Spoiler:

"Ah, but is it the right infomation?"

Huntarr:

Grist rubs his chin.

"You are an off worlder, no off worlders ever come here during the festivals. So that means one of two things, you were taken here and not by choice or your some secret agent type. You do not look like the secret agent type and by the looks of your cloths you look like you been through hell and back."

"If you do what I ask I will provide you with 1000 thrones as well as what you seek."

Spoiler:

"You have my attention. Who do you want dead?"

Tripple Pain:

Initiative for the 4
1 - 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
2 - 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
3 - 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
4 - 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Huntarr:

"There is a vile creature that needs to be exterminated. A creature so evil that you might make me out for a milksop saint beside her. She goes by the name of the Spider Bride. She has been hindering my operation and needs to be removed from the picture. She is based out of the pleasure gardens in the lower Akasen, but you must be cautious not to be lulled by the wiles of those she keeps by her!"

"We can provide you with some things you may need now to get the job done."

Spoiler:

"I'm still listening. The more information you provide on the target, the more likely the operation is to be successful."

Huntarr:

"Not much else to tell. She resides in the Akasens and can not be trusted. Her beauties will try to lul you into their webs stay far away from them."

Spoiler:

"There is always more to know. I'm not some gunslinging idiot. She has habits. Likes, dislikes, fears, and desires. They're all weapons. People like you are creatures of habit. People like me use those habits to undermine your security and thereby place ourselves into a position to make the kill. What are her habits?"

Huntarr:

Grist Laughs

"Her habits? She's a ancient vile creature! Her habits are devouring souls."

Spoiler:

"This doesn't bode well for the information that you offer in payment. Why does she devour souls? How does she do it? Are you speaking in hyperbole, or are there actual rituals involved? Is she a daemonic entity?"

Huntarr:

"Do not think she is Daemonic or else the imperium would of had her destroyed long ago. She is relic from Haarlock's time who still remains and is well past her time. I believe you are seeking someone if you do this I can lead you to this someone and give you the thrones I already spoke of."

Spoiler:

"Who do you think I seek?"

Huntarr:

Grist makes a serious face.

"Marcus Vulpa of course."

Spoiler:

Huntarr glances towards the woman, a growing look of anger on his face that he quickly clamps down.

"What equipment can you provide?" he asks through clenched teeth.

Huntarr:

Grist looks you over and your equipment. He motions to one of his men to bring over some gear.

"This will be deducted from the thrones your promised when you return with her head at a discounted price of course."

A suit of Guard Flak Armour, Silencer, Red-Dot Laser Sight, Strummer and 15 rounds of Man-Stopper Bullets are put down in front of you.

"That should be enough to get the job done."

Spoiler:

"This should be a good start. I need a few other things, but I may be able to acquire them myself. Do you have a way for me to identify the Spider Bride? I wouldn't want to kill the wrong person."

Initiative 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Huntarr:

He provides you a picture of her.

Spider Bride

"Vile creature not hard to miss if you ask me."

Triple Death:

Init Order:
Baddy 3 - 9
Illidan - 8
Constantine - 8
Baddy 1 - 8
Baddy 2 - 7
Baddy 4 - 7
Auraxis - 6

"Tick tock tick tock time to die!" One of the men yell as he charges forward with his pretty knife and slashes at Constantine.

Attack 1d100 ⇒ 76
The attack goes wild and misses.

Illidan your up! If you don't have quickdraw takes 1/2 action to pull weapon out unless you do a hurried action but then you incur a -10% to attack. For flamer would give them +10% to their dodge.

Triple Death:

Ignore the Hurried rule I posted that doesn't apply in these type of combat situations. If you don't have quickdraw you can just pull your weapon and do standard attack if you with or any other half action.

Trilogy:

"Ok, maggots let's do this the easy way."
Illidan places his palms together making some intricate hand signs and let's forth a wave of mental warp energy.
spasm Target is the guy with the gun wearing armor.
3d10 + 5 ⇒ (10, 8, 1) + 5 = 24
illdans attack is successful. With 17 points over. I will attempt to spasm the other 3 bad guys as well. They get will power checks. If the guy with the guy is effected and his gun is drawn he has to shoot the closest guy to him.

illidan readies his hand cannon.
Prone targets +10 ballistic. -20 dodge

Trilogy:

Baddy 1 WP Check 1d100 ⇒ 23 vs 30
Baddy 2 WP Check 1d100 ⇒ 11 vs 30
Baddy 3 WP Check 1d100 ⇒ 73 vs 30
Baddy 4 WP Check 1d100 ⇒ 64 vs 40

2 of the men standing in the doorway don't seem to be affected. The one in front of Constantine that took a swing at him falls to the ground spazzing and the one in armor begins to spazz on the ground as well. He did not have his gun drawn.

Init Order:
Baddy 3 - 9 (Prone)
Illidan - 8
Constantine - 8
Baddy 1 - 8
Baddy 2 - 7
Baddy 4 - 7 (Prone)
Auraxis - 6

Constantine Up

Spoiler:

Huntarr accepts the picture. "You want her head? That means up-close. I can do it, but it'll cost you another five hundred.

Huntarr:

Papa Grist rubs his chin eyeballing you closely. The other two who brought you over seem a bit on edge at you demanding more from Papa.

