The snapleaf is such a good item for 750gp. It helped save Eadie's life on a previous occasion.

Turg, do you have any saves still to make?

Finally able to see the enemies, Chochok takes a knee and quickly fires off three loud blasts from his musket.

Edit: Stupid misfire

+2 attack/damage is favored enemy (human). Remove if they aren't human but I'm assuming since it hasn't been mentioned that they are human.

Rebels Map

Turg mounts Snave for a airlift around the well, leaving Lore on the original balcony to contemplate her next move.

Chochok fires his musket once at the closest human.
miss: 1d100 ⇒ 32

A magical field appears faintly around the man, glowing with multicolored hues but the bullet pierces and strikes him full in the shoulder.

Undoubtedly, the musket then misfires, to the grippli's dismay.

I was trying to determine what it would look like for a frog's leg can to 'take a knee'...seems it would be backwards...but hey, who am I to argue with science LOL?

Lore?

Lore, left alone on the balcony, considers her options... She sighs, and heads for the stairs, moving toward the area where others seems to have gone, joining Maximo and Chochok as fast as her little gnome legs will carry her (double move)...

Rebels Map

Lore moves to join the fray.

In the combat, the first cultist, being entangled pulls out a vial and drinks the contents causing some of his wounds to close.

cmw: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (1, 5) + 3 = 9

His comrade eyes Chochok and moves slowly 10' forward due to ice binding his limbs. He swings at the frog-man.

"Lissala smite thee!"

Melee flail+buffs, entangled: 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 8 + 2 + 1 - 2 = 26
for dmg,smite: 1d8 + 2 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 2 + (3, 5) = 13

The woman with the flaming whip advances slowly into the center of the room.

She calls out, directing her attention towards Chochok and Maximo.

"Lissala shall judge you infidels harshly for intruding on this place. You will wish you were dead!"

She cannot quite reach Caradeum on the ceiling so opts to snap the whip at Chochok instead.

Flame Whip whip+buffs-entangled: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 11 + 2 + 2 - 4 = 17

I believe the whip misses due to the entangle

Rebels Map

Meanwhile down in the well the jangles brothers move towards the rope (and Eadie). One is within reach of her, but does not appear to know exactly where she is.
This closer one shoots a length of chain upwards to wrap and grab the rope and he attempts to start climbing up the wall spidery fast.

@Eadie, Aoo if you desire with your reach weapon as it moves to the rope

Otherwise, Party is up...

Deciding not to let Dangles and Tangles try to take her friends by surprise in the rear AND because she hasn’t hit anything for ages … AND because she loves the drama, Eadie drops her invisibility cover, takes an AoO on Dangles, followed by a 5' step to the south-west and a full attack with her hammer.

I believe this puts Dangles between Eadie and Tangles, as you've shown on the map, GM Aarvid.

But she is unable to recover her whip properly transitioning from high to low, and the grippli escapes untouched and hurls his net at the other cultist, entangling him again.

Lore peers down the steps and directs another ball of flames into the room to hit the 3 visible foes.

The entangled man takes the full brunt of the flames as does his brother. The flame woman appears to dodge some of the flames.

There are also a pair of yells of pain from beyond the wall behind where the three emerged.

"Blasted gnome! Not again!"

Will save for Lore

Maximo then steps up and finishes off the entanled man, slicing him nearly in two with a vicious hack from his greatsword. The body falls without a sound.
He's dead-dead,Jim

Meanwhile, down in the well, Eadie casts caution to the wind and breaks her invisibility, smashing at bojangles.

She hits him hard with the blow from invisibility and then calls upon divine luck to hit him again. However, he is able to barely react to her third strike at the last moment.

@Eadie, first two hit for 37 damage. Last one, I believe you have +2 to hit for invis, but that would be gone? Makes the difference of hit v miss

Then she calls up to Lore...but Lore is pretty far from the edge of the well, and may not be able to hear her plea.

@Lore Perception to hear Eadie if you'd like - but she is 150' away with solid stone and combat/fireballs raging for what it is worth. Others may be able to relay the message.

Bad guys next...I will hold off incase there are any corrections to the minutes.

@GM Aarvid, if I'm reading it correctly, Eadie should have soft-mite cover from the original Jangles (west) but one attack still hits for 8 damage.

She does not get this advantage from Tangles in the north, who hits her twice for another 16 damage.

Eadie is very relieved to receive Turg's gift of flight. "Thank-you so much, Turg! I owe you TWO buckets of blood-and-bone AND a big kiss!"

Careful to avoid passing through any green rune rings, Eadie flies out 20' NW-NW-W from the ledge above the lake and lunges at the original Bo-jangles west from 15' away.

@Maximo - assuming you are not stopping to search rooms if no occupants encountered.

    Max Room E:

Unlike the rooms above, this level shows every sign of being lived in. Dirt and grime have been cleansed, revealing an opulent suite even the most jaded decadent could call home. Firepelt rugs cover parquet flooring in the main chamber of a communal living area. Around the room stand fine mahogany tables, desks, and gilded chairs, and recessed shelves on the walls hold a trove of books and scrolls. Cloth-of-gold wall hangings show images of a serpentine goddess raining bounty upon her worshipers. An arch to the north overlooks the well, while smaller arches west and east contain downward and upward staircases. A number of closed doors lead off from the main room as well.

    Max Room F:

This room is dominated by a long wooden table with matching benches on either side of it. The table is long enough to fit a dozen or more diners at once, though less than half a dozen places are set at the moment. To the south, a wide counter stretches across the length of the room, broken by a half-door midway across. On the other side of this barrier a kitchen is arranged around a central fire pit. A sideboard contains a number of stacked plates and flatware. Stairwells provide exits from this room to the northwest and southeast.

Max and Eadie can see into this room from their new locations...

    Max/Eadie Room G:

The scent of blood seasoned with herbal and floral notes assaults the nostrils. This room is laid out for function, not aesthetics, the walls hewn from dark granite and lined with hanging chains and manacles. The floor is bare but for a path of runes laid down the center, painted crudely in a dark brown pigment. A rack on the wall contains several varieties of whips, ranging from simple knotted lengths of rope to cats-o’-ninetails and knouts. Two arches lead to stairs at opposite ends of the room. A southeastern opening overlooks the well shaft, egress blocked by iron bars. From these bars hang three human forms, hands chained above their heads, facing out on the well. Patterns of half-healed runic scars decorate their naked backs.

Jangles yells up to bojangles to the north. Both move 60' along the ledge. One further south and down and the other back to their original room and up/north.

"Cut her off! Keep her from the offerings!"

    Party up. Map updated.
