After the nice breakfast Abomentolor asks Gwenhwyfar "Would you fix me up now? I'm feeling a bit better, but still far from good."
Abomentolor Goblinburner
Abomentolor gulps visibly "Please not. All I do is fire. What I can do to burn an enemy the inhabitants of hell see as comfortable warmth."
Tauriell
"Oh you mean me?" Tauriell asks playing surprised. "I don't think so." she says and with a maleficent expression she adds "I didn't get the invitation for my 'welcome back' party. They open the doors to catch cute small violin playing halflings. Mwuahahaha!"
Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir
"Not so fast." Gwenhwyfar stops the enthusiasm of Niamh. She hands Jimmy a bun and the waterskin. Then she starts packing him into his plate mail.
Some time later after tightening the last knot she says "Now we are ready to go."

The stairs lead down into a hallway that ends at a door. The door is unlocked and opens into an octagonal room. A red statue of a beautiful woman armed with a large ranseur stands in the center of this chamber. Slime cakes the floor.
A large monstrosity that looks like a 10ft long fat maggot creeps around the statue.

Tauriell moves in with a charge to slice this abomination up. Shooting with a bow won't work anyway from the crowded position she starts.

"I have no idea. But I imagine that an ugly and huge insect would come out of this maggot." Tauriell says
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
"But take a look at that statue. It looks like it got a real ranseur."

Knowledge(Planes): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
"I don't want to tell you're wrong but I think that this is an abyssal larva. And it would become some demon or qlippoth no insect." Gwenhwyfar replies a bit unsure if she is right.
To avoid becoming the focus of a discussion she starts making notes and crafts a drawing of the statue and the larva.
Tauriell
Tauriell takes a closer look at the ranseur. "It is a rather nice piece of work." Checking at the hand holding it and trying if it moves she finally attempts to pull it out of the hand.

But finally the marble lady's grip on the shaft gives away the weapon. Tauriell tries out the weapon on the dead maggot.

Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 2) + 4 = 10
Pulling it out again and weighing it in her hand she says "Not bad. But it's more heavy than I really like. But I think it is better than your spear. What do you think?" Tauriell asks Jimmy.
Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir
"There are people who don't fight them, but summon them. The book I saw was one about that. A paladin had taken it from an evil wizard." Gwenhwyfar explains. "But I hope we will face neither such a wizard nor the demons."
