No problem, Lianna. Thank you for making a submission. I'm just waking up so I'll take a look at it here in a bit and give you some feedback!

EDIT: You forgot the backslash to close your weapons spoiler btw. And Saves.

Lianna:
Can you tell me a little bit more about Lianna's personality? How does she approach a problem? How does she view people? Etc.

DM Twilight:
Thanks! Yeah I have put a lot of time into her, she's very fleshed out in my head. If you are worried about the investigator class I can change her to a rogue with the investigator archetype, but I do feel inclined to mention Investigator is one of the ACG classes that is combat weak, so I doubt it will feel overpowered like a well played magus or summoner.

Aeyra:
I spoke to one of the other players about the matter as well, and he's seen your post. He agrees that we would prefer rouge with the investigator archetype, if you are willing to make those changes. Thank you.

I think I fixed the spoiler blocks for my character.

DM Twilight:
Admittedly I have a perfect idea of her personality in my head...now I have to figure out how to describe it. She seems to be kind of disconnected from other people which comes from being ostracized as she was in Valenar. Being inundated with stories of noble heroes that she felt she could never life up to she just gave up on trying to be 'noble' and she thinks that people who do are easily manipulated idiots. As far as problem solving goes she knows what she's good at and tends not to deviate far from it because she's utterly convinced that her way is the right way to go about things. At this point it mostly surmounts to "If I can't manipulate it, I'll just freeze it and decide on whether or not to shatter it."

Thank you, that does help to give me a glimmer of how her mind works!

DM Twilight:
If you've read the Dresden Files at all, think a young Leanansidhe with a chip on her shoulder.

DM Twilight:
Shame, I really liked the class. Aeyra's fluff should not change at all, only her crunch. Do you care if I simply leave her as is until character selection, then I could update her to a rogue is she's chosen? Different DM's are more or less picky about seeing specific crunch before character selection.

Lianna:
I actually haven't read the books yet. I watched the show years ago, but don't recall much about it to be honest. I get what you mean, though.

Aeyra:
That's fine. Sorry to make things less fun for you!

I really love Eberron, so I'll try to get a submission together ASAP.

Ability rolls:
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 3, 6) = 21 18
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 1, 5) = 14 13
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 6, 1) = 13 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 5) = 17 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 1, 5) = 16 15
4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 5) = 16 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 6, 2) = 11 10
Dropping the 10 it's a spread of 18, 15, 14, 14, 13, 12.

I'm torn between a Valenar elf ranger or oracle of the ancestors. One question: Would you consider this following change (from the Races of Eberron book)?

Valenar Elf Traits wrote:
Elves from Valenar receive the Martial Weapon Proficiency feats for the shortbow (including composite shortbow), scimitar, and Valenar double scimitar. For Valenar elves, this trait replaces the elf weapon proficiency racial trait described in the Player’s Handbook.

One of the forum members that made an almost-complete Eberron conversion suggests this alternate racial trait:

Quote:
Weapons of Valenar: Elves with this racial trait are proficient with scimitars, falchions, longbows (including composite longbows) and shortbows (including composite shortbows). They treat double scimitars, as well as any ranged weapon with "elven" in its name, as martial weapons. This racial trait replaces Weapon Familiarity.

Would you consider allowing any of those?

Rune:
tzimine's conversion is the preferred. I don't particularly mind, because I don't think it will affect anything else game play wise.

OK, I think it's about time to wrap this up. Thank you all for your time and creative energy! As well, thank you for your patience with me. The following are those that have been chosen:

Blaze
Akasha
Aeyra
Lianna

For those of you who have been chosen, please be sure to make any last purchase such as identification papers or travel goods that you might need. Make any final changes to your character, make sure everything is accurate. Aeyra, please go ahead and make your conversion to rogue.

It will most likely be tomorrow that I make the initial post for the game, at which point I will send each of you a message with the link. It might be tonight, but that's unlikely as I have a pretty full day today.

For those of you who were not chosen, thank you for taking the time to apply. There were some really excellent submissions. Should something occur where we loose a player, I will come back to this thread to look for replacements.

I'm just gonna remind everybody that Silian and Vannevar are in the party as well, since Twi hates us and doesn't think we are worth mentioning :D

Grand Lodge

Identification papers? and do we just use the average starting gold or do we roll for it? And where do we do so?

Yeah Ebberon society makes use of Identification Papers as a personal travel document. Think a passport/ ID

Thanks, Akasha. You'll roll for your starting wealth, Lianna, and that is based on your class. You can find a chart here.

Also I just woke up about 20 minutes or so ago. I'll be working on the opening thread in an hour or so after I dump enough caffeine into my system to feel coherent.

Slightly busy with holiday stuff, but thanks for the pick and I'll get around to getting Aeyra changed up!

It appears we have lost our warforged cleric and would like to replace him. We'll make a final selection no later than Saturday night. If anyone is interested, please submit a character here! If you've already submitted a character, tell me your still interested and I'll review your submission.

I am looking for 2-4 more players for an Eberron module (Fallen Angel) that I will be starting in the next couple of days. I currently have two male characters lined up, and would like to see at least one female character in the mix. I have a druid and a fighter. I need an arcane and/or divine caster. Please be familiar with the Eberron setting, races, and rules before applying. Thank you!

This will be with Pathfinder as the base rules. Roll stats, 4d6 drop the lowest, 7 times drop the lowest set. Roll for wealth based on class. Starting level 1.

Note: I am new to DMing so I will require patience and may make a few mistakes :)

I'm just saying hi for the other gamers

Be sure to complete your sheet fully for submission. Skills, equipment, etc.

