Ok, Kurth is all leveled up. I took standard PFS hit points (6 for a fighter) rather than rolling, as we did before. Skill points went to Perception and Swim, favored class bonus to hit points. Took Weapon Focus (longsword) as my feat.

Also, I realized that we no longer have the loot spreadsheet DM Derek put together. As best I can tell, here's what we have accumulated that is ready to divide:

* (2) mithral daggers (kept from earlier exploration, I think Kurth has carried one while Alice carries the other)
* wand of cure light wounds (fully charged[?], bought with party funds before heading to quarry)

* Rescued Bophre Malak, a farmhand from the Malak dairy in Belhaim, and Carlo and Sela Bellathi, a married couple who were peddlers of religious charms. Bophre at least promised a reward if we visit the farm.

* Cold iron longsword (Kurth has been using, from the armory - I assume we didn't bother with the various small-sized mundane weapons)

* (3) potions of cure light wounds (from the kobold priest, not sure who's carrying these)

* small chainmail

* mwk (small) quarterstaff

* cloak of resistance +1

* spell component pouch

* gold unholy symbol (worth 100 gp)

* (2) scrolls of glitterdust

I had a quick question. Is Additional Traits an option for a feat? If so, I'd like to take that and pick up the Seeker and Underlying Principals traits and put my favored class bonus into Use Magic Device. If not, I'll take Toughness and put the skill point into Heal.

It's up to you. You can leave the dungeon if you want.

Once we figure out the loot, Alice will sell her mithral dagger. It's a nice item, but the gold is probably more useful for the party.

Here's an updated list of our communal loot. Per the SRD, the mithral daggers are worth 502 at market price (we'd probably get less). My only concern with selling them is that they functioned as keys - that may have been limited to the ruined tower dungeon, or it may not.

We need to get sale prices on a few things - is it half price for everything?

Also, is anyone in Belhaim capable of casting masterwork transformation? I'd like to get that cold iron longsword masterworked, but can buy a new one if needed.

I say just take what is useful to you and call it "group loot" since anything that increases a PCs ability to do its job is good for the group. I'll take the Wand of Web and the scrolls of Glitterdust. I think Alsterro would be the logical one to take the wand of CLW we already got since he may be the only one who can use it.

If everyone else passes on the Cloak of Resistance I would take it.

So before selling anything we have the 2595gp, divided by 4 that would be 648gp, 7sp and 5 cp each. I say keep the daggers Alice.

Yes, you can sell items for half price. "Trade good" items (gems, jewelry, artwork, etc) sell for full price.

Also, yes, they have a cleric who could cast masterwork transformation for you. But then again so could Alsterro I think.

Alice spends 450gp on a Masterwork Composite Shortbow (+1 strength rating) and 250gp on a Masterwork Chain Shirt. She takes a potion of cure light wounds.

I can cast Masterwork Transformation at this point, so if anybody wants to save some change and have me upgrade their armor/weapon/tools, I can do that. More blood magic for the Blood Magic God!

Potions should probably go one-each to the people who are spending time in the front line (Alice, Kurth, myself). I'll snag the Cure wand. If Kurth doesn't want it particularly, I wouldn't mind snagging the Cloak for Reflex and Fort saves. I'm definitely going to snag a wrist-sheath for myself (for the wand), and I'll probably get a heavy darkwood shield and a mwk heavy mace as well.

Sent Alsterro another PM. If he doesn't respond in the next few days I may put out a call for a replacement; disappearing for over a week without warning is generally not a good sign so I have a sinking feeling he lost interest in PbP.

I still haven't heard back from Alsterro so I'm guessing he's gone for good. I found someone who I think is interested but he has had a personal matter come up so it may be a while before he gets his character ready. I told him that you guys have requested a healer of some sort or at least a class that can use curing wands, as you don't even have that at the moment.

Also, I will be packing up and moving tomorrow and Thursday, although I'm hoping to have time to post at least once/day. Next Monday and Tuesday, however, my fiancee and I are traveling to Madison WI to look at a few houses and I will likely be unable to post while I'm there.

Good luck on the move and travel! Does this mean you're moving to Madison?

Any class that can manage to use a CLW wand is fine, I think. In-combat healing can be nice, but isn't a must.

Question: Are the scroll tube, darkwood case and books actually worth that if sold, or do we only get half price? Secondly, do we want to sell Secrets of the Dreaming Dark and the scroll of permanency? Both seem like Hunclay had them for a specific purpose, even if we don't know what that was yet.

Re: the books, scroll tube, and darkwood case: you can sell them for full price. Anything that could be considered a 'trade good' (i.e. not normal gear that your character would buy) can be sold at full price. Gear (pretty much anything a character would normally buy) sells for half-price.

I brought a fully charged wand of CLW with me and 2 scrolls of lesser restoration. I know that won't help with the shae woman's level drain, but just for consideration.

I'll have Harsk leveled-up later tonight.

Milloy - I don't really have any suggestions. Are you able to scribe a scroll of daylight? I'm not sure if it is too high, but that is a mighty useful spell. If you're not able to do that, Harsk is going to purchase an oil of daylight for sure.

A scroll of daylight wouldn't be too useful if it's already dark though. Kinda hard to read in the dark.
