Loup Blanc here. Haven't been able to work on this as much as I'd like--I've been very busy IRL, and the site being down has led me to focus on other things--but I have crunch done at least for the Dervish. In terms of party roles, he's primarily a damage dealer, but he's got a few tricks up his sleeves with some utility and skills. His main focus is not getting hit, which will lend him good survivability that really comes online around level 8 or 9, but he's already in a pretty good place there. After that, I think his feats will open up to take whatever the party could use, including maneuvers and other stuff. He'll also gain some good AoE style abilities around then, so he gets better as time goes by.

I've decided to go with an Changeling Ectochymist (Alchemist archetype).
Her original idea was for the Carrion Crown AP but she didn't make it in, so after looking over Investigator and other archtypes for both classes, decided to stick with Ectochymist.
Hoping that bonus against fear comes in handy.
Though realizing that Brew Potion is an Item Creation feat so I assume that counts as a craft feat that aren't allowed?
I can change from Alchemist to some other arcane if prefer and I misunderstood the whole no craft feat thing meaning that classes that use craft aren't allowed either.

Don't know what I want to build yet, but I'll roll and see how the dice come up:
Roll 1: 1d6 ⇒ 3 1d6 ⇒ 5 1d6 ⇒ 3 1d6 ⇒ 1
Roll 2: 1d6 ⇒ 2 1d6 ⇒ 2 1d6 ⇒ 5 1d6 ⇒ 5
Roll 3: 1d6 ⇒ 6 1d6 ⇒ 4 1d6 ⇒ 2 1d6 ⇒ 4
Roll 4: 1d6 ⇒ 3 1d6 ⇒ 3 1d6 ⇒ 6 1d6 ⇒ 6
Roll 5: 1d6 ⇒ 5 1d6 ⇒ 1 1d6 ⇒ 1 1d6 ⇒ 3
Roll 6: 1d6 ⇒ 4 1d6 ⇒ 5 1d6 ⇒ 4 1d6 ⇒ 3
25 point buy it is!

Here's my submission: Stackpole the Warder. Don't let his title fool you, he's a human fighter (unbreakable), and a member of a Freemason-esque 'Society'. Appearance, personality, and equipment will be finished this weekend, all the rest is complete. Decided to go with my original idea as I rarely get to play martial characters and my rogue/arcane ideas weren't fleshing out.

How to create your adventurer: ...Be aware of the following house rules in the game: 1. Fighters automatically get Stamina.
I took this to mean that fighters get the Combat Stamina feat for free, but maybe I'm misunderstanding the intent - I've never used the Stamina rules before, so this is entirely possible!

Important question: what are your thoughts on the following:
1. The various aasimar subtypes (I'm planning to use the angel Blooded, if it's allowed).
2. Taking a drawback to get an extra trait?
3. Alternate race traits (I'm thinking of taking the Aasimar deathless trait)
4. Taking something from the variant abilities and physical features section.
------
While this might change, I think I'm going to make a Life Oracle (Innerant voice archetype)/ Paladin (archetype unkown) [2 levels] / Zweihander Sentinal Warder (assuming Path of war is allowed, I think I saw that earlier?).
Basically, an Oradin build, but going to take the Battle Templar prestige class later on. I'm definitely drawing lots of inspiration from the Crusader from Darkest dungeon, and it's my goal to end up with something similar to that.

Okay, let's see about making a highwayman or something.
Stats: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (4, 1, 6, 2) - 1 = 12
Stats: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (4, 6, 5, 1) - 1 = 15
Stats: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (5, 1, 3, 5) - 1 = 13
Stats: 4d6 - 2 ⇒ (2, 4, 4, 5) - 2 = 13
Stats: 4d6 - 3 ⇒ (6, 4, 3, 3) - 3 = 13
Stats: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (3, 4, 6, 1) - 1 = 13
...21... I think I'll go with point buy. :')

Brew Potion is fine. As I said, the crafting ban was for more expensive, powerful, and time-consuming to craft.
The High Sword, Low Axe feat is greenlit for player use.
Fighters get Stamina free, as per Pathfinder Unchained. It helps make them more viable and more on-par with other martials.
Aasimar subtypes are greenlit. You still must remember my stipulation on how they are portrayed and the trait that they all must take.
No drawbacks for bonus traits. My experience is people take drawbacks that do not pose even the slightest detriment, such as an arcane detriment for a martial.
What specifically from the table? Some of the options, such as +2 CHA, are worth way more than a mediocre spell-like ability.
I should have more up later. If I missed something, please message me. Just got up a while ago, so I'm in a half-sleep state.

