"What do you mean 'lead the way'? Dockway is over there and Beacons point is behind that in the same direction. I need you to ask around where the widow Liza Jane Brast, former wife of Lockerby Brast lives."
Tauriell replies.

Walking along while Niamh asks people Tauriell looks here and there for a shop or a sales booth having some nice clothes. Finally she sees Officer Kasadei in a tailors shop buying a new officer's jacket.
She walks in greets officer Kasadei and asks the tailor "I'd like to have a shirt like she has." pointing to the officer.

Niamh asks every single person she encounters on the street until she finally stumbles upon an old woman who vividly remembers the two. "Aaah, yes. Liza Jane and Lockerbie Brast. What a wonderful couple they were. And what a tragedy that he didn't come back from the sea."
"You know three years ago they married. A lovely couple. He was a fisher and she had a job as a waitress in the restaurant, the Salted Herring I think ....
half an hour later
... and now she lives with her child in a small house in Main Street down here. Just next to the Bronze House of the Aspis consortium. You can't miss it."

The tailor is a bit uncomfortable selling this special kind of shirts to people that are not officers of the garrison. Especially while an officer stands at his counter. "These are for officers only." he replies to Tauriell.
"I could get you a job in the garrison but it would take some time until you might get promoted to officer." Kasadei jokes before she counts out the coins for her purchase and then leaves the shop with her new jacket.

Mrs. Heidmarch nods at Jimmy and Gwenhwyfar and goes back into the Manor House.
Shortly after that Margaret comes out of the door again and hurries to reach Gwenhwyfar. "Miss Yongisdottor! Please wait for me."
Once close she explains "Mrs. Heidmarch told me yesterday that I should ask you to have an eye on the halfling woman that is with you. She insinuated that she would do some alterations to the guest house and Mrs. Heidmarch doesn't approve on that."
Tauriell
Tauriell pays and leaves the shop with the new shirt. Once outside she rips off her wet blouse and puts on the shirt. "Now that is a fine quality."
She looks where Niam is. But between all these big people she doesn't see her.
Niamh Mugin
As Niamh sees Tauriell her face brightens up and she runs to her. "Tauriell! There you are! You know, Lockerbie and Liza Jane were such a lovely couple..." Niamh says imitating the voice of the old woman. "She says that in almost every second sentence. But, I know the way now." She leads the way to the Main Street.
Tauriell
"If you like it." Tauriell replies.
She walks to the Manor house but as there is none of her stuff she continues to the guest house.
In the common room of the house she finds all the stuff Jimmy carried here on the table. "Hi all." Tauriell greets Jimmy, Gwenhwyfar and Abomentolor.
She opens the blanket and sorts through all the stuff. It's clothes ranging from rags to a noble dress. She puts them on one heap on a chair. Some mundane stuff like a pipe, some daggers, pouches, letters or bills she puts in one corner of the table. And thousands of coins she puts on a pile in the center of the table. 1997cp and 1354sp
The alchemical lab she builds from the parts in the blanket and the rest from her backpack on the head of the table. Finally she puts the pouch with 232gp on the table.
Rummaging through her backpack she finds the pouch with the 98 Tassilonian gold coins. She holds it in her hand looking at it. She puts it down on the table with the other coins.
"The Alchemists lab was from the derro, the coins here are also thassilonian. The rest is probably stolen from the derros victims." she says to no one in particular. And to Gwenhwyfar she adds "You decide what we do with that. When you've done that tell me what my share is."
She walks over to the kitchen searching through the provisions. "Damn. We still didn't bring the whiskey from the Crow."
Abomentolor Goblinburner
Abomentolor takes care of ordering the rest. He casts detect magic to find and identify the interesting parts on the table.
Spellcraft Lens: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Spellcraft Wand: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Spellcraft Headband: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Spellcraft Potion CMW: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Spellcraft Potion CMW: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Spellcraft Potion Invis.: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
But he only manages to identify two of the potions. Frustrated his head turns red with anger about him being unable to identify that.
"Such a b~@&%*!!. Why can't they label that stuff so I won't have to guess around what it is."
Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir
"Let me help you." Gwenhwyfar tells Abomentolor and casting detect magic too she checks on the items.
Spellcraft Lens: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Spellcraft Wand: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
Spellcraft Headband: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Spellcraft Potion CMW: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20
Spellcraft Scarab: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
"This is a wand of spiritual weapon, a headband of vast intelligence, a scarab of golem detection and a potion of cure light wounds. But this lens I don't know." she explains.
Tauriell
"With you moping around here I immediately have an idea who needs some more intelligence. But besides that at least two people come to mind who could actually put that thing to good use." Tauriell retorts.
Tauriell
"That would be me for it helps with my knowledge and obviously Gwenhwyfar to improve her casting abilities." Tauriell replies. "Maybe you also have some hidden talents that would benefit from it?"
Tauriell
"All who do so draw their magic from some external power like a god or even nature in case of a druid. You got thrown out of the temple for not doing that."
"And in my opinion you also don't cast on your charisma like or little fiery gnome friend or our beloved bard do. Because none of them prepare their spells in advance."
"That would leave you to be some strange kind of wizard that has a special cat familiar instead of a spell book. I still have no idea what exactly you are but I'd bet you a 100 gold every day that your casting depends on your intelligence." Tauriell explains herself.
Tauriell
"You like your girl dumb?" Tauriell teases Jimmy. "How about we try to increase her intelligence instead. If you increase it enough she would be able to cast more spells per day."
Tauriell
"I admit that my approach has the drawback to be really expensive if this headband isn't enough to show an effect. But if it does we could know tomorrow." Tauriell replies.
"Dumbing Gwen down enough would possibly lead to her not being able to cast at all in an instant. But even if it is only temporary I guess loosing your mental abilities is no nice experience."
Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir
"This is a depressing topic. Lets talk abou something different." Gwenhwyfat suggests.
"What do all of you think about all this stuff here. I think there are three options."
"First - we keep it."
"Second - we find the righteous owners"
"Third - we give it to charity. Like a church dedicated to help those in need."
"Some of those righteous owners we already know. But I guess we won't find all of them." Gwenhwyfar tells.
