While assessing the battlefield Tiamat spots something moving with near perfect timing on their flank. "Take care, one of them is trying to flank us. 120 meters to 4 o'clock. The rest of them will hit us next round. Kill them all." His voice deep dark, steel cold and emotionless.
He readies his flamer, ready to let them burn as soon as they get close enough. His mind calculating their speed against the effective range of his weapon, trying to calculate the perfect moment to hit as many of the enemies as possible in the cone of his flamer. Setting up Overwatch or readied action whichever is more appropriate to catch as many Chronowarriors as possible on their final charge in the next round.

Round 3:

Vorenthar wasn't one to favor the ranged tools given to him by the emperor but he would employ them when he could. He pulled the bolt pistol he managed to aquire and trained it at one of the Chrono charging ahead. Following it's tracks till ti became into shooting range and he would unleash a burst of explosive bullets into the creature before dropping the pistol and going for the chainsword and preparing for melee. "Brace for impact brothers..."

Just before my turn, Tactical Advance to move 10 metres. That will put me at 30 metres. In my turn, Full Action for Semi-Auto Fire on Chrono #2.

Feliks points his bolt pistol in the direction of Brother Knutr, ready to kill anything that approaches the other Space Wolf.

Knutr turns his head back for just a second. If it wasn't by the fact that he's wearing a helmet, Feliks would swear Knutr is winking at them...

@GM:
Since Knutr recovered his Reaction, the plan is letting them charge at him (at least the first one) and react by moving 10 metres back into the line. Knutr calculates that they charge 30 metres, so this would leave one or two of them in the rest of the Brother's kill zone, and Knutr ready to charge next turn.
Knutr did this because he's still a Skyclaw - he wanted to claim first blood, and he rejoices in such a risky strategy. If it doesn't work... well, Valhöll awaits...

Rising to his feet, Cato drops his pistol and draws his power maul. Gesturing with his melee weapons Cato speaks out in a voice that carries easily.

"Message received Brother Tiamat, everyone watch your flanks. Centre yourselves on me and let our Iron Fist become a Wall of Steel for our enemies to be smashed against 1 by 1"

I hope I'm not over stepping my position here, but this seemed worth it. And sorry I am late to the round's posting when I have a high Initiative and this may affect later actions.

Spend 1 FP to enter squad mode which should allow all within support range to enter as well. Spend 3 Cohesion (leaves 2 as we gain 1 back for my FP) to apply Strong point, centred on me, called target Chrono 2.

"Concentrate your fire on the one blooded by Knutr, for Sanguinius and his brothers!"

Strong point:
Full action, cost 3, Sustained= yes. Nominated centre (me) must remain stationary. Centre can Call Targets as free action or reaction. Brothers in support range get +20 to BS and WS against a called target, may reroll damage against it and may use their Reactions to make standard attacks against it. A target remains marked in this way until either the Centre moves or the Centre marks a new target.

At the top of Round 4 overwatches go off. 1d100 ⇒ 67 Any shots made against the enemy's body are considered blocked by cover due to the constantly moving bladed walls poping up. This is a quick way to deal with the minutia of the situation.

Following the orders of Cato he would train the bolt pistol on Chrono warrior #2 and let's lose a burst of fire, once done dropping the bolt pistol he pulls the chainsword and switches it on.

Iron Hands

As the Chrono warriors come closer, Vaylund had intended to take his well aimed shot at the closest Chrono to him, hoping he could make it quick and rejoin his brothers in the middle, but the speed of the warrior was too quick, and Vaylund knew this would only end one way.

Dropping his las-gun he draws his power maul and finds that spark he found in his chambers alone.

Strength and Toughness. This bonus is increased by +5 for every
cybernetic possessed by the affected Space Marine (The Flesh
Is Weak Talent counts its level towards these requirements). If

While just a fraction of the connection is made, its enough to vitalize Vaylund after his wounds and prepare him for what is to come. Not entirely sure how affected by the power he would be, he had rarely seen it used among other Librarians in his chapter, he welcomed the energy and let the anger empower him physically. As it flowed through his veins and bionics, Vaylund's strength grew, somehow augmented by his own bionics, further invigorating him more.

