Theodric de LaMontagne |
Blood pouring out of his smashed nose and over his left eye from a deep gash somewhere on his scalp, Theodric grits his teeth and steadies himself, shifting his weight on his right foot as he cranks back his magical buckler for a devastating backhand, which he releases as he springs forward into the giant zombie's midsection:
Full attack with Combat Expertise (-3 atk, +3 AC), starting with Shield Slam to push the zombie away:
Shield Bash with Shield Slam: 1d20 + 15 - 3 ⇒ (15) + 15 - 3 = 27 for 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 bludgeoning damage (attack roll > or = to CMD means target is bull rushed away from Theodric; if exceeds by 5, 10, etc. target is moved 2 or 3 squares away, etc.)
If the giant zombie staggers backwards, Theodric five foot steps in to exit the swarms and attempts to finish the giant. If the giant is defeated, Theodric turns his attacks on the swarms:
+1 Keen Falcata: 1d20 + 20 - 3 ⇒ (16) + 20 - 3 = 33 for 1d8 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14 slashing damage;
+1 Keen Falcata: 1d20 + 15 - 3 ⇒ (5) + 15 - 3 = 17 for 1d8 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16 slashing damage;
AoO on the green swarm as it moved over Theodric:
+1 Keen Falcata: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (18) + 22 = 40 for 1d8 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18 slashing damage;
CONFIRM CRIT: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (14) + 22 = 36 for 1d8 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19 additional slashing damage.
GMG |
Theodric slams his buckler into the zombie, causing yet more ribs to crack. He is unable to move the heavy giant, but luckily for the stalwart fighter the dead hill giant is now truly dead. It slowly topples, away from Theodric. He wastes no time and steps forward, spinning around and slashes at the vipers behind him.
Krunch gets bitten some more, but does not seem to care that all these snakes are trying to bite him.

Mr Pinchy took half of the slam damage too.
Krunch grunts in pain from the giant's fists pounding his ribs but he doesn't give an inch.
The moment he feels slack in the zombie's arm he swings on it like a pendalum bringing the limb up painfully behind the giant. He wrenches on the trapped limb threatening to tear it from its socket. "Krunch says tap out!"
