Julie Dei Vult
Perception: 20 + 11 = 31 Unless someone else figures out how to get through before her or the man has a trap in his pants, Julie will take her time rifling through the man's pockets. She might find some other trinket she might like.
Overlord Jon
Ellara was able to earth glide to the second door...but no further. While a hand or arm could squeeze through, it quickly became clear that metal bars ran through the rooms construction, probably for just this reason.
Julie found 380 gps, a signet ring and a locket. Only on examinging the locket did it show that it was, in fact, the key to the door, a shaft and head of the key unfolding once it was unlocked.
Overlord Jon
Julie and Little Sister quickly spot that another trap is there before you can even reach the acid-eaten hole. Spider web like thread runs between the wall. Little Sister's incorporeal state mean she didn't set it off.
Who remembered there ten foot poles?
Ellara of the Hundred Forms
If need be, Ellara can try to figure out where the trap is likely to be set off and burn the threads from afar. I'm happy to do it if anyone wants me to.
Overlord Jon
It turns out brute force and ignorance is not always the most effective answer. As the thread is cut it sizzles, a flash of pale green fire running along it's length and into the walls. Thankfully, the result is not a thunderous detonation. Less thankfully, a series of eldritch runes appear along the walls at your eye level, and more at what would be eye level for smaller creatures.
Julie Dei Vult
Julie blinks, and attempts to attack again until the place stops being magical.
Meh. Don't really have any options but brute force and ignorance unless someone who hasn't been speaking up wants to try to solve things.
Overlord Jon
As Karnelia and Kiyomi have guessed, eye level runes are not a good sign in a trapped corridor. Julie's continued attack means, however, that she gets to see what one does.
Wheel of Fun: 1d10 ⇒ 6
Julie feels an awful compulsion rising in her mind, the desire to laugh...and laugh...and laugh.
Can I have a DC 20 Will Save or enjoy the fun of Hideous Laughter, please?
Ellara of the Hundred Forms
"Ooh, fun." Ellara said, looking far too interested in the corridor. She did, however, take a moment to try and analyze the spells as Julie examined them.
Know Arcana (General analysis of this): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Overlord Jon
It is likely a variation of the Symbol of Laughter spell. However, there are plenty of different symbols on the walls, and there are plenty of other glyph and rune based spells...some with significantly more terminal results.
There purpose is clear - either you can risk setting them off or you can walk with your eyes closed. Either way, you risk stumbling into any further traps. Unless, of course, you can think of a third option...
Julie Dei Vult
Having finally recovered, Julie glanced around at how no one else had done anything the entire time she had been incapacitated. "Truly? Is everyone else helpless before the frightful runes? I'll do it myself."
Julie walks forward once more, closing her eyes to avoid the runes. She slashed her blade along the walls as she passed, hopefully destroying the runes for her compatriots to follow.
Overlord Jon
Sorry for the delay, had to take a short trip to hospital.
The scene would perhaps be comedic, if not for the fact you were standing in the midst of the destruction. With eyes closed dodging traps is not simple, a clear goal of the corridors designer. Tiles exploded with a roar, arrows fired from the walls, spells for force and lightning sizzled out.
But Julie destroying traps did help avoid some of them, and at least the glyphs were avoided. Direct damage was painful but eaier to deal with that the crippling effects.

What was left arrived at the doors, the last few feet being pleasantly trap free.
Julie Dei Vult
"... Ow." Julie plucked an arrow out of her side as she warily opened an eye to look at the door.
She channeled energy one last time for the day before attempting to open the door. Maybe the key worked on this one too?
Channel Energy: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5
Overlord Jon
The key did indeed work, opening a door to a plus seeming apartment. Well, once it had been once. Now it looked like a small bomb had gone off. The coach had been blown in half, and a table had been shattered into mostly matchsticks.
In the far corner of the room a young girl is standing, her teeth gritted as she generated a wall of force. The creature attacking her was an eight-foot tall armoured figure, the royal crest proud on it's chest and pauldrons. As you enter it pauses pounding on the barrier for a moment to turn and watch as you enter.
The girl also looks up in hope, but her face crumples as she sees who has entered.
Ellara of the Hundred Forms
Ellara let out a yelp of pain as she was hurt - but fell down to all fours as the door was open and a familiar figure was seen. She darted forward as she changed, then focused the enhanced power of her nose - the ability to Scent things - on the princess. That was one of the better ways of telling if somebody was actually who they appeared to be.
Overlord Jon
The huge figured turned to meet Julie as she charged. It raised a sword as large as some people in preparation.

Ellara, Little Sister, the Hand, Princess, Karnelia, Julie and Kiyomi.
"Little Sister"
Little Sister eyes the large construct in fright, unsure of how to react. In her incorporeal form, she nontheless hesitantly approaches, hoping her immaterial nature will protect her from the construct's strikes.
In her most natural-looking visage, with nothing but a mild neck scar, Little Sister looks to the princess with a hesitant smile. Your highness, I'm scared too, but my friends are here to help. her voice faintly echoes.
How old is the princess?
Ellara of the Hundred Forms
Ellara almost darted forward, but paused a moment before she could. A creature that big could probably smack her before she got close. Instead, she crouched down, then whipped around and sent a Forceful Blast its way. Something about it was making her think 'golem' - if it really did have that kind of resistance to magic, this was going to get more complicated.
(But not outside of her ability to deal with. She was quite confident in her shapechanging - and one way or another, she'd find something that would work.)

Late teens
With a sound of metal grinding on metal, the attacking creature moved towards Julie, lashing out with its long, heavy blade. Ellara's spell struck the monster, but if it especially noticed the impact it didn't give any sign, simply swinging. As the it blurred towards Julie, the blade shimmered and was engulfed with a magical force not disimilar to that which Ellara had thrown.
To Hit: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Destruction (Blugeoning): 3d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 2) = 11
However, the small figure behind the barrier whispered something, and the huge creature stumbled with a sound like a bull in an irons works, the sword swinging far and wide of its mark.

Defensive To Hit: 1d20 + 13 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 13 + 3 - 4 = 21 +3 from if the target counts as metal-ee. I think this is the case.
Slashing Damage: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (6, 6) + 5 = 17
Electrical Damage: 5d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 6, 6, 4) = 22
With this being her second encounter with a powerful lumbering brute in the last ten minutes, Julie again adopted a more defensive stance, albeit, with much more intent to kill than last time, lightning arcing from her blade and all around her as she struck.

Ellara's form twisted slightly as she exchanged some of her powers for something else - and frost arced around the edges of her jaws as she opened them and exhaled a long stream of deathly cold energy. The best part? It wasn't a spell, so it ought to be able to circumvent the golem's general resistance to magical energy.
