"Jimmy, just take the silver sword there on the ground and behead that thing." Tauriell suggests.
The little devil tries to evade from this unfortunate position and his doom.
Niamh shouts. And to the grappled thing she says "Would you please describe the other guy?"
"They try to kill me here and you ask me what? How about you stop them from killing me first." the little devil replies in panic.
"Do you see me passing her the sword yet?"
"I guess I could do that. But if I am the president I don't have to help you, right? And before I don't have to help you either." Niamh tells him. "And I can not kill someone I don't even know how he looks like. I guess it is a he? Or is it a she? Can he or she be invisible too? Oh" Niamh stops for breathing.
"Are you two seriously arguing with a devil? Less talking and more stabbing please. Gwenhwyfar, would you please explain your spouse what paladins are supposed to do with devils?" Tauriell replies desperately.
The imp flails around with it's tail trying to hit the elf.
Gwenhwyfar pick up the sword and starts stabbing the imp.
With Gwenhwyfar doing her best it will nevertheless be a slow and painful death for that imp that screams and begs for mercy. "Please don't kill me. I do everything you want. I'll give you all my riches and you can become the ruler of Little Erebus. But please stop stabbing me."
Tauriell stems her weight on that tiny creature to make sure it goes nowere.
Gwenhwyfar keeps up the work with the sword.
"What other monstrosities live down here? Answer me properly and I will make sure your death is at least quick from this point on."
Jimmy tries to detect evil on the thing
The imp makes a last try to escape from Tauriell
but fails.
Gwenhwyfar again stabs the imp.
The imp comes ever closer to it's end as Tauriell and Gwenhwyfar notice that the cuts made just a few seconds before are already healing again. "Argh. The evil devils of Lord Baz and himself are down here. But dying fast isn't really better. How about not dying?"
"Stop talking and start dying already" Tauriell suggests as she holds it down.
Gwenhwyfar continues to stab it.
"Give me the sword please my dear." Jimmy says standing up and holding out a hand for it
The devil falls unconscious and stops talking. But it is still healing at an alarming rate.
Tauriell grabs the sword out of Gwenhwyfar's hands and works on bringing an end to that.
She then checks if the healing stops.
Cut to pieces the imp lies on the floor. No more healing takes place.
"I wonder why you insist on talking to such a creature." Tauriell asks putting he sword away. "You think you're a match for these lying and deceiving things?"
"Because it is the first thing we have seen down here capable of actually possibly providing some clue as to what other horrible monstrosities could be down here. I was going to kill it, but only after it had given us some information, even if it was a lie it would be more than we have now."
"What we know is that there is a Lord Baz here somewhere. It is either stronger than this one here or has more minions. And that two of this devils minions are held prisoner from this Lord Baz."
"And he called him an evil devil. Congratulation we are in a bad neighbourhood where hell rented a basement. Abomentolor's fire is useless and the only weapon really hurting these things is my sword. If you wanted to get a map from him you could just try and search him or his room."
The Suzerain carried an old leather bag that holds 117 sp and a scroll of animate dead.
Tauriell empties the bag on the floor. "Sorry no map here."
"But you are the strong guy. You catch the next one and make sure it goes nowhere and you can ask it whatever and how long you want."
"That little thing wasn't giving you any issue. You could have kept it pinned for ages." Jimmy says, adding, "But you are right that we actually do have quite a bit of information for now."
Tauriell is annoyed by the 'different assessment' of the situation by Jimmy but gives it a pass. "So what are we going to do with our information? You might ignore that normal weapons have a hard time to damage them. Once your ranseur comes out on the other side it doesn't matter that much."
"But I guess Abomentolor here is not happy about being useless. And I'm running out of arrows. Not that they would be helpful here."
Gwenhwyfar lays her hand on Jimmy's shoulder and heals him.
"Your health is nothing to bargain to stretch out our resources."
"I'm not useless!" Abomentolor protests "I still can make the campfire!" he mutters to himself.
"Well know we know we are going to be fighting devils and demons we can go get some more efficient weapons."
"And by get you mean buy, right? Like in Magnimar." Tauriell asks.
Gwenhwyfar suddenly freezes as if hit by lightning. After a moment she spurs to action searching through her backpack. Finding what she searched she annonces "I have this fine silver dagger we found in he paradox box."
"That is certainly useful, perhaps give that to Abomentolor? I am fine with the ranseur, as Tauriell says resistance does little when the thing is sticking through you, and she has her mithral sword."
"I say we send Carl and Ernard to the bazar to simply buy some light crossbow for me and Gwenhwyfar and some silver bolts and we're set." Abomentolor says. He is obviously not fond of using the boat himself more often than absolutely necessary.
"What shall I do with this clumsy dagger made for you big guys" Abomentolor replies.
"So you're basically saying that we're fine and should proceed? Then onward I guess." Tauriell says shrugging.
She picks up her elven curved blade and stows it away. Then she walks down the corridor.
Some meters down the corridor there is a branch to the left. Out of this come two more of these fat lemures step in the way and mindlessly come towards Tariell to attack her.
"Hey Abomentolor. Make yourself useful and play my flanking buddy."
"Why not. Before I'm bored to death." He walks towards Tauriell and with the wand casts Magic Armor on himself.
Gwenhwyfar storms forward to help Tauriell by stabbing her dagger into the other abomination.
But fails to do so.
The lemures attack the two ladies standing before them.

But they don't hit anyone.
Tauriell moves into a flanking position with Gwenhwyfar as Abomentolor on his short legs will need some more time to arrive.
Once there she stabs the creature again.
Abomentolor raises his arms "Hey. That's unfair. Now you take away even this small opportunity to help." He walks closer to watch how the girls finish these fiends.
The one stabbed by Tauriell drops to the floor. The remaining devil claws as Gwenhwyfar again.
"Ewww! It has touched me." Gwenhwyfar says disgusted.
She then tries to stab that thing.
