As usual!
Name:
Character name & levels:
PFS ID:

Day job:
Please do read my profile to be familiar with my running style. The last part of the trilogy is tier 3-7, so bare that in mind when choosing characters! I will start in approximately a week when everyone checks in. If folks don't check in by 48-72 hours I'll start recruiting people that have put interest in!

![]() |

Let's see what others are bringing! I'm okay if we need to switch characters or... even pause that last part until everyone has levelled up and come back. I'll adjust to the party.

![]() |

For a 1-5 going into a 3-7, this is likely my best choice. It's either my 3rd level fighter, or a brand new character.

I can bring a level 4 archer (preference), or a level 2 brawler - depending on if we end up high or low tier. I have a few other options if it needed, though.

I'm not strict with subtiers, as long as composition of who you'd like to bring is within the tier, we'll take the APL and apply appropriate subtier adjustments as guided by the society guide.

Is lvl 6 too high for this? By the third scenario the character would be lvl7. If it's ok I'd like to play if not, no biggie.

![]() |

Sorry to hear that Massee, hopefully in future I'll get to host you again!
Sorry Rogar, at this time the recruitment had completed with lots of interest, the selected players were:
Massee (checked in), Granta (checked in), Torvald, wrong john (checked in), fuzzfoot, nejustmo (checked in)
and there's a few more on the waitlist already. But to answer your question, it is tier 1-5 for the first two parts of the scenario. so lv 6 is too high! If those on the waitlist can't join I would open the table to you.

![]() |

OH yep! I knew that. Don't know why I didn't put you chewcked in. Just waiting on Torvald.

![]() |

Thanks for the spot, GM Batpony! I'll go with this guy unless we need something non-rogue.

Looks about right! Combat heavy group! We'll give Torvald another 24 hours else I'll recruit another folk on the waiting list.

![]() |

And we're off! Still working down the list for the 6th player, no one has a character in 3-5 tier it seems!

![]() |

Ugh, ever notice a spelling or syntax error you made in your post but too much time has gone by to fix it? Bugs the crap out of me, LOL.

It looks like you might still have an opening for a divine character, eh? I have a shaman I could bring who I would need to update with a couple chronicles still. Would it be ok if he starts at 2.1 so he would be 3 by the 3rd part of the series?
If that doesn't work, or you don't have a day or two for me to get my guy updated, I could bring Kyra instead.

![]() |

I'm good with the 2.1 it won't change the dynamics of the game. We'll still be at mid APL and be playing high tier with 4 player adjustments. As long as you're ready before the weekend it should not be a problem. I'll slow down the intro

![]() |

When upgrading the heads of a double weapon, each head can be upgraded separately, right? So I could spend 2000gp to upgrade one end from MW to +1, and upgrade the second end for 2000gp later?

![]() |

As funny as that sounds, I believe you are correct. A weapon that's only half magic. Lol. I assume you have enough fame to meet requirement?

![]() |

I keep forgetting that..
Basically, fame is an accumulation of your PP (inclusive the PP spent). PFS limits the cost of magic items you can own based on your fame, written in the guild guide. The maximum total cost of a single magic item cannot exceed the cost based on what fame you have. I.e.don't count enchantment cost separate.
But with that said, you're golden for now.

![]() |

Thanks. I read over the fame and prestige rules again, and I've made my axe head a +1 weapon (I still have two Oils of Magic Weapon I'll want to use up, anyway).
I'm tempted to pick up a potion of haste for 2 PP, too.

@Yliss: Ah, well if you are willing to share I guess I can hold off on that one. I already have a wand of CLW and I don't cast spells so I don't think I could use anything else at the moment.

![]() |

@Glorin: If you make that a scroll, it comes with two castings, and there's almost always somebody in the party who can use it. Also, the scroll form makes it easier to target your allies.
@Xavian: In that case, I strongly recommend a scroll of lesser restoration (5). It's pretty much guaranteed that you'll take ability damage eventually, and there's a good chance somebody in the party will be able to activate it for you.

![]() |

Hmm, yeah lets do that. I have a couple of characters that had chronicles for wands of lesser restoration with limited charges and took advantage of them. Might as well get the scroll for this guy.

![]() |

I've resolved the actions of the folk.. but yes, swim checks or climb. Whichever you think makes more sense for your character to do.

![]() |

If anyone needs to level up, start doing so. We'll continue the momentum straight into part 2 of the trilogy. After this you'll report back to VC Norden Balentir who will give you your next mission briefing immediately after your report. Expect the chronicles to be uploaded soon.
