From the look of it, you'd say it's a follower of Iomedae. Full plate with all the insignia of the Lady od Valor. From the pale face that you have seen quite often now, you comclude that he is another undead.

With the knight's move stopped, Darius grabs one of the stakes, Grergof prepared and drives it into the knight's back. It's nowhere told, that the heart has to be staked through the chest, and that breastplate is a serious hindrance for that.

Grergof puts away his flail pulls out his scimitar and using two hands coupe de Graces the vampire to chop off his head.

After the head comes off he puts away his scimitar and dumps out a vile of holy water on the head:
There I believe that also kills a staked vampire

Then he draws out his flail and looks at the others and motions at the door.

While Spugnoir looks for a matching sack to put the knight, Grergof handles the subject quickly and the remains of the vampire crumble to dust.

Behind the door, sarved stone columns resembling angels with outstretched
wings support the ceiling of this wide, long chamber. Decayed bones and half-rotten burial shrouds spill out of ten five-foot-wide alcoves in the chamber’s walls.

The vampire mist is nowhere seen.

This ossuary housed the honored remains of the abbey’s monks and Iomedae’s faithful. The bones that were interred here, lie now strewn across the floor. Checking on the alcoves Grergof finds some secret passages. One leads to a well. And one to a larger network of tunnels. Also there is the double door to leave the area.

"We could just set fire to the whole place and watch it burn from the road side." Stam says as he searches. "Another underground area? I don't want to go down there now. Lets clear the abbey first and then retire."

(F25) On Stam's suggestion the group moves on through the doors. A single torch mounted in a sconce along the wall at the base of the stairs lights this long hallway. Two chambers lie open to the east and north.

(F26) This chamber lies empty and disused, covered in a fine layer of dust. A mural of a winged human woman with an eagle’s head
covers the east wall.

The mural depicts the eagle-headed form of Saint Lymirin, one of Iomedae’s greatest celestial servants.

A vampire mist comes out of the stone coffin, as Grergof seeks a hold at the lid. It moves to the end of the room and manifests as Radvir Giovanni. "You again! Give up already, you can't win."
