Payn laughs and winks salaciously back, mumbling to him, "Do not start what you do not intend to finish!" before heading to an indicated boat and taking her place for the hunt.

Lukasz Alazario |

Lukasz gets Leekoo's attention before saying, "Watch over our comrade when you can and keep a sharp eye out." Then, he also boards a boat figuring it best to split the group evenly than to have one stranded on her own. He didn't have much experience in sailing, but perhaps what he lacked in experience he could make up for through his natural intuition.

The Indescribable |

Two sailors climb into the boat along with Luckasz and wait for Payn to take her place before pushing off. Kargeld takes two leaving one behind with Leekoo to show him the ropes.

The sailor is an excellent teacher and Leekoo gets a permanent +1 trait bonus to Profession Sailing checks.
The small boat sweeps through the waves, as Lukasz, Payn and two sailors hunt for Seal. Payn make a survival check.

"Leekoo Weekoo learn a boat! Leekoo Weekoo not make joke!" Leekoo said excitedly as the rest of his compatriots came back from hunting. "Leekoo Weekoo not see seal. Leekoo Weekoo want a meal."

Um, sir? I think Bueller's gone today...

Allyson "Allister" Zoren |

Allison woke only a couple hours before the boats returned. She had thus far, eaten a small breakfast and was ready to take her watch for the night again. She was growing weary and restless trapped on this boat. The delay only making it worse. She was promised to become the Master's blade. Yet, here she was, stuck in the scabbard growing dull.

At dinner that night Payn leans close to her companions. "I've no skill for hunting dumb animals. Can someone else come along? If you'll not let my blade taste this fool's heartsblood, then you can at least give me another target to give my blade a warm embrace."

Lukasz Alazario |

Tightening his fists at Odenkirk's stubbornness, Lukasz nonetheless remains calm, even pleasant. "If that is the case, then allow me to lead one of the boats tomorrow. I may not be an apt sailor, but mayhaps my wisdom may help in finding the best places to spot what we search for."
Better to help with what this fool wants now and speed us along towards our goal and hopefully a sweet end to our dealings with this man, he finished in his mind.

Payn nods as the cleric deftly joins the party.
She goes to sharpen her blade and prepare for the morrow. No matter what, fate willing, it will find a warm home shortly.

Lukasz Alazario |

Though unskilled in looking for what the Captain wanted to find, Lukasz kept his eyes peeled for any sign of movement that would tip them off to where 'water' might be.

When you get back to the ship Odenkirk is pulling his prize aboard, better than the day before he watches as the men stack a pile of seals on the deck. Oi, how did the seas treat you today?

![]() |

Sorry, haven't really been on any of my games lately. New prescription pills have been sapping my enthusiasm for pretty much everything.

Lukasz Alazario |

Lukasz, glad that the Captain finally decided to continue with the mission, nodded in response. Though he looked calm, his frustration at the Captain continued to boil as the group moved back onto the ship. He would see the Captain dead...once his usefulness had run its course.

Payn spends much of her time pacing, her knuckles wringing the hilt of her sword, as if she could squeeze blood out of it.
Does someone just wanna roll for Leekoo?

The Indescribable |

Sorry, GM got lazy while waiting for player actions. I already accepted Lukasz's rolls. Yes Lucky, I do still remember your name.
Odenkirk keeps the ship anchored until the next morning and begins pulling away. After a couple of hours one of the sailor's notes a set of boats hugging the shoreline and slowly making their way towards your ship. He calls it out.

Lukasz Alazario |

Feeling as refreshed as he was likely to feel while forced to sleep on deck, Lukasz looked in the direction the sailor was pointing as he stated, "Captain...who are they?" His fingers rested lightly on his weapon, wary of some trick or such that might be played on their group.

Payn counts the Yutak, evaluating fighting competency and quality of arms and armor.
Only Lukasz and those very close can hear her mutter, "Why...yes. We do.... Want.....Take....Have...."
Her eyes are red-rimmed. Someone else might guess it from a poor night's sleep.
But those of the entourage can recognize the symptoms of Blood Withdrawl.
"Skulls...for the skull throne..... Blood...for the...."

