Huntarr fires into the prone figure on full-auto, looking to end this fight.

1d100 ⇒ 8 vs 87

More manstoppers rip into a prone figure.....

I only used a half action on my turn. I just want to use my delayed portion to talk. If that would be allowed

group:

Illidan yells at his mates
"SHOULD WE TAKE HIM ALIVE?!? You still have a prize to collect right huntarr? Let us take the time to obtain any useful info. Priest we will even allow for you to abstract the data. Any way you seem fit. Your call "

Huntarr is deaf and doesn't hear Illidan.

LOL I think ALL of you are deaf! Just forgot to update it in the list there.

Toughness check to see if deaf 1d100 ⇒ 46 vs 33

Constantine - Deaf
Illidan - Deaf
Huntarr - Deaf
Auraxis - Not Deaf

1d100 ⇒ 21 vs. 62

2d10 + 6 ⇒ (1, 10) + 6 = 17 7 damage, forgot tearing was off. (2 pen.)

Constantines Chain Sword digs into Crackmarrows arm as he is unable to hear Illidan and his arm looks really messed up now but he still breaths.

Initiative Order - Round 3
Crackmaw - 11 (heavily wounded/prone)
Illidan - 10 (jammed/deaf6)
Huntarr - 9 (deaf6)
Constantine - 9 (jammed/deaf6)
Auraxis - 6 (jammed)

Auraxis looks to finish him off so we can get to the next thing.

Axe Attack 1d100 ⇒ 82
Axe Damage 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Just as Auraxis axe somehow misses the big guy a strange mist quickly fills the area. You hearing is slowly returning and you can hear the distant sound of people screaming and yelling.

From the mist you see 4 shapes moving toward you until they are clear. It is 3 of the Spider Brides ladies and they have evil grins on their faces as they look down at the dead bodies.

"You have done well and the Spider Bride thanks you. Here is what was promissed."

One of them hands you 4 envelops with a wax seal of House Haarlock on it while the other 3 start to drag off the dead or nearly dead bodies.

"Enjoy the Dark Revels."

"shall we go into papa Grist hideout see whats inside?"
illidan fiddles with his gun still trying to unjam it.
1d100 ⇒ 72 vs 42
illidan walks inside stepping over the hammer the big guy dropped
{thinking}.oO(I cannot wield such a weapon maybe one of the others can make use of it."

group ... Dropped weapon:

Lui stated when I spazzed the big guy he fell and dropped his giant hammer. Since he never recovered from it I assume its still there

Auraxis will attempt to unjam his gun as well
Unjam 1d100 ⇒ 55

"Why not maybe he has better weapons than us".

Did our foes drop their weapons they were wielding I assume yes.

Below is list of weapons found that were either on their body or in the building

  • Hand Cannon with full clip of dumdum bullets
  • Electro whip
  • Sawn-off scattergun with full clip of regular ammo
  • Great Hammer
  • Stub Automatic with full clip of regular ammo

Anyone going to open the envelopes?

Huntarr accepts the envelopes.

"Give your Mistress our gratitude. It was most amusing indeed. I ask one small favor. May I search the body of Papa Grist? You may then take it away with you. He has something that belongs to me."

If they give permission, Huntarr searches Papa Grist's pockets.

All the equipment that was on them was left on the ground. There was no thrones for you only 1 envelope similar to what they provided without the symbol of House Haarlock.

illidand will grab the whip and toss it in the backpack
who has th envelope ?

Huntarr will examine the envelope found on Papa Grist, carefully, suspecting that it's trapped.

I would like the stub and the sawed off.

Can I use the hammer?

The envelopes appear to contain another document inside them. Would you like to open them?

Huntarr will open it and look in carefully.

Inside you find an invitation to Gabriel Chase to celebrate the Dark Rebels. All the letters are the same.

Huntarr hands each of the others an invitation. Then he pulls his shotgun out and clears it.

1d100 ⇒ 10 vs 47

"We should keep this quick. We still need to meet with Lady Melua."

