Does anyone have an opinion on what to do with Adaxis? I'm tempted to cut him and pretend he was never here. I don't really like the idea of NPCing him through the entire module.

Not sure I really see a choice, even though I'm loathe to leave someone behind in a series like this.

I would hate to lose him If allowed I will gladly bot him until he returns.
I haven't PMed him but he hasn't posted in any of his games in the past week.
I appreciate it Zandu but you botting him for the length of the scenario is only slightly better than me doing it.

The bone guys are currently visible. You can't see them but assuming Mother Magda is yelling for help or something you're aware they're out there.

so seems like we are in a pickle I think I have a plan. first I will spend two move actions to open the door (so that magda can 5ft through.) then hopefully yall can blast at least one of them to hell so magda survives until her round.

You can't just open them. They're frozen shut. You need to either smash them open with damage or make a highish strength check as a standard to kick them open.

I sent Adaxis a PM and left him a message in one of his other games he was posting regularly in. If he doesn't respond or show up by tomorrow it will have been a week with no answer and I'll be dropping him.

How is Mousebane getting favored enemy on his attacks? Adaxis doesn't have enough ranger levels to have hunter's bond.
Quote: At 4th level, a ranger forms a bond with his hunting companions. This bond can take one of two forms. Once the form is chosen, it cannot be changed. The first is a bond to his companions. This bond allows him to spend a move action to grant half his favored enemy bonus against a single target of the appropriate type to all allies within 30 feet who can see or hear him. This bonus lasts for a number of rounds equal to the ranger's Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). This bonus does not stack with any favored enemy bonuses possessed by his allies; they use whichever bonus is higher.
The second option is to form a close bond with an animal companion. A ranger who selects an animal companion can choose from the following list: badger, bird, camel, cat (small), dire rat, dog, horse, pony, snake (viper or constrictor), or wolf. If the campaign takes place wholly or partly in an aquatic environment, the ranger may choose a shark instead. This animal is a loyal companion that accompanies the ranger on his adventures as appropriate for its kind. A ranger's animal companion shares his favored enemy and favored terrain bonuses.
Ultimate Combat, ranger archetype Falconer wrote: Feathered Companion (Ex): At 1st level, a falconer earns the trust and companionship of a bird of prey. The bird can be of any type of large hunting or scavenging bird (even a vulture). This ability functions like the druid animal companion ability (which is part of the nature bond class feature), but the falconer must take the bird animal companion, and that companion has only half the normal hit points. I level dipped into Trapper and Falconer.
Right I understand that part. Nothing about Feathered Companion lets your animal companions benefit from favored enemy.

With Mother gone I am going to rechange my spell selection back more to summoning and invisibility with fewer direct damage spells
Is there any way we could pick up the pace guys? The other EotT table I'm running just finished this book. I'd like to keep you guys at roughly the same place.

I am retraining feat Desparate Battler to Divine Interference for 5 PP and 600 gp. Selling small eagle chain shirt +1 for 675 gp. Purchasing elven chain +2 for eagle at 9300 gp and Stoneskin component at 250 gp.
Work is less crazy after recent company sale. My posting frequency should be improved.

You know, I have Divine Interference right now, and I feel like I rarely have a chance to use it. I was considering retraining it out for Greater Spell Focus or something like that.
