@Zain - yep it was the equipment. Now with the Cradle 2.0 you are 1ep over, drop one of these and you're good to go, Audio Recorder, Camera, Handcuffs, Lock Release Gun, Mini-tracer.

My herolab is actually coming out to 1 EP under(39 EP total from Recorder, Camera, Handcuffs, Lock Release Gun, Mini Tracer(all 1 each), Smartphone(2 EP), Motorcycle (10 EP), and The Cradle(22 EP)
Im not sure where I went wrong on either end(being over or under) if I'm over then I'll drop the camera(assuming the smartphone has a camera as apart of it?) if I am under then I will increase security on The Cradle by 1.

Complications-
Motivation: Thrills
While originally Jo became a thief in order to support herself and eventually support those around her she has since then obtained enough personal wealth to live comfortably while also keeping the shelter running at full capacity. As such Jo's primary motivation for thievery and just generally doing anything other than the day to day work of running the shelter is the thrill of it all, whether it is the excitement of planning a heist or the thrill of the chase when someone is pursuing her Jo really only feels 'alive' when she's in her suit doing her work.
Phobia: Capture
Despite how much she gets a thrill out being chased Jo is absolutely terrified of the concept of legitimately being caught and almost certainly imprisoned, being confined to a cell being just the tip of it all as she knows that once caught all of her work will likely crumble once her identity is found
Identity: Joanna Landon // The Cat
Because of how disastrous it might be for the world at large to know that Joanna Landon is also The Cat Jo takes great pains to keep her two identities separate, only members of her crew are aware of who The Cat is and even then only those that are known to be absolutely trustworthy.
Reputation: Criminal
The Cat is a fairly well known thief, having never been caught long enough for anyone to remove her mask it is almost certainly a major sour point for those who seek to uphold the law that The Cat is still active.
Responsibility: The Shelter
While she has her crew to handle the bulk of the work involving the shelter and the cradle there are still a few things that Joanna has to attend to personally when it comes to running a large scale homeless shelter.
Relationship: The Crew
Jo is fiercely loyal to her crew, especially the younger members and those who have been with her for a significant amount of time. They are the only people she can be truly herself around as far as she is concerned and she takes any threat against them very seriously.
Relationship: Anton Marlow
Anton is one of the people closest to Jo despite not being apart of the crew, they dated for a time but have since split but remain friends regardless. Anton is a cop and a frequent volunteer at the shelter when not working. Despite how close they have been Anton is unaware that Jo is The Cat.
(If anyone is interested or Xalbulba has someone in mind I'd be interested in taking the Rivalry complication with someone or perhaps just a general background of having come into conflict with them)

@Tenro - just tell me how much you want to up your str, for each str gain you'll lose 2 ranks from Close attack.
Edit; Your attack was fine, nothing too much. As a favor in your action descriptions make sure it's clear, when using multi-attack, if you're attacking one target, many or laying down cover. If you do it's easier to determine what attack bonus'/penalties/effects the attacks have.
@Zain - if no one on the team wants a rivaily I can figure something out.

Xabulba I will (perhaps foolishly and assuming I still can adjust) be pulling a point out of Will in order to take the Inventor advantage, forgot to adjust for that before since I wanted it in order to give Jo a means of creating a few quick pieces of tech when necessary and also as a good way of explaining future upgrades to her arsenal.
As a side note would it be fine if(so long as it does not come up) when we eventually obtain more points I sort of retroactively give Jo a few additional languages? I know which languages I want her to have but the points just aren't there(French, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish which will be 3 points) not sure how strict you intend to be on the way we progress with out point spending down the road.

so if i make the swap, I'll be going

if so, I don't want that, and will just wait for more lifting power at my next PL increase.

thanks for the info on the attack. i will specify more next time.
Reminder: i have the Improved Smash so hopefully that'll help me hit its gun.
When I do a multiattack, can i do the sunder (smash) and then if the item gets broken do the second attack on the enemy? If so, I'd like to do that with my first turn if the weapon is smashed from the first hit.

@Cat - I'm going to be lenient at first, I expect everyone will want to do some tweaking of characters during or after the first fight, but later on it'll take time or even a story to change. Go ahead and do the swap and we'll chalk up the languages to either very rusty and still learning them.
@Tenro - No changes, check. The "improved smash" at rank 1 gives a +2 power bonus against non-living objects. Later if you put another point into it you would get a +5 power bonus. Sorry I should have noticed this before; If you are attacking a single target with multi-attack you only attack once. If you hit you get a power bonus on the attack, the bonus depends on how well you hit. If you get 10 over what you need to hit you get a +2 power bonus, 15 or more a +5 power bonus.
You made two attacks and that's why I wondered how many you attacked but I f'ed up telling you your attack was fine, again sorry.

sorry I forgot to include the effect of the acid in the last post.
The acid progression is, vulnerable, defenseless, incapacitated.
with your roll you are only made vulnerable witch halves your defensive values.
Defenseless would have reduced you defenses to zero, incapacitated would have prevented you from taking any actions.
If or when you switch to your base form the regeneration power will eventually remove the vulnerable effect. Without the regeneration power it would take several hours for it to were off.

Sorry I fed up again. The acid only effects your active defenses,
ACTIVE DEFENSES
Dodge and Parry defenses require a measure of action to
be fully effective. Limits on your mobility, focus, and reaction
time adversely affect them. If you are vulnerable, your
Dodge and Parry defense ranks are halved (divide their
normal values by 2 and round up), and if you are defenseless,
they are both reduced to 0!
Your toughness is unaffected. You would only have a -1 and not staggered.

Cat went, she set up a distraction that redirected BBM2's attack against BBM5.

@Chris 114 - Don't forget to apply the -1 (now -2) to your resistance checks. The minuses represent how bruised and banged up you are. They only apply to resistance checks not your attacks or saves.

posting this in all 28 of my games (although some of them are dead, i am pretty sure... and others are quite slow so my absence will not be missed overmuch):
There are two hurricanes heading for Hawaii, where I live. One is supposed to land on Friday after being downgraded to a tropical depression, the other is supposed to land Sunday with experts unsure as to how much it'll be downgraded after colliding with the mountains.
I'm sure everything will be fine, so no need to worry. People are freaking out for some reason, but I remain in a state of relative readiness.
I anticipate a loss of internet, at a minimum (they can barely keep it together under optimal conditions). Likely loss of power as well. A time without electricity could last anywhere from four days to four months (with some time around one to two weeks being more realistic).
I'll be on between now and then, but if i just disappear, check the news, hahaha.

Hey Cat, I think we are waiting on you to take an action. The Hero point takes no action generally, so you can still bust some heads... or deactivate some tech or whatever.
As long as whatever you do is not "Strangling the meat spider"... I don't think anyone could handle that.