Huntarr moves over to the door and peeks inside.

There isn't much inside just random crap of no worth. Based on the date time of the invitation there is probably only a few hours left till the Dark Revels.

Huntarr picks up the hand cannon and whistles up transportation to get to Lady Melua's hotel.

Illidan glances at the invitation and gives it a once over
"Anyone know what this is all about, this dark revels? And should we go as is guns in hand"
illidan still tinkering with his gun and smacks it around a bit
1d100 ⇒ 85 vs 42

"f@#$ING piece of junk gun!!!

Huntarr takes a moment to unjam his hunting rifle.

1d100 ⇒ 40 vs 47

Then he looks to the recovered hand cannon.

1d100 ⇒ 4 vs 47

All weapons can be unjammed no need to roll anymore

Assuming since none posted everyone's going with Huntarr

The trip to the address Lady Melua left for you is a quick ride not far from the Arena and there does not seem to be any security at the building so very easy to get inside.

Your team makes it's way up to the 3rd level where her room would be and see the room at the end of the walkway.

Everyone please make an Awareness check please.

Awareness 1d100 ⇒ 25

Auraxis:

You hear what sounds like a struggle coming from the room you guys are headed toward and the faint sound of a muffled scream.

"Big surprise, there is trouble ahead!"

Auraxis runs towards the struggle with his hand cannon in hand (the other guns might hurt someone I want to leave alive).

Awareness 1d100 ⇒ 73 vs 40
" Seems to be empty in here "
upon hearing and seeing Auraxis reaction illidan readies his auto gun and prepares for danger

As you turn to enter the room guns drawn you see a horrific scene. A waxy flesh like creature with teeth and eyes all over it is devouring a young woman near the window of the room. It looks up at you and hisses as it jumps out the window before you can react. It moved with inhuman speed.

Is she still in the room or did it drag her with it or is she inside of it?

She is still there hard to tell if she is still alive. You can make a straight Medicae roll or if you don't have it Int -10.

"Illidan work your magic on her!!

I will go to the window and look to see if I can get a parting shot.

illidan focuses his chakra in the palms of his hands as they burst forth into flames of green light
"Best be on your guard everyone, never know what's going to burst forth from the warp"

Healing No jutsu 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Wounds recovered 1d10 ⇒ 6 / 2 = 3

Illidan infuses the woman with the healing powers of the warp but she does not stir. It seems her wounds were far to bad to be healed and is probably resting with The Emperor now.

Whatever that creature was it's no where to be seen out the window.

illidan hauled @$$ to the front of the building
illidan sits in a medative stance to broaden his connection to the warp
Innovate 1d100 ⇒ 71
Dowsing No Jutsu 2d10 + 5 ⇒ (10, 7) + 5 = 22 vs 11
Psyniscience test 1d100 ⇒ 46 vs 45 it should be within 100 meters

Illidan does not sense anything.

Huntarr swears softly at another life lost to this madness.

"No doubt that we will find that creature's master at the Dark Revel."

Huntarr searches the room for the woman's picture of her brother, along with anything else of value.

You find the picture of her brother inside one of her pockets where she first showed you but there appears to be not much of worth in the room. Just some decent female clothing. This does not appear to be her permanent resident but perhaps just a hotel room she was staying at.

Huntarr shows the picture to the others before moving out of the room.

"We better go, and quickly."

As they wait for transport to the Dark Revel, Huntarr will place an anonymous call to the Arbites that the Lady Melua was murdered by a foul Chaos creature.

(A Noblewoman with no Thrones at all? Makes no sense. How was she paying for the room?)

Remember she was here against her fathers wishes. Also I don't think you need to carry hard currency do you to purchase things?

(I would think you do if you're worried about being traced. And Assassins don't take credit cards.)

Illidan regroups with the rest of the men.
"Sorry no luck with tracking the predator. Who is this woman? Any clues why she was murdered?"
illidan snaps a photo of the murder scene with the pict recorder