4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 6, 1) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 4, 4) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 2) = 13

4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 6, 1) = 15

I would like to join and need some information when a chance is available please get back to me

Hey Bosramir, sorry I hadn't checked the thread yesterday. Someone was chosen to fill that particular position, but I am always accepting applications in case we loose someone else or decide we need a bigger group. What questions can I answer for you? With this site in particular, you in order to create a new alias for your character (unless you want to use Bosramir as the character) you would click on "My Account" and scroll down to the box that lists your aliases. Click on Create a New Alias, and then fill in the name, choose a picture etc. If you are keeping this as your alias, you would click on your name and then click "edit profile". There are several fields that have specific purposes, such as race and age, and then one large field for a description. Fill in those things that are named in the specific fields there, and then everything else in the large description field. Beneath the text boxes, and beneath the "preview" and "submit" buttons is a box that says "How to format your text". That will show you how to create "spoilers" so that you can separate out blocks of text, with specific headings so that once you submit, everything will be hidden behind it's own spoiler button. That is, of course optional, but preferred. Does this clear up your questions?

I am disappointed that the position has been filled but if you need some one new I would be more hen happy to jump into the game. Yes that did help clear up some questions I had and will be looking to edit my character for future games. Please keep me in mind for up coming games!!!

Also if you need anouther position like cleric or anything of the sort I will be happy to fill in

5d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 1, 1, 1) = 8 x10

So 80 starting wealth

We are currently looking to fill a slot, we are looking specifically for a Warforged character. We lost our Warforged early on, and although he was replaced with a different character, some of the group and I thought it would be really nice to have a Warforged in the group.

If anyone wants to make a submission for a Warforged, Pathfinder rules in an Eberron setting please post your character here.

I've got this guy that I could rebuild first level and tweak his background. He would be the perfect fit style-wise since he is a warforged cleric. I am a huge fan of Eberron and have read all of the books.

stats: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 1) = 10
stats: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 5, 4) = 15
stats: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6, 1) = 15
stats: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 1, 4) = 11
stats: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 5, 4) = 17
stats: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 1, 5) = 10
stats: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3, 4) = 17

9, 14, 14, 10, 14, 9, 14

Alas...decent point buy (19), but with the ability modifier for the warforged these rolls would seem nearly unplayable :(

I'd still love to be in the game if you like my concept. Would you be willing to work with me?

Would you just let me use Blaze's stats or take the average point buy of the players?

Edit: The average point buy for the group is 28.875 and they had the advantage of picking the race that best enhanced their class.

Let me run it by the other players, see what they have to say.

He is built as an evangelist cleric of Olladra. He has inspire courage and can stand his own in melee as well as buff his companions through bless and performance.

Let me know if this works with the group and I will rewrite his background to put him where he needs to be. He is neutral and trying to find his place in the world. His default mode is service to the group he has been assigned to.

I read a lot of the game play thread. I could also roll a warforged rogue or archaeologist bard character if the party would rather have a scout and is willing to work with stats.

Triage, I just sent you a PM!

What do you guys think of this avatar and crunch?

Crunch is in the profile.

I'll rewrite his background as if something went terribly wrong in the forge due to tampering with the process. Demise had been created in the "caster forge". This time though the men experimented with adding necromance forms of magic including a scorpion as a spell component. The result was a black warforged creature with red glowing eyes. His head resembled a skull.

I'd be interested. Let me know what's your timeline for submission.

Recruitment is open until otherwise specified. I don't want to put a specific timeline on it, a choice will be made when that special one stands out!

What conversion do you use for Pathfinder warforged?

Stats:

4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 1, 5) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 1, 2) = 5
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 3) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 1, 6) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 4, 4) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 4, 2) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 5, 1) = 12

Soooo, it seems I face a similar situation. Can you also PM me about solutions?

Sovereign Court

4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 4, 6) = 17 = 16
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 2, 6) = 13 = 11
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1, 4) = 15 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2, 5) = 16 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 5, 1) = 9 = 8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 6) = 18 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 5, 5) = 19 = 16

So, 11, 14, 14, 14, 16, 16.

I think that I will put together a Warforged Alchemist (Chirurgeon/Internal Alchemist/Vivisectionist, so that he can do *some* healing) :-)

3d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 5) = 12*10 = 120gp

Str 16
Dex 14
Con 16 + 2 = 18
Int 14 + 2 = 16
Wis 14
Cha 11 - 2 = 9

@Dreaming Warforged we're using the Tzizimine conversion.

I'll go ahead and write this here so that others can see it too: I will allow you to reroll your stats once, if you choose to reroll, you must take the second set, even if it's worse.

Because I'm new as a DM and Eberron I'm going to ask that you narrow down your class a bit more and not use more than one archetype so as to make things more simple for me! Have mercy!

Changed Demise's languages in his crunch. Would Deep Speech and Daelkyr be the same language in your campaign?

I have added a background to my profile. It can be tweaked as needed to better match the campaign.

Please let me know if I have missed anything and thank you for the opportunity to apply! MM

I'm an old hand at eberron, if your party if looking for something in particular I can build to that. Otherwise I'm up for building either a fighter or magus.

Can anyone tell me where a conversion to pathfinder is?

We're actually OK on frontline fighters atm, could use more support members. Healing is a plus, but not dire.

Grand Lodge

I can work with that... Lets see what the dice say:

4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 6, 2) = 15 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 4, 4) = 15 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 1, 5) = 13 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 2, 3) = 11 = 9
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 5, 3) = 16 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 5, 3) = 18 = 16
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 5, 4) = 14 = 12

14, 12, 12, 9, 13, 16, 12 hmm a well rounded set