I was planning on either getting the +1 racial bonus to will saves or the ability to cast shield other as a spell like ability.
Is the battle Templar prestige class from path of war permitted? Asking now, as I already plan on building towards it as I level. If it's not okay, I'll have to make some changes in my build.
Thanks for allowing the angel blooded subrace though. It really helps with the build :)

We are the flame, and the Darkness fears us!
Michael7123 here, I've got most of the build details for my Oradin worked out. I made a mythweavers character sheet, which can be found in the profile page of this alias.
Still working on fluff, but the basic is paladin of Vildeis. Considering that this is the darkest dungeon universe, I imagine him being part of a knightly order that is part of "The Church" (whenever the crusader or vestal talk about "The Light"- that one), with Vildeis serving as their patron saint of sorts.
More details coming later.

Wrapping up my character concept, just trying to flesh it out a little more before I actually start the build.
I was looking at Path of War and found the Harbinger class from the Expanded version, and... well, it seemed like it was the perfect fit for Darkest Dungeon. However, it doesn't totally jive with my earlier idea for the character as a dual-wielder as it doesn't gain Thrashing Dragon and instead has Scarlet Throne. I'm considering having him drop one weapon and just single-hand something, or using a trait/picking up a tradition to get Thrashing Dragon in order to use dual-wielding maneuvers. Once I get that sorted out, I'll be ready to finish my build and post in.
Either way, I'm thinking I'll go Slayer/Harbinger, with Harbinger being the main focus. Not sure how far I'll go with Slayer, honestly. Seeing as though I'm not super familiar with Darkest Dungeon (hoping to buy it in the upcoming Summer Sale), would my character know what kind of foes he's most likely to face frequently? A number of the different Slayer archetypes give bonuses against specific creature types, so if he'd know he's mostly fighting humanoids I'd probably take the Executioner archetype, for instance.
If that isn't information I'd be privy to or there just isn't any one specific kind of enemy, just let me know.

Fury of the Tempest |

Noting interest in this for now. Curious how much time we have until this wraps up...
Personally, I'm thinking of going for a Druid/Unchained Monk build. As we are starting at level 4, I can't get Beast Strike... so I'll likely be picking up Feral Combat Training. Although, depending on how swiftly we level up, waiting for Beast Strike might be the better choice... as I won't lose out on my Unarmed Damage...
Question through. Would the Saurian Shaman archetype be allowed in this game?

Hannibull Rektor |

I forgot to clear my cache after Paizo reset after the login problems everyone had a few days ago, so sorry about ghosting for a few days. It only occurred to me today to clear the cache.
Saurian Shaman falls under first-party material without a technological slant, so it is greenlit.
Regarding illumination, the only item-based illumination early on comes from non-magical torches, lanterns, etc. Magic items that provide illumination may be a part of some treasure that you find. Magic spells that provide illumination are not banned, but keep in mind that is a spell slot gone that could have been used for something else.

I haven't decided on a name, as some of us have stuff styled after the games naming conventions (in which case I'll go with The Killer for Hire), but some others have actual names. I'll probably hold off on an alias for him for right now. Backstory will be up shortly. Short version is this guy has had a pretty s$%* life. I'm figuring his supernatural powers are brokered in a similar way to the Occultist, but he draws on them passively via his connections to dark emotions rather than having actively sought them out and made a deal.

Barring any stragglers, I believe these are all the character submissions. Format is: poster alias - character name/alias - character summary - vice/virtue; linked posts. I've linked character aliases where available, otherwise I linked their submission posts.
Good luck everybody!

Hannibull's profile is pretty new, and he hasn't posted on paizo boards since 6/23. It could be that RL has gotten the better of him for the time being, or it could be he's moved on to greener pastures. He'd mentioned having some weirdness with the site due to his cache, so perhaps he's having technical issues.
Unless someone's been PMed by him or the like, there's not much to do but wait and see.
