Akasha's blade misses the dog, cutting through the air in front of him.

Balthazar pulls what you've come to recognize as his mutagen flask from his pocket and drinks it down.

Vannevar furls his brow, displeased that the halfling has put herself between him and the enemy. In a dry tone he says, "It is kind of you, young halfling, to act as my personal shield but it does make it rather difficult to stab the beast. I suppose I shall use my crossbow instead."

Taking aim with his crossbow, and releases the trigger but something in the crossbow jams and snaps the bolt.

A quick flip of her head puts her hunting mask onto her face. She smiles at the fight ahead. Pulling back her mace she slamming it into the blink dog with surprising force.

I prefer to have damage rolled twice as described here. The hit was not a successful critical hit, unfortunately. Good roll though!

Xing's mace smashes into the dogs side with an audible crunch, Seth yelps but remains on his feet.

Lianna's elemental ray strikes the side of the dog knocking it back a step (crit not confirmed) and a fraction of a second later Silian's arrow thunks into the same spot.

Seth growls and lunges at Xing, snapping his teeth into empty air.

You know what, I'm glad you just said that and reminded me it was touch AC and not regular, it is a crit confirmed. I know you even wrote touch on your attack it just didn't register, so sorry!

Vannevar reloads his crossbow and shoots at Seth once more, and the bolt slams into the dog sticking out of it's ribs.

Ok, no one else seems to have any input so Ayumi takes the lead guiding the group down passed Balthazar. Ayumi and Balthazar please roll perception.

Balthazar reaches out and puts a hand on Ayumi's arm, signalling her to stop and motioning to the others to do the same. He indicates that he hears something on the other side of the turn.

Discuss strategy or move forward with a surprise round? Waiting to talk about it gives the enemy a chance to detect your presence, losing the surprise aspect.