I am truly sorry about everything. But, with everything that had been going on in my life, I never felt up to posting here. Now, though, I've been feeling better, and I'm coming back like McArthur promised the Philippians.
As the sailing continued, Leekoo kept learning, watching the sailors at their job and helping out when he could. When the new boats started arriving, he cocked his head to the side. "Leekoo Weekoo see new guy. Leekoo Weekoo act real shy." he said quietly as he hid behind Lukasz.

Lukasz Alazario |

Tucking the symbol of Asmodeus out of view as the Yuktak boat drew close, Lukasz did his best to take on the air of a merchant and waited until the Yutak spoke to say, "That would depend on what you are trading. And what you value in return."

A MacArthur always pays his debts. ;)

Amelia Zoran alias of Allyson |

As the boats are approaching, Allyson will use her iron circlet to change her disguise to her alias.
What kind of knowledge would it be to know if tusks would be valuable? I think we have the metal from those cobras we killed. And maybe the armor and weapon of the knight we killed in Thorn's place. Did you guys keep anything from the prison when you escaped?

Payn gives Allyson a sidelong glance. Seeing that power is being used, she assumes the worst.
And rejoices.
"So much blood...too much to drink," she mumbles, her body infused with power from her master.
Bull's strength.

Amelia Zoran alias of Allyson |

'Amelia' ignores Payn trying to keep her own body placed firmly between the visitors and Payn's bloodlust. She turns her attention to Lukasz. "With us losing the blacksmith, we no longer have much use for the mithril cobras. I believe ivory would be easier to exchange for coin that untempered mithril." She makes the point with a flat voice. She could honestly care less about the ivory, metal, or coin. She was merely pointing out facts and clearly placing the decision to him.

Lukasz Alazario |

Smiling pleasantly, Lukasz nodded at 'Amelia' before stating, "Well we don't have much that we could trade ourselves. We do have some mithril that is quite valuable that we could see parting with. How much ivory to you have available to you?"

![]() |

Payn continues her little monologue, mumbling so her words go no farther than Lukasz's ears. 'Mithril...mithril is metal...ivory...ivory comes from teeth...yes, yes, very good....use our metal to keep their teeth...will get many coins for their teeth...."

The Indescribable |

The man looks shocked and quickly confers with his fellows in their native tongue. One of the men in the boat pulls forth a long wrapped bundle almost 8 feet log. He unwraps it revealing a long Narwhal Tusk It is a magnificent specimen. Tusk much valuable, trade?

Amelia Zoran alias of Allyson |

Allyson keeps a wary eye on the men as they rush off to their boat. Concerned they were either attempting to cheat them, or worse going to gather weapons to take the mithril. She is relieved to see the tusk, but still keeps a vigilant eye for any signs of deciet.

Payn's mind turns to the tactical. She watches their movements, trying to gauge which are the best fighters, who is the most likely to put up the most resistance...and if any of them like it rough.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Alas, she can only think about how long it's been since she's hurt anything. She starts to imagine the Yutak are all orcs, and if they're not stopped, they'll rape the crew to death, eat their flesh, and sew their skin to their clothes. And if they're very very lucky, in that order.
She's starting to have a hard time time telling fiction from reality.

Allyson "Allister" Zoren |

Clearly we aren't rolling bad. Allyson is just distracted by Payn's bloodlust and can't focus on the Yutak. And, Allyson keeps positioning herself between Payn and the Yutak so she can't get a good look. lol
Also, I just realized. We rested a couple days so Allyson should be healed up. I'm updating my stats now.

Lukasz Alazario |

Not wanting to draw more attention than necessary to their group, Lukasz looked over the ivory and stated, "Seems a fair trade." Then, looking up at the one speaking for the Yutak group, he drew out the mithral and followed up with, "Do you have a practice for coming to agreement on such a trade? Admitedly, I don't have much experience in the practices of your people."

Lukasz Alazario |

Lukasz offered the mithral scrap as he took the ivory in exchange. If the exchange happened without incident, Lukasz nods his head and states, "It is done. May your hunting go smoothly." Though Lukasz looked calm, he was eager to have the men leave so they could get back to the mission at hand. More so since Payn's bloodlust seemed to be getting more difficult to contain.
