she is technically stunned until the end of your turn, due to me counting the one round from immeditaly after failed save, and cannot take the reaction. In light of that, she looses her dex bonus and you get a +4 to cmb check. With your roll now being an 11, +1 being awesome, a 12 is exactly what you need.
Thalrik really steps up and with a valiant cry he rushes forward, attempting to grapple the demon! The creature tries to flap away to get out of reach in the center of the pool. But Thalrik is quick when he is angry. And he snatches the demon, successfully grappling it! The bravery and courage and all around awesomeness of Thalrik Korun on that day is still sung in taverns across the land.

Idril Ssethan |

Grinning at the sight of Thalrik grappling an imp, Idril twirls up to (Y,25) and swings her bladed scarf at the sinspawn.
Masterwork Scarf, bladed: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 for a possible 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 slashing damage.

Fraadok |

Round 2
With the Sinspawn still stunned, Fraadok jumps into action.
Seeing the bravery of Thalrik and thinking that they should do more to help him run out of spells, Fraadok moves forward and strikes at the grappled creature. Move to X28

Round 2
Erylium snaps back to her senses, and struggles against Thalrik's grapple.
Concentration Check (DC 12): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Her eyes glow white as she screeches and works some witchy magic to place a hex on Thalrik.
"Curses to you! Sleep, foolish wizard!"
Using the slumber hex, DC 15 WIll save or fall asleep
Thalrik Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
The witch attempts to hex, Thalrik, but he just keeps holding on and shrugs off the spell.
_____________________________________________________________
The sinspawn is stunned for another 3 rounds.
_____________________________________________________________
Idril swirls and twirls her way up the the stumbling Sinspawn, and then swings her bladed scarf at it. Her scarf blade sails just inches past its head, and just barely misses.
______________________________________________________________
Fraadok steps up, unsheathing his longspear, and then manages to maneuver it between Thalrik and stab the demon in the side, clipping her for 6 damage. The creature shrieks its displeasure.

Thalrik Korun |

Sounding uncharacteristically panicked, Thalrik shrieked at Arthur "Kill it, kill it, KILL IT!!! AAAAH" Somehow he managed to hold on in spite of everything
Maintain Grapple: 1d20 + 1 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 1 + 5 = 21 Since she didn't escape, I get a +5 to maintain the grapple
Pulling against the force of her flapping wings, he slammed her into the floor, driving his knee into her chest "Quickly, take over, I don't think I can hold her!!"
Since I managed to maintain the grapple, I can choose to pin her....so I do. Being pinned, she loses her Dex bonus and takes an additional -4 penalty to AC. Basically her CMD is non-existent, so as long as Arthur doesn't roll a 1 he can grapple her and make it much harder for her to break free.

Thalrik Korun |

Problem is, while grappling, Thalrik possesses a mighty CMD of 11. Factoring the size penalty, and BAB of our enemy, id think shes still got a 50/50 shot of breaking the grapple...wont be able to turn invisible on the same turn though, so theres that.

Fraadok |

I have a meeting I need to go to for the next few hours, so I am going to post before I leave, as we have a good pace going.
Round 3
Fraadok has rope and will help tie her up, if you still have her grappled after her turn.
[dice=Tie-up Opponent]20+3[/dice]
If not still grappled, Fraadok will stab at her with his Longspear.

DajellyMan |

EDIT: edited the whole post, you are right, Fraadok, his CMD is 13 and she didn't break grapple.
round 3
Erylium spits at the wizard as he pins her down to the ground. You don't think she brushed her teeth in about 900 years.
"release me, stupid human! Can't you see your demise is inevitable? Letmegoletmegoletmegoillkillyouletmego!!!!"
break grapple: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
The creature struggles as hard as it can against the wizard, but she cannot seem to find any way to break free. Her eyes flash wide with fear and anger and she screeches and spits and screams in a language you don't understand.
___________________________________________________________________________ ___________
Since the Sinspawn is still stunned and blinded, everyone else can go ahead and post their round 3 actions.
On his turn, Fraadok will run up to Thalrik and start tying up the creature. She puts up a fight, but so far, Fraadok is able to restrain her and continue tying her up.
Fraadok, I'm am going to have you keep making a check for a couple rounds to see if you do tie her up completely. I know you are pretty cool, but I don't know if Fraadok is tie someone up in 6 seconds cool.
Fraadok Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
As he is tying her up, Fraadok notices that the creature appears relatively unharmed, despite being hit a few times.
Fraadok, you take a -10 to the CMB check, but a 13 still beats it (barely though).

