Jeremiah unsuccessfully chokes back a laugh, and should he catch Esmeralda's eye, gives her an amused shrug. "No, there weren't any coups while you were away, Miss Andoran." Still chuckling, Jeremiah leans back in his chair. "Not looking to convert you lass, but if Desna's guiding you to protect the locals from banditry, as far as I'm concerned, we're on the same side. When we start planning the defense, I'll hear you just as well as I do myself."

As morning comes and the sun rises above the horizon, you are able to find your positions.

The gate faces to the south, upon entering a small bunkhouse rests in the right corner of the interior. To the left is a stable large enough to fit 10 mounts, in the far right corner lies a small home and office structure. Between the the home and bunkhouse are a set of tables for meals and a fire pit. Directly ahead upon entering is a storage shed containing furs and trade goods, behind the shed and slightly to the left are a set of three midden heaps and various refuse.
A wooden walkway along the palisades connect all four towers except at the gate. The gate bears a large wooden log above in which 'Oleg's Trading Post' is carved. The gate is made of stout timbers. The gate entry is 20 feet wide when open.

Please note your positions
Initiative: 1d20 ⇒ 4(please calculate from this roll)
This is for after any suprise round.

You see the bandits riding up from the south shortly after the sun rises 11 men on horses ride towards the trading post, the one in the front wearing a hood. All men are wearing green with black stag antlers emblazoned on their chests.

Brennyn rises after his alloted eight hours sleep and busies himself with his morning preparations. Following his morning wash, he dresses himself in his vestments and clutches his holy symbol tightly.

"Lord of the First Vault, watch over us today that we might begin to bring civilisation to this land. Although my companions may not yet be considering how to accomplish this, I ask that you watch over them that they may bring glory to your name and to those that they follow in their stead. I ask this in your name, amen," Brennyn intones softly, and as he does so he feels a faint warmth suffuse his body. Buoyed by the divine presence, he rises to his feet and dresses in his chainmail, hefting his heavy steel shield and hanging his heavy mace from his belt. He double checks his light crossbow, ensures that it is loaded and then makes his way outside. As he exits the bunkhouse, he notes the positions of the others. Knowing Jeremiah's handiwork, he crosses the courtyard quickly without saying a word. He takes up position at the corner of the stable and sets his light crossbow on an adjacent barrel. Clutching his holy symbol, he draws upon the divine energy to bless the party.

Brennyn shall hold his action until the bandits are into the fort and then cast bless on the party.

Perhaps taking the situation a bit too seriously, Garr'ak will have slept behind the door he meant to close the next day. Upon awakening, he would put his armor back on and arm himself before joining the rest for breakfast.

Unlike the night before, Garr'ak would make quick work of the meal before once again offering his assistance in cleaning up.

When Esmeralda offers the group the chance to join in on her ceremony, Garr'ak would join in some what reluctantly. He had nothing against the lady of luck, but he would prefer not to be the butt end of another one of her jokes.

Garr'ak will join in on the ceremony.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

After retaking his position behind the door.

A questioning look would make it's way onto Garr'ak's face as Esmeralda took up her position behind him. However, before he could question her motives, she tells her explains herself.

Not sure of what she means when she speaks of making him invincible, Garr'ak starts to deny her request, hoping to move her away from the front line. However, once again he would be interrupted as she places her hands on his arms. Upon feeling his muscles start to bulge and tighten, Garr'ak would start to comprehend what she means.

"Defend her boy," he would say firmly to Geoffrey while pointing at Esmeralda to get his point across. Seeing recognition in the wolf's eyes, Garr'ak would turn back towards the door and place his hands against it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Upon hearing the signal.

Garr'ak would let out a bestial roar as he slams his door shut. Once done, he would quickly pivot on his feet to face their enemies.

As if in complete sync with his master, Geoffrey would let out a fearsome growl at the closest enemy. None the less, the wolf would stand its ground between Esmeralda and the bandits.

Geoffrey will ready to attack any enemy that comes towards him and Esmeralda if that is alright with you.

Hmm...Garr'ak has another idea at the moment. He wants to make sure that no enemies get the chance to escape.

After slamming his gate door shut and seeing Tulsino do the same on the other side, Garr'ak would lift the large locking beam and slam it into place before turning to address his enemies with a deadly smile.

"Time to surrender boys. It would be a shame for you to have to meet old rusty," as he spoke he would give the wrench at his side a soft pat.
