I'm good either way, but didn't you want this chronicle to be slow track for me? I was at 10.5 XP going into this one, so this will put me at 11.5, making me level 5 after the next scenario regardless of advancement track. I'd be happy with that so I can continue to burn feats on idiotic character options, but if you want to try to keep my advancement a bit closer to normal be my guest.
Once Marcus hits level 5 he's getting his own ship and crew... Then you'll be forced to deal with Captain Marcus Vulpares Fantailler, Son of Marcus Vultulus Fantailler, Baronet of Ridonport.
Full disclosure: I have no plan to put more than a token rank in Profession (Sailor). Marcus just needs another title.
You were the one that initially said you might go slow track on one... I assume to avoid having to deal with a .5 =)

Oh, I've got lots of floating 0.5s from Plunder and Peril slow track chronicles. Captain Marcus it is. With my incredibly optimized dirty trick Barbarian.
Just to clarify what are current APL is...
Could folks please confirm that:

Midge and Fifi level 3
Londo, Masym, and Kioshi all level 5
Unfortunately, that puts us in the 3-4 tier, with half the party out of tier high. Don't expect much of a challenge (combat-wise)... we'll try to keep it interesting in the RP side of things at least.

GM, If you would allow I would change my character for the remaining games to a level 2 character. I have to admit that I cannot get a really good grip on Kioshi RP wise.
I can't really force you to play a PC you don't want to.
That being said, the whole point of this exercise was to play with the same group of PC's!
I'd rather try to figure out why you're having a hard time with Kioshi, and try to offer some solutions there, than abandon the character. (Not to mention that would further muck up the APL stuff)

This group has so much RP potential and so many hooks that I shouldn’t have a any issues to find his personality but I somehow wasn’t able to really identify with him. So it definitely is not the setting!
But I do not want to mess up the set up so if you would rather continue with Kioshi I am also fine and will put more effort into it!!

The group had a real impact on Kioshi so his alignment will shift to Neutral Good.
I will concentrate on one of the aspects of his goddess and spin his personality a bit.

Still figuring out purchases. I'm definitely going to pick up a few scrolls of Darkvision and hand them off to the casters to use as necessary. I'm eying a Circlet of Persuasion as well. Is anyone here trained in Disable Device? If any of the casters are, scrolls of Aram Zey's focus may be worthwhile as well.

The only ones who have it on their spell lists, are Kioshi and Midge, neither of whom would be able to see in the dark either, should it come up.

Fifi commissioned a custom-made shield with a Lion's head - resembling the Taldan lion. While she initially wanted to buy a Sarenite one, she opted out for something a little more discreet, which will serve as a memento of her travels in Taldor too.
Along with that, she bought 3 Ancient Scrolls that describe incantations on how to conjure a blade made out of pure flame. Even if unable to cast them right now, she will be studying them closely, trying to learn the prayers needed to conjure divine magic.
Am leaving the country bright and early tomorrow, and probably won't be able to update anything 'til Wednesday.
At least not satisfactorily.
So if you don't see anything from me, that's why. =)

I am beginning to see why you all had trouble with these derro and mites in the last scenario.
If we cannot deal with the darkness then perhaps a retreat is in order?
Darkness can (and should) be a major hindrance.
Nobody took any steps to alleviate the issue, despite strong likelihood it was going to come up again. /shrug
