"يموت شيطان!"
Khatijah drops her dagger and grips tempest with both hands, fury blazes in her eyes as she grows and rage drives her blade deep.

The beast howls in pain as Tempest cuts deeply into his belly, opening his intestines to the foul air.
Kezurkian (25 damage)
The beast begins howling in the air attempting to call for aid. When no one answers he attempts to take out the wielder of such a foul weapon

Well...somebody just rage quit this fight. This is a heal roll of the off chance she's alive (something about hero points?)
Heal 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Well that was a wasted effort, for all I know both halves of her are alive
Taldor looks at the carnage silently for a moment, then he opens up the aggresive side of himself and lets his fury loose. He gets low and feigns left before turning around and trying to swipe the creatures legs out from under it
Trip 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
There's a new look on Taldor's face as he begins his assault. No tough joy at the thrill of combat, no fierce determination as he fights a difficult opponent. There's a dark, dangerous look on his face. His moves are no longer that of a strategic war veteran, now they are of a trained killer

Tolus the Serpent Servant |

Khat's eviceration sends Tolus into flashbacks for a moment to a rare time of cruelty just before he was surrendered to the City of Khataphesh. It was under this last Master that he suffered his worst abuses and saw most of his friends meet their doom. Visions of starving slaves being sent to their deaths against savage beasts for dinnertime amusement flash before his eyes followed by a wave overwhelming grief and a great, uncontrollable need to visit bloody Vengence for Khat upon the beast and tear it limb from limb.
When he is again aware of himself, he has dropped his rapier and is wailing on the beast with his bare fists.
To those on the outside of his mind, it appears as if Tolus simply looses it. He screams, drops his weapon, and starts wailing on the monster with his fists. What's more, the blows look like they might actually do damage.
again, maintain flank and attack, +4 to attacks if enemy is prone
flurry: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

The Gnoll continues his attacks:
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

Arizhel |

Looking horrified at the rapid destruction of her friends, Arizhel moves to the most quiet out of the way spot possible, and attempts to hide stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26. Once relatively assured of safety, she summons an eagle opposite one of the gnolls.
To Hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
To Hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
To Hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Gnoll:
CHarGe!
To Hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

And once again the eagles come to the rescue, Gandal....I mean Arizhel
With talon and beak the celestial eagle puts the foul creature to rest.
What to do with the Gnolls.
I need the weekend to type up what happens to Khat. By the way Khat's gnoll and Malak's gnoll were destroyed by his burning hands blast.

Tolus the Serpent Servant |

RP time, for me at least
Tolus doesn't stop once the beast falls, he keeps wailing on the thing, breaking bones and skin, turning his knuckles the color of demon blood. He sobs and screams in turns as he pounds, almost drilling a hole into the chest cavity of the very dead enemy.

Fionnbharanel |

just an fyi - I'm still here, just nothing to do as Fionn is quite unconscious...

Tolus the Serpent Servant |

Tolus finally realizes the target is dead after several seconds. He turns to the group of enemies down the street, his vertical pupils contracted into thin, dangerous slits.
He clenches his fists at his sides squeezing blood and bits of flesh from his gloves to drip slowly onto the ground.
YOU HAVE SLAIN TWO OF MY FRIENDS! he screams at them, I WILL CARVE THEIR NAMES INTO YOUR FLESH BEFORE I SEND YOU SCREAMING INTO THE ABYSS!
That may or may not have an impact on the already intimidated Gnolls down the road.
He also obviously doesn't know that khat and fionn are still alive.

Fionnbharanel |

stabilize: 1d20 ⇒ 20
haha a 20 - auto success- she's stable at -2

![]() |

You finish of the schir demon and start addressing the wounds of your fallen companion unfortunately Khat seems to be beyond saving. You turn you attention to Fionn momentarily. When you glance back you see the wounds being knit together by the mold then in an instance Khat's eyes open and she jerks up gasping for air. Khat you are now at 0 hp

![]() |

Taldor continued to stare at the dead body of the demon with a dark look in his eyes. After a moment he gives a loud cry and with a furious swing plants his hammer in the creatures body.
Taldor helps in the first aid where he can, handing cloths or water over. When Khat gasps his entire posture changes and he runs over "Khat! Khat, are you ok?"

Khatijah |

The first thing that Khat notices isn't that she's somehow alive, or that her friends seem okay. It is the blinding, searing pain from her wounds and the feeling of drowning. Her gasps quickly turn to hacking coughs as she tries to breath. Rolls on her side as best she can and spits up blood and can finally catch her breath.
"Wh-wut happen'd?"

Khatijah |

"I guess that's why I don't feel so good."
She tries to smile, but can't do much more than make a half-hearted attempt. Drinking was a little easier, but it's obvious that without some help, she's not doing much of anything for a long time.
"Hey, Taldor, I have a scar I can brag about now."

Fionnbharanel |

don't forget your cleric is lying unconscious and bloody on the ground and can't walk.

Tolus the Serpent Servant |

Taldor, I and possibly malak are the only ones left capable of any kind of stealth. Take Fionn and Khat and fall back across the bridge. I'll be right back. Malak can come if he desires, but he may be needed with youall. While I'm gone youall can work out what kind of magics are on those things we found in that other beastie's lair.
Without waiting for a reply, Tolus motions for his Gnoll to stick with the party and moves out, sticking to cover and moving cautiously but quickly to retrieve the snake head.
stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
precept: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

![]() |

Oh crap Fion, for some reason I thought we had healed you. yeahh 4 hours of sleep
After it's clear Khat is at least alive and stable, Taldor makes his way over to Fion. He gently rests her head on his pack "I need some help o'er here" he looks down at Fion, then leans over and listens for her breathing
Heal 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

Fionnbharanel |

She's breathing and seems to be stable... just unconscious

Khatijah |

Types of Justice:
human- put them on trial, followed by executing them in a "humane" way
elf- execute them artistically/prissily
dwarf- drop the hammer on them.
orc- execute them brutally
halfling- execution by overfeeding (if you're gonna go, might as well go in a way that makes you happy.)
gnoll- same as orc, followed by dinner
gnome- execute them using some random implement from the kitchen/shed/workbench/pantry/lingerie chest.
....
I think I got them all.

Fionnbharanel |

Hey, I resent that... Fionn is a gnome and if she were awake, she'd be all for the dwarf method. Her lingerie chest is back at home, things might be different if she had it here with her.. lol
