Going back to operate the pump, Bambang and Adrasteia get it to work. You hear a slurpy sound as the pump seems to be doing something, but otherwise you can not tell the effect.

" Well I hope we don't regret doing that" the elf says "besides I think Cuethric is correct, we should get moving down those stairs." she says before looking to the not elf but not as not elf as the rest of the not elves.
"Is it soo bad? meadows and forests get boring after like half a dozen decades. A change of scenery is good for you."

"Does it sound bad? I just had to help clear out the archives after a giant fish filled the place with water. I'd like to stay dry this time around," answers Velinov with a smirk.

The stairs lead to a cesspool which appears to have very recently been drained. The smell is overwhelming!
Everyone make a DC 15 Fort Save or be nauseated for 1d6 rounds.
A walkway encircles what was clearly a swampy pool of raw sewage and garbage. The pit is 5 feet deep, except for a drain shaft at the center that drops 20 feet more.

Adrasteia almost gags as she enters this room "Nope I take it back I like the forests and meadows a lot more" she says as she covers her mouth and gives the group a "do we have to" expression as she looks at the central pipe.

He turns to the rest. "Let me go down first." At that, Bambang looks for somewhere to anchor a rope before he descends.

Andrasteia cringes at the squishing sound Bambang makes when his feet meet the bottom of the sewage before slowly making her way down as well trying to avoid any especially messy puddles.

This cramped, 5-foot-circumference pipe connects to another drain shaft. This leads to a raised room that appears to stay dry.

Cuethric will follow after Adra. He will use the rope and take 10 for an 11. If he is asked he will second heading for the dry room using the slanted drain pipe.

"Follow me!" Yarricki says while she takes the first passage to her left.

A small passage opens into a wide room with arched stone ceilings. On either end of the room, three channels allow sewage to flow into a mazelike series of channels that flow beneath stone walkways. Just south of the center of the room, a small iron cage hangs from the ceiling.
I am not sure how this affects Thunder...

They appear to be a basic adventuring party. The human woman (blue) looks to be a warrior, carrying a greataxe and throwing axes on her belt. A half-orc male (purple) is dressed as a priest of Gorum. A male human (green) carries a short bow and shortswords, while the half-elf lass (red) carries a crossbow and sickle.
The darkgrey is about 3 ft lower than the light grey, and the brown (sewage) is a foot lower than that.

Yarricki moves Thunder out on the walkway, taking it slowly.
"Go away! We were here first" She shouts at the first of the intruders while waving her lance in a menacing way

Ok, I can't resist. Velinov will "summon" a LargeGolgothan using minor image. I'm going to avoid writing a description out of fear of offending someone. Please consider that before clicking on the link. But I figure a large creature with "soft" flesh should buy some time for our archers.

Bambang has heightened awareness on, and mentioned earlier that he would dismiss it to get +4 initiative if he enters combat. That would put his initiative at 11, above the opponents. Is that ok?

Thunder bites the woman. Yarricki takes a quick glance to see if she still moves and tries to knock her unconsious if she is moving, withholding her attack if she is already unconsious.

Seeing that all the opponents are human in origin, Bambang calls upon the spirits within his sword strike hard against all humans. He then moves up, closing the distance.
"Cuethric! This is no time to hesitate. I doubt they would share the same misgivings."
Spend one transmutation mental focus to activate bane (humans) on his greatsword, then move forward.

Cuethric snaps out of the ideal world and back to reality. He quickly crosses the bridge an advances to 10' north of Bambang reading to fire as he gets there.

Adrasteia misses, but Thunder takes a good bite out of the woman;s arm, when Yarrick comes over the top and crushes her to the ground.
Cuethric, seeing the woman fall, changes his target to purple, disabling him as well..

Sorry - the use of the word 'disabling' was in accurate. Purple still is in the fight. And I guess I don't really need an answer from V - I see on the map what he intended.
The half-orc(purple) casts a spell, curing himself of some of the damage done.

Sorry, I thought it would be obvious that illusions like this would be pre-ambled or worked out with the party by now... like working out a "blue smoke" appearance means it's an illusion.
Velinov concentrates on his artistry, keeping the monster menacing and engaging to the other group, but clumsy enough to keep them guessing by making mere hits.
The goal here is really to have the other party direct their attacks at the monster instead of us, giving time for our archers.

Seeing that other groups are passing through with a vase, Yarricki decides to ignore the other party and check the cage. If there is a vase inside she will try to remove the cage from its chain. If needed she will grasp the cage and use her weigth to break the chain.
GM, your call how much I can do with a fullround action, it takes a free action to direct Thunder to the vase.

The vase is sealed with a wax-coated cork, embossed with an elaborate hand-painted print of a jade phoenix.

It is not a big deal. Purple was at 13 in round 2. Then he was back at 7 for round 3. I really shouldn't care. My job is to hit him with arrows and I am not doing it very well.
Cuethric mumbles to himself "Steady your breathing, relax and see your shots."

Yarricki quickly stuffs the vase and cage in Thunder's saddlebags and grabs her lance again. "Ok, we won. Do you want to continue fighting?"
If nobody reacts she will direct Thunder to attack the nearest opponent