Idril Ssethan |

Round 3
Looking concerned, Idril spins and swings her bladed scarf at the sinspawn.
Masterwork Scarf, bladed: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 miss.
"Gentlemen, if you're done beating up an imp, don't forget the Sinspawn!"

Thalrik Korun |

Is this the part where I mention that the Grappled condition applies a -4 Dex penalty, bringing Thalriks CMD down to 11? That being said, im surprised shes got a +6 to her CMB. The -2 size penalty and im assuming a low Str (8?) would mean a BAB of 9 to hit 6 CMB O.o

DajellyMan |

O.O
but... I already edited it... And set DCs and wrote a whole dialogue for the interrogation (not even the RotRL book contains what to do if the wizard grapples this boss. Apparently they never thought that could happen)
... /face palm. You are right of course, and I should have never doubted you. I suppose I just ignored the fact that you would be also grappled. Well... I'm torn about what to do now lol.

DajellyMan |

round 3
The very confused and scared Sinspawn stumbles about blind and stunned, trying to find some way to channel all it's wrath and hatred. All of a sudden, it feels another bash to the side if it's skull. ow... it thinks to itself.
Arthur stands by with a grin similar to a child hitting a piñata. I guess it is sorta the same.
creature takes another 6 damage (12 total) and is very badly injured.

DajellyMan |

Oh, right, that was the end of round 3...
Top of Round 4
Thalrik is up and then Erylium
___________________________________________________________________________ _______
On her turn, Erylium will continue to struggle against Thalrik in the hopes of getting away before she is tied up.
If she fails this check, which she most likely will, then her capture is a sure thing, assuming Fraadok makes his check (which he probably will)
Break Grapple: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Would ya look at that... Well, let's see what Thalrik does on his turn to see if she actally breaks out. Thalrik, because Fraadok is helping you, you'll get a +2 to maintain grapple, and another +2 for her being partially tied up.

Thalrik Korun |

Well it doesnt much matter what I do really, Thalrik would just maintain the grapple and assist in tying her up. If thats not enoughm shes scot free with that roll
Maintain grapple: 1d20 + 1 + 5 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 1 + 5 + 2 + 2 = 21
Following Fraadoks lead, Thalrik started to assist in tying up the little creature, struggling to keep hold, like a fisherman trying to keep a grip on an eel.

DajellyMan |

well, I'm going to leave it up to Fraadok then. She breaks free from Thalrik's grapple, but if the cleric can make a grapple check to grab her before she completely gets away she will remain grappled. I couldn't find any rules for exactly how to go about breaking grapple when two people are grappling so... Anyways!
Fraadok grapple: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Aha!!! The DM is still in the fight!!
Erylium finally worms her way free and then flies straight up to the ceiling(30' up). Screaming at Thalrik, she points a finger at him, and then brings it across her throat in a slicing motion.
Everyone else can go ahead and post. Also, thalrik, you do have some scrolls and wands, you could fireball her face.

Idril Ssethan |

Round 4
Frustrated at her poor performance, Idril spins and swings her bladed scarf at the sinspawn again.
Masterwork Scarf, bladed: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 for a possible 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 slashing damage.

DajellyMan |

Round 4
Idril twirls in rapid circles, letting her scarf swing out a little farther each rotation, until with a fluid twist she send the blade swirling perfectly at the sinspawn's throat, severing its head. Epic.
sinspawn is dead. Arthur, you could always throw something at the boss ;p or shout. Oh and speaking of things... Are you familiar with alan moore's swamp thing?
Edit: oh, Arthur, you also get an AoO

DajellyMan |

Ok, well, you are a wood mystery oracle so... just saying. I gots plans!
Round 4
Arthur swings his mighty club very mightily at the quasit when she begins to fly away, but fuel by her rage at being pinned by a wizard, she manages to avoid the attack.
Thalrik AoO: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2
Fraadok AoO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Thalrik, worn out from being a champion of coolness, feebly tries to swing at the creature as it flies upwards, but swings wild and completely misses her.
Fraadok manages to glance her with his longspear, dealing 4 damage, but the creature appears to shrug it off.
So, Arthur and Fraadok, you both still have a round 4 action and then it will be the top of round 5 and Thalrik's turn again. Arthur, I figure you can come up with something you would rather do than close some already closed doors (:

Thalrik Korun |

How far to the ceiling? If the 30 feet she flew up is the extent of it, Thalrik does the following
Noting the distance between the creature and his allies, Thalrik unrolled his scroll, reciting the incantation of a spell held within. This should help Fraadok, get out your longspear."
Moments later, Fraadok started growing.
Full Round Action to cast Enlarge Person on Fraadok, letting him easily reach the quasit (20 feet of reach + height should do it)

Fraadok |

Round 4
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Seeing the demon fly out of his reach and recognizing the spell Thalrick is casting, Fraadok casts Divine Favor on himself.
He then steps back 5ft in anticipation of he growth. (X28 I believe)
As an FYI for the group, there is also a wand of Magic Weapon at my feet.

