Apologies all! Two weeks ago I took a full time position at my casual job (teachers aide work), and going from a 4 hour workweek with the odd casual shift to a 37 hour week and a massive change to my sleep schedule has really taken the wind out of my PbP-sails and left me rather overcommited on the games front. I got offered the job two days before the school term so hadn't had a wealth of time to prepare, and with few resources avaliable to us (including a completely bare classroom) we've had our work cut out for us getting things set up.

In short I've fallen frustratingly far behind in my PbP games. Feel free to bot me, but I'm really commited seeing this scenario through (even if my posting has been so spotty for it's beginning). I've set aside some time tonight to catch up (about 8am at present). I'd hoped to find the time this weekend, but
exhaustion won out.

tl;dr there's been an exciting and exhausting change in my situation but I should be caught up within the day. I hope.

Hey guys, I'm going to be gone from Friday afternoon to late Sunday. I'll be on a snowshoeing hiking trip in Northern Vermont, where my connectivity is spotty at best. I'm guessing I won't be posting until I get back.

Thanks for a great run! I'll get my character updated posthaste. I'm umming and uhing whether I should continue, as with my new job regular posting has become a challenge. However, things are getting much more settled at work and I am cautiously optimistic and quite keen to see this series through. Thanks for everybodies patience thus far. :)

Twigs, you aren't technically a pregen anymore, right? If this is correct, then ok on expenditure before leaving.

If you change to Paladin don't use your PP to buy a wand of produce flame. If you use it during the adventure you will not be able to change it with the rebuild rules.

Hey guys, I'm back and ready to go. That being said, This week is going to be insanely busy for me a few days.

Wednesday: Driving down to NYC to see Iron Maiden. I won't be checking the boards at ALL Wednesday until Thursday afternoon.

Weekend: Normally I'm pretty good about posting on the weekends, but I'm the chief referee for a tournament this weekend, and my tournament weekend begins right after school Friday, so I'll be off the boards Friday afternoon until Monday morning.

@GM is handle animal coud work on the dinosaur ?

I think that Handle Animal would be appropriate for dinosaurs - if they existed today, they would certainly be part of the animal kingdom.

However, Handle Animal is not useful in this situation because they are hostile and attacking, and you would need a minute or so of smooth talking, gentle gestures, etc. to try to change their attitude toward you, and even that is more of a Wild Empathy specific thing (which you do have).

To use it successfully in this scenario, I thing you would have to knock these creatures out, cage them, feed them, and then make the attempt to befriend them.

School is out next week. I'll be around (no exaggeration, the stack of papers I have to correct is more than 2,000 pages long.) I might not be quite as fast as normal, but I'll be here. As always, if I'm the player and I'm taking too long, either message me somehow or bot me.
