The first scenario will be Decline of Glory ... sort of a apropos title for Taldor as a whole!

Standard GM disclaimer...
Most scenarios say 'read or paraphrase the following' ... I tend to take the word paraphrase to heart. So if my posts get a little wordy sometimes, that's normal. I'm not the cut and paste sort and I have to make a few edits here there to make the scenarios flow together a little more organically.
I check posts fairly frequently, so the game tends to move as fast as you guys post. I do set a hard limit of 24 hours on responses though, and will move things along regardless by then. If you know you're going to be away or unable to post, just let us know so we're not waiting for a post that's not coming and can bot you appropriately.
I use a block initiative format... such that everyone who goes before the bad guy will go at the same time. I will typically resolve the actions in the order in which they are posted (NOT in initiative order) everyone else considered delaying slightly as you jockey for position. If you want to make sure you go after someone else who has not posted yet, or are earlier in the init and want to make sure you go before someone who has posted, just mention it in your post, and I'll resolve things accordingly. (I find this is the only way to keep the narrative sane).
I put most dice rolls inside a spoiler tag.
This is mostly just to keep all the rolls from cluttering up the text. Feel free to look behind the screen whenever you want (or don't, if you like the air of mystery). Though occasionally some of the tags might be a bit cryptic... I try to keep attack rolls on PC's and such obvious, so you can check my math if needed.
Maps will be using Google Slides (There's a link at the top) and expect you to move your own tokens (or ask them to be moved if you cannot) when appropriate... if I move them for you, you might not always be in the most optimal location!
If you're really curious on posting styles you can check my previous Campaign threads (though spoilers abound, be warned), otherwise, we'll work it out as we go!

In actually absolutely nobody should have a clue who that unimportant over glorified tax collector who owns a dilapidated estate is.
Also, I played with Fifi and Midge on their last adventure, just using a different character.

I've been saying it's east of the Sellen, near Cassomir, on a route used by nearly nobody except a few traders on rare occasion, giving Marcus's father the job of collecting their taxes. Marcus's father is human, and Marcus is illegitimate, with some cursory attempts to hide the fact.
Just waiting for eddv to check in with whichever char he is bringing.

Marcus will continue to advertise all of Taldor's failings as reasons why Taldor is either awesome or will be even more awesome in the future.
Also Re: Glorianna and the Sovereign Court. While Marcus insists that Taldor is in fact the greatest nation in all of Golarion, he is secretly a supporter of Lady Glorianna, or whomever espouses her views at this point in the campaign. The sluggishness of the nobility's ability to respond to threats such as the Worldwound bothers him, and establishing the court is something he things may help that. He fully expects (is deluded into expecting) the great leaders of Taldor to come around eventually and become major players.
Hmm.... Londo, I'm trying to work out the timing of your backstory.
The third mendev crusade ended in 4668.
Current date (scenario-wise) is about 4709. (Though current date, PFS-wise, I think is 4718)
So the crusade ended 43-52 years ago. Just how old is Londo? =)
Based on typical half-orc aging ... you'd be venerable I think. Heh.
You might want to bump the background up to the 4th crusade, which ended 2 or 3 years prior to this scenario's timeline (give or take)

You know, usually I kind of dread social sections on scenarios in PbP, just cause they tend to bog right down, in order for folks to participate, without being just a big text dump of information on the GMs part.
So its been awesome today with most everyone jumping into the conversations, so I could spread all the info out and make it flow more natural!

Londo is supposed to be quite old, for what its worth. 16 + 43 is 59 years old or as old as 68 in more recent scenarios, which is yeah about right for him.
That's why he cant use heavy armor anymore and all of that, he's barely able to be the warrior he once was. Its important for his story that he took part in the Third Crusade because thats the one that went haywire.
