Nature and Aid

Rules Discussion

Hello, I have a question about a Nature check made by a NPC to harvest ingredients.

With the Aid, is it possible to have all players using a Aid Action to help NPC on the same check ?

Thanks for your future answer.

Liberty's Edge

Yes. You then apply all results taking into account that the bonuses do not stack. And a critical failure will actually worsen the check.

Don't ask us, ask your GM. Aid is GM-dependent.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Within narrative reason, yes they can all make an Aid attempt. The GM is allowed to limit the number of characters that can crowd around in the area where the work is being done if that makes sense.

As The Raven Black pointed out, the typed bonus that Aid gives won't stack. The typed penalty won't stack either if multiple characters critically fail. But the highest bonus and highest penalty of the same type will both apply to the roll. Bonus type stacking rules
