hrmm.. did i forget to mention 'stubborn'? Or 'driven'? Aesantiel's one of those that'd walk off a cliff if she perceived that was her duty - and not think twice about it. Part of the discussion with the Paracontess was a "more-lawful-than-thou" alpha-dog thing.

Update: Wife's doing fine. Haven't gotten a lot of sleep though.

This is a tough spot for me (worse than Gilga). I don't like railroading players if they want to avoid an encounter, but I can't really have you avoid this. So...I'm gonna have to ask your forgiveness on this one.

It's easy, just have the encounter happen on a different road, probably wider than the ally.

If you really need to have it in the ally, I guess we know what we are getting into.

The alley is a more logical approach...that's the one good thing I'll say for the encounter.

Hello all. I will be joining you for the second scenario in the First Steps series. (I'll do a more in-character intro when that scenario starts).

Quick summary: Durahl, 1st level Human Rogue. Raised by a retired Elven Pathfinder in Absalom after his parents went missing on a mission in Garund for the PFS.

This is my first attempt at storing a PDF character sheet on Google Docs (my first use of Google Docs as well, btw), so hopefully it is available (fingers crossed).

I'll be out of town this Monday and Tuesday and next Monday and Tuesday. My wife wants to see her parents for her b-day and I gotta make a drive to the boonies of Arkansas. Then I have to come back to Little Rock for my work week then pick her up. Fun fun :)

I've been driving the kids around all weekend, while my wife's off visiting her dad and family, about 6 hours up the road near Kingston, NY. Two sets of shoes and a homecoming dress later, my gas tank is empty :\

OK, so assuming someone drops Daendre this round, and Aesantiel's blow actually lands, then we'll drop the (cleric? oracle?), hobble the barbarian, and scoot away with the hostage in style, while their mage cowers in the background, and their barbarian tries to pursue, only to discover his leg won't bear his weight...

I was hoping Cedrick's or Elross's strikes would drop Daendre (oh, so close!), but waiting a couple of initiative slots may only add theatricality to it.

Sorry to intrude, I've been keeping up with your game play, just for amusement and I must say, for the most part your rolls have been going better than mine have in group one Elross. :D I love how RP heavy your campaign has been so far.

This is really the only place I can do it. I get bored looks when I attempt it in real life.

Okay, I need PFS numbers for Simon and Elross and e-mail addys for Cedrick and Simon so I can get your chronicle sheets to you.

Go ahead and make day job rolls in the gameplay thread and go ahead and do some downtime RPing, if you want. Dex damage for Elross and Aesantiel will have healed by the time the 2nd session starts.

Well, Durahl has dropped out, so would you like me to recruit another or go on with 4? You seem to have done pretty well at the size you're at.

I like running with 5 because of the possibility of someone dropping. That being said, I also like to move quickly, which is easier to do with 4. I guess I can be swayed either way.

I am having a character conundrum, which I will post about later to get your opinions.

In any case, I will be getting a Wand of Cure Light Wounds with my first 2 PP. I recommend the rest of your do the same.

@Fortuna - I don't want to suck the air out of the room. I'd like to continue on with Jessica and Rodrigo, but at a very high level, not an extended dialog - 's'okay?

sorry to hear about Durahl - and he did seem to be anxious to jump off.

I'd be interested in a fifth, just to round out either arcane or skills-ey-ness. I like the dynamic and the pace, but I do have a feeling we're skating on thin ice (and the grace of the GM) in some of these situations.

However, you want to do it. They'll show up again then.

I still need Elross' PFS number and I need to know if Aesantiel or Elross will make day job rolls so I can send these Chronicle sheets out.
