I think I didn´t thank you for help me giving a good impression to Amenopheus. After passing his test we´d talk a little about the Society, my misunderstandings, and how they´re working in my homeland. It was instructive and I doubt it had been possible without your help.

And talking about pasts missiones. Being so near to the death has make me ponder my acts in combat. I´ve obtained a wand to cure you, so you can continue fighting, and a potion in case I go down. Had any of you thought again of that combat?

I use google docs for maps, it's editable to move your own tokens.

I want to double check my acrobatics: I have a speed of 25, I still get -4 penalty on jumps?

Faster Base Movement: Creatures with a base land speed above 30 feet receive a +4 racial bonus on Acrobatics checks made to jump for every 10 feet of their speed above 30 feet. Johnny Sniper and DoubleGold, i've read yesterday seasons 0-3 are written for 4 player teams.

I propose running Silent tide for you and fill the two slots with others, if that's okay. Let me know what you think of it.

As to the question on acro, if your race has the "base speed" of 25 then i'd think it would take the penalty.

To the other 4, hopefully you've brought some warm clothes, it's cold where you're headed.

Well, I can switch my free outfit to cold weather since he is level 1, unless you consider it too late since I dotted in gameplay.

as far as scenarios written, 4 is the balance, but 6 is the max, and 6 will more likely guarantee survival.

oh and Johnny Sniper/Doublegold is the same person.

I wouldn't contradict that on everything, with the villains' ambush on my group of 5 in 1st steps.

However going through the pdf, a party of 6 (7 including animal companion) would make this a walk in the park on the 1-2 tier.

In the particular thread, a VC even opted to follow a calc to determine tiers. That would make a party of 6 (7) fit for a tier 3 adventure...pfft.

I'm sure (some) people would agree a 7 on 1 NPC is a overkill joke. :)

1 NPC? That is probably 1 really powerful NPC. Also, throw us into tier 2, that would be mean we would get more gold if we played the higher tier right, or does it not work that way?

Nah, a squishy.

There's like with other scenarios tier for lvl 1-2, and tier for lvl 4-5.

All i'm saying is, if this one's run with 6 on 1st lvl, including the monk character the other (not alistar) has, it's a 1 round combat all the way. XD

Pride? This dice roller blows goats.. I have no confidence in my capability to pull off any action these days. And i keep running into rreally deadly situations .. ie a shadow for a level 1 party.. wtf.. if my character didn't have arcane strike we were dead.. as it was we very almost were.

Thornkeep.. oh year that's right after the Wight.. you know the creature with level drain against level 1's = instant death = 2 characters down.

Thornkeep 1 is really hard, also the ethereal creature before the wight isn´t easy with characters just created.

About the scenario, when you are level 1 the scenario is easy or letal depending on the dice. No one can survive a crit, you can easily be one shoted and don´t have money for all the contingency scrolls/equipment you could need. But life is hard, so I don´t mind a lot if we are only 4.

On a direct hit, an alchemist's bomb inflicts 1d6 points of fire damage + additional damage equal to the alchemist's Intelligence modifier. The damage of an alchemist's bomb increases by 1d6 points at every odd-numbered alchemist level (this bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit or by using feats such as Vital Strike). Splash damage from an alchemist bomb is always equal to the bomb's minimum damage (so if the bomb would deal 2d6+4 points of fire damage on a direct hit, its splash damage would be 6 points of fire damage).

1d6 (1st lvl) + int mod (+4) = 1d6+4

Latest Thornkeep thing.. 2 fungal crawlers.. 26hp each, 3 attacks at +6, plus poison on the bite,
poison dc 14 1d2 con and str... cr 3 for level 1 characters..

My character plus his animal companion just survived 1 round against them.. and bugged out... after the wight and the shadow.. nope..

I though you were ignoring the HA check because I usually only fail with a 1*, but I´ll do the checks from now.

The math is Cha -2, Skill +1, Trained, +3, Link +4, Training harness +2. Not so badtaking in account she has dumped Charisma.

*3 and less if he´s wounded or has taken any nonlethal damage or ability score damage.

It kinda occurred since i was reading one of my own adventures back at Murder on the Throaty Mermaid, where a druid kept making HA checks every turn to direct a roc. :)

It helped me achieve my faction goal, to steal the a statuette up front :D

can't speak for everyone here, but I really like the humorous out of character comments you post. Leads me to believe that the GM is having fun with playing as well. Most games i've been in don't have this and it's entertaining. Thank you GM Chyro.

Say Asami, how'd you end up with +8 on UMD?
It's no swashbuckler class skill. Even if it were, you'd be only at +7.

With it not being such, you'd have only +4 bonus, looking back you'd have only 10 at your 1st UMD attempt. Which, on a wand, is a mishap.

She has the trait Dangerously Curious, which make UMD a Class Skill and gives a +1..

And she doesn´t want to lend the wand to the druid, who can activate it without any check :P