I am glad the walls did not kill you! I shall be the last thing you see! he roars as he readies himself, waiting til the last moment to flicker to life the power blade, perhaps catching his enemy unaware.

Knutr realises too late that his plan is not going to work. The Chrono Warrior approaches too fast and he is not able to give ground, thus he decides, in the very last moment, to attempt a desperate defence...

Vaylund stands in amazement at the enemies burning around him, once again spared the flames of an overwatch from his brothers. He waits eagerly, as in their last fight, for a worthy opponent to combat.

He let out a growl of annoyance when he saw that one of the Chrono warriors converged on Knutr and knowing he was out of reach to get to the young space pup. "Converge on us Knutr and fall in line with the rest! Together, as a Pack we are stronger!" He hated to use these words but he hoped that it would allow the space pup to fall in line so that they could be ready for any other threats. "Cover fire Brothers! Let's get Knutr back to us in 1 piece!" He brought up his bolt pistol once and fired a shot at Chrono 4.

If okay that I stowed the pistol away I will use that, if not, then no shots fired! :)

After the difficulty of not hitting Knutr with the bolt pistol makes his second shell go wide, Feliks snarls at Knutr, "Knutr, get back in the line!"

After the failed thrust from the Warrior and all the metal rained on both of them, Knutr tries to deliver a blow through the Xenos' defences. He's had to drop his power maul due to overheating, though, so he relies on his chainsword while producing again his bolt pistol.

Full Attack. On Chrono #4's last turn, I parried him with a Power Field weapon, maybe it had any effect. Also, I rolled a 95 which means Overheat (I forgot to apply that, let's say I dropped the weapon to avoid damage).
Add +20 to WS if anyone has actually cared to advance 10m to joined the brawl. If everyone is too scared and keeps pew-pewing, then just +0 WS ;) (only teasing :P)

Turning Point

The bladed walls now all pop up and stay in place, creating a maze. A large metal disk falls from the sky giving the maze an enclosed roof. Chrono 1 is still somewhere in the maze camouflaged, but from a top the disk, more things are being fed into the maze...

The maze is very close quarters. You are single file now, the maze has divided you into groups of 2. Combat blades and other smaller melee weapons are +10% to hit, all other weapons are -10% to hit. Heavy weapons give a -10% to dodge in this environment.

With the walls closing on them he was now cornered with Tiamat. The chainsword felt cumbersome now and he sighed for a moment. He let his eyes go over the corpses near him to see if there was anything usefull and at the same time trying to see if there was a way out of this mess. "Let's stay close Brother... we don't know what we are going to run into..."

Turning Point, Round 1
Switching from the flamer to chainsword and bolt pistol, Tiamat takes Vorenthars back, padding on the templars shoulder as a sign for acknowledge, while he tries to determine the location of the other battle-brothers and any signs of the enemy.

Using hand signals, he directs the templar towards the direction of the others. Keeping a hand up to make the templar wait. Knowing that the camouflaged enemy is like near them, he sets up a quick trap with the grenade he had looted from the fallen guardsmen earlier in the fight, using small stripes of cloth from the fallen as a tripwire connected to the grenade. Quick and dirty, have no actual demolition but I plan to take it sometimes. If that actions seems unlikely or it would take more than a round to accomplish, then just ignore it. The idea was just to delay eventual pursuers or hit them if they chase us to level-headed to watch the ground.

-Okay, it seems we're going to have to make this the old way, right?

Knutr looks around to check if he can find something useful from the Chrono Warrior or from any guardsman corpse. Do you need Awareness?

As the wall slams up between Cato and Vorenthar, Cato jumps out of the way. Assessing the new situation he struggles with the layout. Looking around he spots one of the battered corpses, moving quickly to it he says a short prayer, before searching it for anything useful in the tight corridors.

"Vaylund would you keep a look out and see if you can figure out a way to reunite with our brothers? I will see what this poor soul carried and if it may be of any use to us."

Tiamat 7+ Bonuses from before still count Brother Tiamat lands a true blow against the beast and it howls loudly echoing the maze.
