As far as I've always known you can make them even when unconscious, but yes you get crazy penalties, which I was going to let the GM figure out exactly. When I failed without penalty it just made it easier.
The funny this is if I made the save and had evasion... sometimes it just better to be lucky than good.

_______________A prone defender gets +4 AC vs ranged attacks (i.e. Brady should have AC 20 currently); did that get figured in? Also, can you refresh me with what Brady's options are--other than dropping in the swamp--to extinguish the flames? If a move or standard action "roll" would do it, you may bot that for him currently, otherwise I'll review and act in the AM.

it was vs Touch AC, and his attack roll did include the -4 (you can see it included)
Basicaly, when on fire:
Extinguishing the flames is a full-round action that requires a Reflex save. Rolling on the ground provides the target with a +2 to the save. Dousing the target with at least 2 gallons of water automatically extinguishes the flames.

Should have asked this in my earlier post; how many of these javelins did Brady get? I only saw one available in the inventory post, but you've been using the plural, so I thought I should double-check.

So what is the plan? I believe we were going to do two scenarios during Gameday, but at this point, we're over 2/3 of the way through gameday and still have some of the first scenario left. I don't see any reasonable way to finish both scenarios before the end to gameday.

I must admit the combats have been running much longer than standard combats with no gear. I bet that has a lot to do with it. And of course the site issues at the start.
I'd rather go long and keep the color text! Dale doesn't have a date for some reason...

I'm fine with a longer game as well. I's certainly more enjoyable with the descriptions!
I do agree with Dale, the combats have been running longer and there seems to be a bit more combat than usual, especially for a scenario that uses a rare subsystem that takes time to run as well. I wonder if this sceanrio tends to run long in regular face to face play.

Ditto. And I've run and been in this one in face to face, and it does tend to go A.) Long and B.) This final battle can just be absolutely friggin brutal depending on how some of the dice rolls go.

Technically, you can't keep the hat ... but I can be convinced to add it to the chronicle if you pay a proper 'cleaning and repair fee' (that just happens to be the same as the cost for a hat of that sort (with appropriate markup to signify how awesome it is, that just so happens to make it come out to an even gp amount!)
I had my shot at it (three shots actually... but all three failed! So its yours if you wish).
As for the rest of your equipment made during this... again, you don't get to keep them technically, but if you want, you can pay the 'cost' of a primitive material item of that sort if you want to keep it, and I can mark it on the sheet.
Hell, for a weapon you can use the masterwork transformation (Tad can cast it) spell to make it mwk (for 300gp), then enchant it... at which point the fragile quality goes away... if you want to go that way and are looking to have a magic weapon anyway.
Also, let me know if anyone is gaining a level after this.

Just curious about what the -310g is on mine? -52 for the hat and formula book copying, but the additional -310. Sounds like a relic from someone else's buying a MW weapon?

Oh ok. At the prerace bit then? I'd never seen that in a chronicle before, no worries it was just odd looking so I asked.
Now I'm curious.. was it at the Inn or maybe the ones we caught sneaking around? I'm always curious on how much things change based on our actions/dice rolls in a game.

Frankly, it tends to be "If your team didn't bother looting every room, reduce gold by amount in the room" so it's pretty rare that gold actually gets deducted without mission failure in my experience. But, it does happen... and I know some GMs will hand wave it on personal feeling or just not wanting to do the math while in a rush on game night or at Con.

A question: I got 3000+ GP, and a +1 armor worth 1000 GP
A +2 armor cost 4000 GP. Can I use my 3000 GP to reinforce my armor previous enchantment?
I plan to get a +1 Light fortification Armor

Dale finally has enough gold to buy a haversack, so gosh darn it I'm getting one! He also got a couple holy waters. I'll ponder any more purchases, but they'll probably be consumables.
