Bhoors quickly slides down the chain reaching the bottom just above the large cauldron. Ruthviren follows the ranger but is much slower only making it down the chain 10 feet just barely being able to hold on to the chain with the weight of his armor pulling on him.
When you both get down below the ceiling level you can see Farid wrestling with a giant albino toad that is attached to a wall to the west and a blue scaled kobold prone on the ground below it. You also see a second blue scaled kobold mounted on another giant albino toad that is attached to the south wall. Other movement can be heard in the room but you can't see who or what is making the sound.

The kobold on the floor stands up and draws out a wicked looking dagger attached to a chain.
The mounted kobold on the south wall throws a javelin at Bhoors but it sails wide.
Bhoors you can make out a faint out line of two figures as they move into the room from the north. One mumbles something in a language you don't know then the other one throws a javelin at you but it misses as well.

"Of all the things I was expecting to see today...this was not on the list."
Bhoors hollers up the shaft. "Drop a light."
"On it!"
Serila starts climbing down, and whilst doing so sends her dancing light to the bottom of the elevator shaft.
Serila follows the warriors down the chain and as she does her magical light float down into the room. As the lights move down you can now see most of the room.
The shaft drops down into a large, mostly square chamber. A doorway opens in one wall, while two other walls have been broken through from the outside. Cramped, narrow natural tunnels beckon from beyond the breached walls.

Bhoors notes the kobold without armor draws his bow and fires.
"We're here for the human children!" he bellows as he moves.
Farid will draw his axe and drop the 10' onto the Kobold that he knocked off the mount!

Farid drops as he draws his axe landing on the kobold below killing it instantly.
Standing in the cauldron Bhoors is just tall enough to fire an arrow at the far white scaled kobold. The arrow flies true but just misses.
Ruthviren climbs down the chain slowly and out of the cauldron drawing his large hammer as he does.

The toad above Farid drops to attack with is gooey tusks but misses.
The other toad shoots a ball of slime at Serila but it sails wide hitting the wall across the room. The kobold on the toad throw his last javelin at Serila as well but it also misses failing to the ground harmless.
The blue scaled kobold in the doorway draws a wicked looking dagger on a chain and whips it at Ruthviren but the warrior parries the attack.
The white scaled kobold finishes mumbling and throws a hand full of sand in the air toward the group.
Most of you feel the magic grab you but you are able to resist but Farid falls to the ground.

For some reason Serila doesn't recognize the spell the white scaled kobold cast as one that she also knows and has often used.
However, Serila's medical experience suffices to draw the conclusion Farid's not dead, just sleeping. Thus Serila decides to move over to him, and tries to shake him awake. "Farid, wake up!"
Serila climbs out of the cauldron and rushes to Farid's side.

Bhoors fires a pair of arrows at the spellcaster.
Roo will swing at the kobold north of him.
IF that drops the kobold, he'll step north five feet to threaten the spellcaster.
Farid will shake his head t clear the sleep from it and grab his weapon.
Farid grabs his weapon while guarding against attack from the large toad.
Bhoors fires a volley of arrows at the spellcaster but neither find their mark.
Ruthviren smashes the blue scaled kobold with his large hammer sending it flying five feet to the left.

The spellcaster steps back out of reach and quickly mumbles a few words and throw a hand full of colored sand at Ruthviren. A vivid cone of clashing colors springs forth from its hand but the warrior seems unaffected.
The toad near Farid bites at the barbarian again but he rolls away for the large tusks just in time.
The mounted kobold throws another javelin at Bhoors but it hits the cauldron and falls to the floor. The toad then spits a bolt of goo at Bhoors but it falls short.
You all can hear movement in the darkness beyond the white scaled kobold to the north.

Serila steps away from the toad and sends a blob of acid at it.
Serila casts a quick spell which fires an acid blob but fails to hit the big slimy toad.

Having regained his wits Farid attacks the toad, with some regret, after all what a fabulous mount this would be!

Bhoors fires another set of arrows toward the spellcaster.
Ruthviren has had his fill of spellcasters, Kobolds, and these ruins. He closes on the caster, murder in his eyes...
Farid swings his axe from the ground at the toad but slips on some of the toad's slime and the strike go wide.
Bhoors fires two arrows at the white scaled kobold and both hit! Wiht an arrow in each leg the kobold curses in pain.
Ruthviren tries to silence the spellcaster for good but just at the hammer is about to hit its chest and invisible barrier turns the hammer away.

The white scaled kobold retreats in the dark cavern to the north.
The toad near Farid once again tries to bite the barbarian. With its large tusked mouth the toad bite Farid on the leg piercing clear thru the thigh.
The mounted Blue scaled kobold draws a wicked looking dagger attached to a chain as his mount leaps off the wall at Bhoors. They land inside the cauldron with the ranger and attack but both flail wildly missing.

