Kazzak, you need a reflex save against the fire. DC 12 for either 1 or 3 damage taken. Both of Kazzak's AoOs hit, which means that the Professor's bomb actually kills the two northern zombies.
Kazzak hacks into the abominations as they approach and the reanimated gillmen collapse as they burn, creating an even fouler stench.
The final zombie uses its remaining arm to attack Nikolai, driving the air from his lungs as it nearly crushes his sternum.

Ouch...sorry for the collateral damage there, guys. This is my first alchemist character, and I'm new to this "splash damage" thing! Sorry!
Yeah, I tried to have Janira help you in character, but maybe I wasn't overt enough ;-) So you can target someone and deal full damage to them, which is 1d6 + 2. However, you're usually throwing into melee, which gives you a penalty. If you miss your original target, you have to roll a d8 to see which way it falls. In this case, you hit your original target so you dealt full damage to it (1d6 +2), but you then deal all creatures adjacent to your target splash damage, which they can reflex save against for half. One thing you are allowed to do is target a square on the map. This only requires hitting AC 5 and only deals splash damage to people in adjacent squares. But it's a good way to avoid precise-shot penalties and, you know, splashing your friends with firey death, lol. Splash damage is minimum damage, btw, so 3 for you.

Aznive gives Kazzak an admiring look. She then spins on one foot, takes a few steps to reposition and then makes a lunge with her rapier, at the place where the zombie's heart would normally be beating.

If Nikolai moves one square South then Seleena can slide in to make an aid another on his (or someone else's) next attack. Seleena only has B and P weapons. She'll have a Falchion after this level, but I couldn't afford it with starting gold.

Nikolai doubles over as the zombie gillman lands a solid blow in his chest. A coppery taste enters his mouth, and he doesn't have to look to know it's his blood. That's never good, he thinks, looking around to note his allies have surrounded the last zombie.
"Hell with this," he cries, red spittle flying from his mouth. "You guys deal with this thing!" He falls back, letting Kazzak and Aznive deal with the creature.

"Hey Nikolai, are you all right? I think there's still a healing potion in Janira's backpack. With that hit you took, you could probably use it."
Aznive wipes her rapier on a spare cloth to make sure no traces of zombie remain to tarnish it. She then walks over to the Dhampir body in the corner. She pokes it a couple of times with the side of her rapier's tip to make sure that it's not getting up. When she's satisfied that it really is just a body, she'll start examining it.

Professor Faust enters the room after the others.
"Just as I had hypothesized, the explosions proved devastating! Err...so sorry for the collateral damage caused. I perhaps mixed a few more of the volatile chemicals than I should have. I will be more careful in the future!" the Professor mutters.
He then commences a fit of coughing in the corner.

"Yeah, I'll live," Nikolai says with one hand wrapped around his midsection. "Bastard caught me dead in the chest. Damned twice-borns." He fishes out the potion that Janira left them, and quaffs it down.

Moved Seleena on the map--it did lash out at you once, but missed.
Rumble, that will hit (actually for 9, due to IC) if you can get next to the ooze. You can wait for Nikolai to hit and withdraw, or you can I suppose tumble through the cube's square if you have enough movement. You might want to wait to see if Kazzak gets his reflex save, because if he succeeds he'll be shunted out of the way somewhere.
