Not a botch per see but each 1 rolled removes 1 success. Thus 3 successes less 2 1's gives you 1 success. Spending a point of Willpower gives you 2 successes. 3 successes is generally considered necessary for completion of a task Alessandro is still soaking wet so there are circumstance modifiers.
Let me check your post inthe game thread that will be my final arbitration.
Fin I am interested, will see what I can pull together tonight.

Alessandro one success is less than marginal. Part of why you got singed the first time around.

Not to be a creep, but does this scene again one willpower for Alessandro?
Nature - Survivor
No matter what happens, no matter the odds or opposition, the Survivor always manages to pull through. Whether alone or with a group, the Survivor's utter refusal to accept defeat often makes the difference between success and failure. Survivors are frustrated by others' acceptance of "what fate has in store" or willingness to withstand less than what they can achieve. Outcasts, street folk, and idealists may well be Survivor Archetypes. A Kindred Survivor might be a renegade under a Prince's edict of Blood Hunt, an erstwhile Bishop forced from power, or a lowly Nosferatu who finds himself kicked from hunting ground to hunting ground with no acknowledged claim of domain. Regain one point of Willpower whenever you survive a threatening situation through tenacity, or when your counsel causes someone else to persist in spite of opposition.

I would agree with that Alessandro, the one you spent, you will get back once the scene is over.
FYI guys, please feel free to post in Discussion thread if you believe you should get Willpower back for roleplaying Natures and Demeanors (as Alessandro did above), that is something I have little time to consider. Thank you!

and 3 more makes 13...
With some modifications to flesh out some issues, I have decided to accept all 3 submissions, assuming they are agreeable with what I have requested.
This means that each of the 13 Clans will be represented in this Chronicle. I think you will find the direction that it takes, interesting to say the least.

Yes Lorenzo, LOT of 1's for everyone lately!
One of my NPC's had his successes negated by 1's and was forced in Rotschreck! Alas, the dice roller is a cousin to a Gambler's Lady Luck and as often as we get 7's we also get snake eyes.
I am slammed at work today. No updates till this evening.
I hope to hear from the other two new Players during the day today so I can begin to incorporate them into this night.

This dice roller loves the damn 1's....
Only need to incorporate Giovanni into the game and will do so once he finishes his stats.
Cantor, hope you like you spoiler :-)
Storyteller Shadow
Never mind, will have to wait a few minutes for that it seems. Onto further posting.

Vampires I have now included all levels of Disciplines which you have selected thus far in the Campaign Info tab for ease of reference.
As your numbers multiply, I will continue to fill in the Tab.
I have also updated it for all NPC's (or at least 99% of NPC's who knows, I may have missed a few).

Thanks, will change, guess I had blurred vision for a second there. Hey, at least I did not call i the Blue Oyster....

Hey fellas!
Alessandro mentions Crusades a couple of times. I'm no historian, as is painfully obvious ("to the Pain... I will leave you, your ears...")!
I think we may be between Crusades. An interlude. But, in guessing there was still military/police activity related to crusade activity/aftermath.
There should have been some stuff going on in or around Turkey and or North Africa.
If we say Alessandro is a little older, early thirties? He may have been involved in such activity. He may have been attached to his first mission at a young age as a rite of passage. Ordeal or proving ground.
Also, I don't need his to be a Knight or Saracen per se... He may have been part of a private force on tangential missions with the purpose of: support, mercy, trade, protection detail, recovery of antiquities, rescue VIPs or smaller settlements, education, etc...
Sometimes, he would have helped Muslim forces, other times Christian... most likely not against each other but to accomplish a mission deemed "good" or "useful" by his father or fellow businessmen.
This falls in with the Urbane specialty for Charisma.
Hope that makes sense.
Also works with operating as a visionary, but being a survivor at his core.
And with being picked by Clan Ventrue, having been bred for leadership from a early age, thinking strategically, acting tactically... seeing big picture and rising above the fray.

Alessandro the last of the Crussade ended in almost total failure in the holy land at the end of the XIII th century. (the crusaders lost every once of land they held by 1298) and retreated for ever into europe
The following 200 years were wars against the ottoman empire to prevent them from expending in Greater Europe (like trying to stop their advance toward and into Bulgaria)

Thanks!
As Khadaji Shipping probably services from Tripoli to Tangier, throughout the Mediterranean (as its core service area)... The Ottoman is of interest.
Some few routes may take them up and around to Scandia or down and maybe overland into Asia.
Conflict is both good and bad for business. This is not to say, they are politically powerful in any way, just hooks for "interest".

NO for tomorrow waaaay too much work.
Yes for tomorrow night Undermountain Dungeon Crawl.
Saturday just a lot of errands so neutral though I will be spending time with my daughter so that is a big YES! :-)
Storyteller Shadow
The dice roller is really hating you these days Andrew....
Will provide further updates tomorrow. Time to sleep!
Storyteller Shadow
Time where we will discuss what you do but not play through it in excruciating detail as we are now.
It is also a way to fast forward to the next section of the Campaign I want to focus on, the beginning of the Conclave.
Storyteller Shadow
Will update tomorrow at work if I can if not Saturday as I have table top DnD again tomorrow night.
Michael Santo
Michael will lay with anya, stroking her hair, holding her close until she falls asleep. Michael will dress tucking the dagger.
.oO( I guess I will find Sergei and keep and eye on him. Should i run into Fahdi I will have something to report)
As Michael steps into the night. The coldest chill passes him by. A sharp dread begins to creep into his mind. He is bound by blood to Fahdi. He has been given many great things. What if he never returns.
Storyteller Shadow
What kind of dog?
I have 2 Great Danes!
MIchele Querini is a huge fan of theirs when they drool all over him at table top D&D games :-)
Storyteller Shadow
I have never seen that breed before, some serious color variations.
I have a Black and a Blue Dane. Love those pups.
Enjoy!