"Deal. But you will not see it till you return with her head."

Spoiler:

Huntarr nods, and glances at the two stooges. "If you will kindly escort me back to where you found me, I'll be about my new business."

He gathered up the gear, and prepared to go back to the Arena.

Huntarr:

The big man points in the direction you came from.

"Pretty easy to find yourself back yourself."

You head back to where the woman was and you see her not to far from where you originally met.

Spoiler:

"We meet again. So, now that the interruptions are dealt with, what's your name?"

Huntarr:

She smiles as she sees you.

"My name is Lady Du'Landra Melua what is yours fine sharpshooter."

Spoiler:

"Huntarr is the name I've been called since my childhood. It's as good as any. Slumming it for the festivities?"

Huntarr:

She looks around as if she's trying to determine if anyone is watching them.

"Can we talk someplace a little less crowded?"

Spoiler:

Huntarr seems to consider for a moment.

"That depends. Where did you have in mind?"

Huntarr:

She grabs your hand and leads you down some streets where there is less activity and then turns back to you.

"I'm in need of your assistance. You are very skilled with the gun and need someone to help me find my brother! He was kidnapped not to long ago and is here in the city someplace but can not find him! I fear for his life!"

She pulls out a picture and he has a similar likeness to her.

"His name is La'rax Melua. Please help me!"

She looks very distressed and about to cry.

Spoiler:

Huntarr takes the picture and examines it closely before returning it to her.

(Was he in the pits with us?)

Huntarr:

No he wasn't.

Spoiler:

Huntarr slowly shakes his head.

"I do not recognize him, I'm afraid. What makes you think he is here? Has there been a ransom demand? Any idea who took him?"

Huntarr:

She begins to sob a little.

"I flew all the way here from Malfi after he was abducted several months ago. My father did not wish to do anything and forbid me from coming here! I found out he was here by buying the information from a seer-craft. I just want him back and will do anything to make it happen.

Spoiler:

Huntarr placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"I have reason to believe that we have mutual goals in this. You want to recover your brother, and I want to destroy the people that I suspect took him. Let me tell you how I came here, and why I suspect this."

Without going into detail about the killing, Huntarr will explain his circumstance and the fact that he wasn't alone. He will stress that her brother was not with them in the Pits, but that he came across the name Melua after their escape.

"I will help you find your brother or avenge him as necessary, and perhaps my current allies will help, as well. But it will take time. And it will take resources that we do not currently have. Even now, I need to sell scavenged equipment to try to get operating capital. Are you willing to help with this in exchange?"

Huntarr:

After hearing his story she has the look of shock on her face and slowly collects herself.

"What you describe does not sound like something a Beast House would do with all the probing and such but more of a cultist organization. My funds are limited here as i'm doing this against my fathers will but I can see what I can come up with. If you are able to save him i'm sure my family will be more than happy to compensate you and your friends."

Spoiler:

"I have considered the possibility of a heretical faction using the Best House for a smokescreen. I've only been able to ascertain the identity of Jackal Mask as one Markus Vulpa. He did not seem happy with what Heron Mask was doing, and I think Heron Mask is the mover behind the heresy. What can you tell me about your family history, and any connection with the Haarlock lineage?"

Huntarr:

"I know that my family is distantly related to the House of Haarlock. Why does that matter?"

Spoiler:

"Heron Mask is after something or someone related to that Lineage. I suspect that's why your brother was taken. If we can figure out why he took your brother, we may figure out where he's taken him. So, I would say that it matters a great deal."

Huntarr:

She has a look of terror when you lay it out like that.

"If that's the case then we must hurry! My brother is in serious danger."

Spoiler:

"Then tell me everything you know."

Huntarr:

"All I know if my father didn't want me coming here. He was scared for my brother but also for me if I came here. Think it had something to do with this festival but i'm not sure. Our family has had a lot of strange things happen due to our distant relation ship with the House of Haarlock but this is the first I've seen someone be abducted! Our families have dark histories but mine follows the laws of the Imperium and do not deserve this!"

Spoiler:

"I have seen nothing to lead me to believe that your family is more than a victim of happenstance. I will aid you in recovering your brother. Where are you staying? I will gather my companions tonight and come to you. We need to figure out what Heron Mask is after. That's the only way to help your brother. Go back to your rooms and barricade yourself in until we come for you. While you wait, prepare everything you know about your family and the Haarlock history. It's of the utmost import."

Huntarr:

She writes something on a piece of paper and hands it to you kissing you on the cheek.

"May the emperor protect us all."

She walks off to do as you asked.

Spoiler:

"Indeed. Be careful. Make sure you are not followed."

Huntarr heads off in the direction of the merchants.

He shops for various equipment.

Spoiler:

Huntarr will head to the Library after he has completed his shopping, since that's where his companions were headed. He wants to fill them in on this new information.

Huntarr:

It's mid to late afternoon by now and you will need to pay for transportation as it's quite far away. Will only cost you 5 thrones to get there.

We will hold there for you until the others catch up your a bit ahead of them. It's holiday weekend so may not get any posts till after monday.

Trio of Doom:

2 of the men standing in the doorway don't seem to be affected by Illidans power. The one in front of Constantine that took a swing at him falls to the ground spazzing and the one in armor begins to spazz on the ground as well. He did not have his gun drawn.
