Ashka gives Goupil a puzzled, sidelong glance, but realizes that the bard's peculiar joke has stirred her to move into the room and face Charvion, in spite of the gout of white flame and the obvious damage to the room.

"Nowhere to hide in there," she says quietly, "let's surround him, Varuna." An idea occurs to her, however, and she ducks down behind Kent and moves into the room behind the towering figure, hoping to go unnoticed for a moment.

Will use Kent as cover while moving, which should allow me to use Stealth. I'll wait until he moves his token, maybe he can move mine to right behind him after he goes.

Confused by all the copies of Charvion, Varuna watches as Valjoen rushes at one of them, and assumes that must be the real one. Knowing they need to put an end to this quick, he pulls out a small vial from a pocket on his sleave and chugs it down. He feels a rush of strength to his legs as if suddenly weighs nothing and could move like the wind. Varuna then draws his tiny rapier and storms headlong into the room.

The priest pauses as his companions push open the large doors. Standing up by the machine with Ashka, he closes his eyes and asks his Lord to bless her mind with clarity.

Then tightly gripping his longsword he, turns and advances on the crazed bone-eater. Ashka tucks herself behind the tall armoured knight to hide herself from Charvion. With Arqueros's blessing, she is now faster than he is, weighed down by the magical steel suit which he wears.

War Mind: You touch an ally and grant it a tactical advantage for 1 minute. At the start of its turn each round, it can select one of the following bonuses: +10 feet to base land speed, +1 dodge bonus to AC, +1 insight bonus on attack rolls, or a +1 luck bonus on saving throws. Each bonus selected lasts for 1 round.

That should give Ashka 30' of movement when you need it; or whatever bonus you want. I moved both tokens.

While Goupil shouts at his companions to strengthen their courage Kentel with Ashka directly behind him move closer to Chavrion. The knight asks for blessings from his Lord. Valjoen charges Charvion and cuts a deep wound into the sorcerer's belly. Varuna drinks a potion while the wolf charges into the room to bite Charvion, unsucessful. Also Olenader's arrow misses the target.

Charvion takes a step back and casts a spell. Suddenly the air around Wolfie and Valjoen is filled with sparkling glitter.

Seeing their enemy drop, Kent relaxes and smiles. This motley collection of adventurers have done well for a handful of folk who walked to the arena together from the Grand Lodge. But no sooner has one 'Charvion' been dealt with, than another appears.

Gripping his blade tight again, he charges their new opponent. Fervour burns within him, and he releases it, swiftly casting a spell. Those who see him, note that his limbs are stronger, his muscles bulging in the chain undershirt of his armour.

Striking hard at this bone-eating magician, the priest cuts through his robes, spilling red blood over the floor.

The battle priest takes slides to his left opposite the wolf, leaving room for one of his other companions to join the melee flanking the necromancer with Ashka. He knows that he has stepped in front of the archer, but hopes she will forgive him......

Once more, he swings at the clawed creature before them. Kent is sure that Charvion has gone beyond being a man, and is perhaps possessed of one of the souls he has contacted with this cage. Or perhaps he has just partaken of too many old bones.

Seeing the light fade from their foe's eyes before he can even strike it, he sees Ashka's face appear when this Charvion falls the ground dead. Hearing a new engagement behind him, he salutes her, before charging the third incarnation. Filled with righteous zeal, he calls upon his deity to guide his hand.
