Xiao hops down from the wall and attempts to assist Senketsu.

Nodding to Xiao for the momentary distraction, Senketsu leans back with Yurei as the Wolf once more avoids the Clawing hand wreathed in dark energy. Using the momentum, the Wayang feints low before striking with a deep cut.

With a growl, Yurei keeps up their ferocious assault on the bound Necromancer, blood staining their snow white maw.

bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 for damage: 1d6 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 1 = 11

And trip: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

miss chance, 21+: 1d100 ⇒ 28

Ashara sighs:"If you are going to be so difficult about this..." she mumbles before touching Senketsu and imparting the Wayang with power.

Used 2 of Ashara's 3 remaining channels to give Seketsu Bane(humanoid-goblinoid) for 2 rounds. Use the power wisely!!! :P

Meanwhile the eagles swoop on the remaining elemental...

Ondir yells and whacks the elemental again! Whack!: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 for 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3 damage with a Miss chance, 1-20 misses: 1d100 ⇒ 84

It is truly remarkable how badly we are rolling in this fight.

Kelumur, if you step back you'll have total concealment (50%) miss chance.

Ashara's elementals finish off the last elemental but, even caught in Xiao's net, the party's attacks fail to harm the bloodied necromancer.

Alone now, Telda battles to the end!

I think that finally hits. Yurei also gains bleed 2. This will continue each round until he gets a heal check (DC 15) or some kind of healing magic. The party is up.

Gbagbe scrambles along the wall to where he can see the hobgoblin through the mist, then hurls another wayward chunk of mud-covered bone at their foe!

Xiao continues to assist Senketsu against the hobgoblin. (or not)

Ashara touches Senketsu wolf sending a wave of positive energy through the beast's frame.

That does hit, so using a reaction for Mounted combat

Seeing the dark claw about to strike Yurei, Senketsu hauls on the reins attached to the Wolf's saddle to try and guide them out of harm's way. Unfortunately, they just don't manage the feat and Yurei gives a howl in pain.

Frightened for their companion, Senketsu strikes out with a vicious swing, Ancestor's voices whispering in their mind, before ordering Yurei to continue their attack.

"Ashara, this will be indebted if you can Save my friend!" they say as the Cleric runs her healing over Yurei

Growling in pain from the wicked touch, Yurei continues to attack the Hobgoblin before they can hurt them again.

Silly me, I guess that both missed then.

Kelumur notes his inability to do anything useful and attempts to help the wolf.

Sorry, I was hoping that others would leave the flanking spot with Xiao open for you.

Close enough.

Bolstered by Ashara's magic Senketsu puts an end to the foul necromancer, driving their blade deep into her side a second time - this time piercing her heart. The hobgoblin sneers in hatred at the party one last time before falling to the ground in a bloody heap, dead.

Encounter over. All that's left is the wrap up. I'll get the game reported and chronicles out later tonight.

Breathing heavily as their temporarily enchanted blade cuts deep into the Hobgoblin, Senketsu's face drops as the Necromancer falls. They had completed a valiant task here to be sure, but taking life was never easy on the Wayang. Shakig their head to clear such gloomy thoughts, Senkeysu bows low in the saddle to Ashara and then their companions.

"This one is eternally grateful to Lady Ashara for Yurei's health. Also, my thanks to you all for being companions this one can rely on. Leaving this place and ensuring our caravan is still there will be good." they say softly, waiting for the others to search.

Wiping the sweat off his brow, Kelumur sighs gratefully at the sight of the fallen Necromancer. He turns then to picking up his weapons."That should take care of that for a while. Anyone hurt?"

Ondir shakes his head. "I'm fine! So this woman was responsible for all the trouble? Sad, sad, sad."

"Phew!" Gbagbe exclaims, "She wasn't nice at all! And I could barely see anything through that stupid mist! But I'm glad everyone's okay."

He climbs down the wall as the mist clears and moves to take a closer look at the undead elemental bits, then the fallen hobgoblin leader, before agreeing with Seknetsu, "Yeah, I guess you're right, we should get back to the, um, thing with horses, make sure they're okay."

Ashara smiles at Senketsu bowing her head:"I'm grateful for your help and Yūrei's too. And the others of course. This... creature, was killing innocent travellers then turning them into undead, probably to build an army. We did a great thing here today. Be proud! Under that light, even allowing that despicable Karela's to continue with his trafficking seems like a smaller price to pay..."

Returning to the hidden camp site, the party finds the caravan safe and sound. You're greeted with a hot meal as everyone prepares to get some much needed rest.

The rest of the journey proceeds smoothly and the caravan reaches Druma safely.

With Telda and her cult defeated, the party has managed to eliminate at least one of Isger’s numerous internal threats. Not much later, the Sczarni reports to the Society that the remaining undead let loose by Telda have been dealt with. Soon thereafter, the Sczarni begin to move goods, refugees, and Society secrets through the Chitterwood with renewed fervor.