With little else that she can do, Serila sends another blob of acid at the toad next to Farid.
Serila fires another acid blob at the toad but misses.

Snarling a curse at the fleeing sorcerer, but unwilling to pursue it alone, Ruthviren whirls and rushes at the large toad threatening Farid.
Bhoors drops his bow draws his axe and strikes at the toad.
Regret instantly forgotten Farid swings his axe to kill the foul beast!

Farid thrust at the toad again from the prone position but the slippery toad's hide is to tough to pierce.
Bhoors chops into the toad with the rider giving it a large gash on the flank.
Ruthviren not willing to charge into the darkness to chase the white scaled kobold turns and swings his hammer horizontally over Farid's head striking the albino toad in the head.

The toad over Farid growls in pain as Ruthviren hits it but is still attacks Farid and thrusts it's tusks at the barbarian once again but misses.
The toad in the cauldron with Bhoors leaps up and on to the ranger flattening the him to the bottom of the cauldron. The kobold then stabs Bhoors with his wicked dagger.
Two more blue scaled kobolds move into the room with weapons ready, the white scaled kobold comes out of the darkness as well and also a green scaled kobold is with him.

Serila moves some distance to the east and starts the incantation of a sleep spell.
Serila begins a spell.

Bhoors stands he prepares as best he can from the coming attacks. He does his best to defend but he squares his shoulders and strikes at the frog beast.
"I'll leave the toad for you, Farid," Roo growls, turning back north, "We've got more company"
Roo steps to the north and swings at the western kobold.
Farid pulls himself to his feet and swings again at the damn creature starting to get frustrated with his ineffectiveness.

The albino toad bites at Farid as his stands but misses. Farid bring his axe down finishing the toad off.
Bhoors scrambles to his feet as the toad and kobold attack and both of them miss. Bhoors gracefully counterattacks chopping the toad's head from it's body. The Toad's body jerks sending the kobold off the back.
Ruthviren turns around again to deal with the new comers. Bring his hammer around as he turns he smashes the nearest kobold and it falls limp to the ground.

The blue scaled kobold in the cauldron with Bhoors stands up give the ranger an opportunity to attack but his axe swing wildy wide of its target. The kobold then thrust his dagger at the man caughting him on the arm.
The green scaled kobold quickly says a phrase "Rusess!" and points a finger at Ruthviren and the warrior drops to the ground.
The white kobold begins to mumble and wave his hands again and as he finishes a red magical dart shoots from his finger striking Farid in the chest.
The Blue scaled kobold near Ruthviren moves up and stabs down at the prone man with his spear but fails to peirce the warrior's armor.

Hiya.
DO you still threaten when prone? If so, Roo will whack (AOoO) at the incoming kobold.
If not, no problem.
Just as the blue scaled kobold raises his spear to attack Ruthviren the warrior quickly jabs with the spike on the end of his larger hammer driving it thru the creatures neck. The kobold falls to the ground choking on it's own blood.
Serila finishes her sleep spell and drops it in the tunnel to the north.
Pointing a finger at the kobold next to Bhoors, Serila then sends an orb of acid at it.
The orb nearly lands in Bhoor's face instead of the kobold's, and Serila cringes. "Sorry!"
Serila finishes her spell then quickly cast another one. Neither of the kobold seem to be affected by the woman's first spell.

Farid despite his severe injuries charges ahead at the Kobold, if he was considering giving quarter it appears he is no longer willing to do so as his wild axe swing comes down with as much might as he can muster. Sparks fly as it catches more of the wall than the enemy.

Bhoors snarls at the kobold and drops the great axe down with everything he has.
Roo steps up behind Farid, angling over his allies shoulder to strike at the kobold mage.
Farid slices the white kobold on the leg.
Ruthviren stands up and step forward swing his hammer in the process. With deadly accuracy the warrior's hammer arcs toward the spellcaster and just before it hits the kobold and invisible force deflects the blow.
Bhoors battles with the blue scaled kobold but can't get an clean attack on the quick creature.

The blue kobold jabs at Bhoors again with his dagger but misses.
The green scaled kobold yells. Urktar! Then begins to mumble and way his hands in the air again. As he does a billowing cloud of mist begins to fill the cavern and soon you can not see him anymore.
You hear footsteps retreating down the cavern.

Roo stands for a moment, face working in disgust. "I hate fighting in the fog, " he spits, before lowering his shoulders and barreling past Farid into the obscuring cloud. as he goes, he takes his pole arm in his left hand, drawing his axe in his right.
A shape seems to loom at him from the fog. He sets his teeth and swings the axe...
Bhoors grows annoyed "Die already lizard."
Bhoors curses as his axe catches the edge of the cauldron.
Farid withdraws and grabs a potion to quaff it.
