About Jian Sheng

Background/Inspiration:
A composite of sword masters from wuxia genre and bleach anime.

Description:

Jian Sheng is a quiet, withdrawn person after her traumatic experiences. Physically, she is a athletic and petite, with dark short hair and dark brown eyes. She wears comfortable, loose travelling clothing that allows freedom of movement, with a short cloak around her shoulders, a headband on her forehead and topped off with a wide brim hat. She wears two bangles with pearls attached. A black katana is strapped at her side with a short dagger at her hip, and she carries a bag slung over her shoulder.

Jian Sheng's experiences has left her jaded with the notions of good and evil, having come to the conclusion that people are mostly motivated by personal goals and gains. As such, she avoids forming relationships and can seem rather cold, although this is primarily because she doesn't wish anyone else to draw into her own personal entanglements.

Jian Sheng has pledged her blade to the Scarab Sages, seeing their goal of disseminating knowledge to spark a new golden age a worthy endeavor and seeking to leave behind a legacy to be proud of. She also seeks to further improve herself, strongly believing that one must fulfill their potential to the utmost.
