Oh I know, but he's always asking. Before that it was "let me get reactions and dialouge before moving the scene forward". I'm not complaing, but Ormak isn't exactly a social character.
If I could have, when everybody was showing off, I woulda popped claws and been like "I can do this" and not said anything else. But I can only do that a very few times per day right now.

Morning, folks. Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
Ormak, one or two posts a day is fine (play-by-post games are slow, guys... that's just how it is), but I would like everyone to contribute something between scenes. "Social" has nothing to do with it. If you're the type that scans the horizion for trouble, bow drawn, whenever your teammates get to talking or strategizing, then just post something to that effect between scenes. Or post your thoughts, even, or deliver a quip or a one-liner about this-or-that. It doesn't matter.
I don't ever want to move from one scene/event/stimulus to another without some kind of contribution from everyone, if only because I want to know what everyone's doing (or holding, thinking, casting, looking at, looking for, saying...) when the next scene/event/stimulus crops up. Plus it builds inter-party rapport, and gives the campaign a little character.

Monkeygod |

I've been following along the whole time. There isn't anything for me to do. This is the only php, of the many, many I've been, in that everybody was required to post in order to move plot forward.
Sometimes, there's nothing valid for a player to post, but that doesn't mean they've left. Many people just don't like posting "I stand there, looking scary" or type out their inner thoughts.
Believe me, I'm in about 10 games actively, with at least 6 more that I've been in that's either died or gone inactive temporarily, and stuff like this happens all the time.
You want me to post a reaction, give me something to react to. Ormak could care less about the hitting habits of a bugbear that may or may not be coming out of the town to possibly pick a fight with us.
Also,
These last few weeks have been very busy at work, and they've also kinda tightened up the whole "don't be on your cell phone at work", so its been hard for me to post from there, in any of my games. I can sometimes make a few short posts, though it all depends on down time.

Ormak Kron |

What I guess I was trying to get at is that if there's nothing really going on, my posts would seem forced and fake, something I'm not comfortable doing. Seems too much like filler.
Now on to the present situation in game:
Ormak would not mind giving up his weapons as he still has his claws, but he would strongly suggest the rest of the group does not comply. Way too risky and not at all smart....

The group seems to be leaning toward not complying. Is that a fair assessment? Are we comfortable with the idea that we won't be able to use this place for supplies or shelter? We've got a couple of Survival specialists, but we could easily get in over our heads if we blow a few rolls...

Xzot aka Lady Jenise |

From Xzot's viewpoint he can get out, that he's certain of. It's getting out with the rest of you that concerns him. While he could probably sustain himself food wise, it's the 'predators' that concern him. I say we comply if necessary, but I'll try to diplomacy away at least a little bit (don't think it'll help, but you never know).

Flametouched |

Flametouched isn't the least bit concerned about its survival either (after all, there ain't much it actually requires to keep going); it's really the rest of you that it is concerned with. Flametouched can assist, potentially - we'll see how the conversation goes.

Hey, if anyone here considers himself an optimizer (or just clever), help me out in this thread. I'm trying to justify an indulgent barbarian build. : P

I need to make an unpleasant announcement. My laptop has been acting a little odd for the last couple weeks, and yesterday it become evident that the issue was less one to be filed under "annoying (mildly)" and more under "catastrophic (impending)."
The good news is, I have my stuff backed up and the laptop is under warranty; the bad news is, I'm about to go offline for probably at least a week while I get my computer fixed. I will have my phone to post with, but things could get interesting, and I might not be completely reliable on my usual daily basis.

This is a terrible time for me to not have a laptop... how am I supposed to have deep theological discussions posting from my phone...?
If the gm will indulge me, I would like to wait to see if I have my computer back tomorrow night before I try to type up my answer to Ohak's post. Otherwise, I'll struggle through on my poor smartphone.

Nark Snarky |

ah, just back with more inspiration. Haven´t felt so well with Nark due to "feeling that posting a lot" plus quite running out of idea how should I approach without affecting other people playing.
Reasoning I don´t want to steal the show so much plus affecting others in game with Nark actions. How is others also viewing my playing with him is what I wonder sometimes. Trying to come up with some ideas but leaving room for others also chimney in
Plus my absence: sorry for worrying you! Had quite big change in my environment-> moved to Köln (4th biggest city in Germany) and was busy arranging my stuff plus getting work

Hey, all: I have a bit of a good news/bad news announcement.
The bad news: I'll need to be cutting back to about one or two posts a day, for now. I like this campaign a lot and am not withdrawing from it, I'm just not going to be able to post more than once or twice a day. This'll make it all the more important that everyone else also posts a minimum of once or twice a day, to keep things moving.
The good news: I just got my consignment paperwork approved from the Paizo Consignment team last Friday. Your GM, the Garden Tool, is now the founder, lead designer, lead editor, and art director for an unincorporated, non-LLC organization called Abandoned Arts, which will be offering for sale several product lines of Pathfinder Roleplaying Game compatible tabletop game content via the Paizo Store. You can click the link, but there's nothing there just yet. My first couple of products are still pending the artwork I've commissioned.
Writing and producing tabletop games and tabletop game content has been a childhood dream of mine since I was about 10. To have an opportunity to contribute something - anything - to the industry, is literally a childhood dream come true, even if I only sell one copy. This new project is going to take up quite a lot of my time, however, hence the time constraints.
Again, I'm not dropping the campaign - this is just a heads up that my activity will be restricted to one or two posts-per-day for now. Thanks for understanding!

@ Xzot: Yes, actually. My focus will be on new content in support of existing rulesets and themes (as opposed to new rules or subsystems). New monsters, new class options (combat feats, grit feats, style feats, teamwork feats, hexes, mysteries, inquisitions, and so on), and new archetypes, general feats, and spells. That sort of thing.
I hope to release at least one product a month.
My very first product will be seven-page PDF (six, plus a cover page) called "More Gremlins!," the first item in my "More Monsters!" product line. "More Gremlins!" will contain five new gremlins for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. It will contain full stat blocks, some very spiffy artwork, a minimum of fluff text, and a very short Bestiary-style appendix. I expect to price it at $1.99.
After that, I'll be releasing the first product in my "Class Acts" product line (name subject to change), which will contain two pages (at two columns per page) of new combat feats, most of which will be fighter-specific or dependant on fighter-specific class features. I expect to price it at $0.99
I'll also be releasing the first product in a yet-unnamed "NPC" product line soon, which will consist of a series of PDFs, each containing five interesting and high-quality pregenerated NPCs based around a theme. Each product will consist of a seven-page PDF (six, plus a cover page). The first product, "Carnival Crew", will contain five "carnival" themed NPCs: ringmaster, acrobat, jester, beast tamer, and hypnotist (or perhaps "fortune teller"). I expect to price it at $1.99.
