" While I'll normally agree there are two problems with that. One, there is not enough in here to create what I believe would constitute a full swarm. Two this material seems to be Glaucite... which to my knowledge is much to tough for even weapons of adamantine allow to burst. The resulting needed explosion would also likely raise any enemies left in the tower at onoe. So I propose we take it with us so that once we rest far away from the Tower, we can dispose of them properly, unless Phylla or any of us can find a use for such a thing, perhaps as a weapon to harry enemies? " Yvell mused.

I'm assuming you head up the stairs back at F11.

Flights of stairs ascend and descend to this large atrium. The ceiling above the landing is open to the floor above, while doors on the south and east walls of the atrium allow access to other parts of this floor. Short messages have been written above three of the doors. The air in this room smells strangely acrid.

Above the upper right door is: Lab 1: Alchemy. Above southern door is: Lab 2: Fluid Siphoning Research. And above southwestern door is: Lab 3: Gaseous Ooze Research.

This large, tidy laboratory has a foul, chemical odor. Several tables, a few shelves stacked with jars and baskets, and an empty desk line the walls.

The various chemicals can be collected to form an alchemist's lab worth 200 gp. There are also pharmaceuticals and potions scattered about the area.

Yvell nods, moving to open the door to the room south of this Alchemy Lab, he will scan said room for Evil and magic much the same, while looking for th any elusive beasts or traps. This place was full of one or the other.

The tables and shelves in this large laboratory are all coated with a thin greenish slime. One desk is heaped with pages of notes, and a human skeleton dressed in moldy robes lies slumped over it. A large glass tank atop the easternmost table is shattered and shards of glass litter the floor of the room, while a pale green haze floats in the air.

In the center of the room is an ominous fog. Staring at it, you can see phantasms and ghost like shapes forming. Within the fog there seems to be another creature hiding in the smoke.

The smoke doesn't move, but is staring at the open doorway and the party.

Weaknesses


Kharamell's pistol shots are absorbed by the phantasm cloud, causing images of ghosts to scream out and vaporize. There seems to be less of the vapors surrounding the creature within the hungry fog.

Yvell recalls that hungry fogs are weak against wind.

Perdix knows that they are resist damage unless it is magical. They also resist some cold, and are immune to acid, electricity and sonic. They attack through engulfing creatures, dealing negative energy damage and staggering those trapped within.

Grammanar, Muga and Yvell strike at the fog until it dies, leaving a pool of dark liquid on the floor. As the creature perishes, the darkness hiding an incorporeal creature made of clouds and shadows. It babbles slightly before it is also struck down, by the heroes' assault.

Yvell idles his blade, mystified by the creature that suddenly appeared before him. What manner of being inhabited the inside of the Hungry fog? When it laid hand upon him, his sight ebbed ever so slightly.

" I suppose it was the right choice to check all the rooms firs. It's possible that.. whatever it was could have taken an opportunity to flank the backline while we were in the room searching. "

He seemed to pause, as if trying to recall some information he couldnt quite remember, before turning outwards from the door out into the hallway once more.

" Right then, there is on more place before I feel safe explore, I rather not waste Perdix's magic. "

He proceeds to open the southern door, forgetting to check it as he did the others.

Wis 6 Oh boy


The wooden and metal furnishings of this room have been smashed to pieces. The fragmentary remnants have been arranged into spiky piles throughout the room, while the bones of a long-dead dwarf lie in a mangled heap at the far side of the room.

A pair of airy creatures made of gaseous barbed tendrils hovers in the center of the room.