Thalrik is hit by the force of her spell, and still feeling winded, he is unable to resist the attack!
Thalrik is paralyzed for 3 rounds!
Fly Check to remain hovering: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
Everyone else, go ahead and post round 5 action!

Thalrik Korun |

Full Round Action Will to break free: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Falling out of the pose he had just moments ago been stuck in, Thalrik quickly retorted "How does it feel? Why don't you come down here and ill tell you all about it."

Fraadok |

Round 5
Fraadok delays a moment as the growth transformation completes it process. During that time he tries to remember anything else about Quasits or general effects, trying figure out why the creature is not taking was able to shrug off some or all of the damage dealt ot it so far.
Kn Planes: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
With the transformation complete, he takes aim and thrusts with his longspear.
Longspear: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 13
Damage Longspear: 2d6 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 14
Edit: These low rolls are killin me.
"You might want to use the wand on Idril's scarf as she has a range weapon.", Fraadok says after seeing his disappointing martial display.
Edit2: Forgot to include the size penalty to the attack... nothing like making the results even lower. ;)

"Never mind about the sinspawn." Idril said as she flicked off the blood drops on her bladed scarf. Eyeing the imp flying overhead and out of reach, she folded her reinforced scarf into sling mode, dropped a random stone in, wound it up and let fly at the little demon.
Sling: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 for a possible 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 crush damage.

DajellyMan |

Round 5
Thalrik will break out of the Hold Person spell at the top of round 6. Fraadok, unfortunately your Knowledge rolls were unable to provide you with any more information... However, your original check of 18 is close enough to know this...
Fraadok, you know that the tiny demons called quasits are not the strongest of demons by far, but they are incredibly resilient. They possess DR 5/good or cold iron, and fast healing 2.
___________________________________________________________________________ __________
Idril, adreneline still pumping from beheading the Sinspawn, pulls out another one of her scarves and uses it to sling a stone up at the quasit.
*Thunk!* Her attack scores a direct hit, dealing 7 damage!
Idril Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
___________________________________________________________________________ __________
Fraadok grows to about twice his height, thanks to Thalrik's Enlarge Person spell. With his long spear glowing blue with the tell-tale sign of magic enhancement, he stabs up towards the tiny creature flying near the ceiling.
The quasit casts a sort of worried glance at Fraadok, noticing that he know poses quite a threat to her. In her panic, she dodges to the side and avoids his attack!
Fly Check: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26
___________________________________________________________________________ __________
Ok, Arthur still has a round 5 action and then we are to top of round 6, with Thalrik breaking free of the spell, then Erylium's turn, and then the rest of you!

Fraadok |

Well I am glad we got the magic weapon and enlarge person going then.
"The creature is begining to heal itself, and it has the means to resist a small amount of our physical damage. We will need blessed weapons or cold forged iron to fully bypass those defenses."
Fraadok watches the creature move about in the air, looking for the opportune moment to strike again.

Fraadok Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Fraadok, as you scan the room from your new vantage point, you notice something strange, a quick shimmer of light coming from out of the pool.
The strange glowing dagger the quasit was wielding (which she dropped into the pool after Thalrik hit her with Color Spray), is actually barely submerged on the very edge of the pool. What is strange, is that the dagger appears to be medium sized, big enough for a person to wield, and it was surely tiny sized earlier...
Perhaps a super smart and courageous grappling wizard would know more.

Fraadok |

But Fraadok is not a wizard. LOL
"Oh woes to us, if only you had a second dagger, Thalrik. You would be able to throw one of them and not be defenseless or limitied to using support magics."
"Thalrik! Look the quasit's dagger is just there, at the edge of the pool."

DajellyMan |

Arthur flicks his wand once more, this time focusing its energies onto Idril's Bladed Scarf. (Lasts one minute, or 10 rounds)
End of Round 5!
Edit: Thalrik, spotting the dagger lying just at the edge of the pool, notices its faint smokey glow, and notices it detects as magical.

Round 6
Thalrik struggles against the parylyzing effects of the quasit's spell, pouring all of his mental power into breaking its power. After a few short seconds and a great deal of mental strain, Thalrik manages to burst through the bonds of the Hold Person spell, freeing himself!
_______________________________________________________________________
Seeing her mortal enemy, "Thalrik the Grappling Wizard", escape from her spell, Erylium flies into an even great rage. Eyes blood shot and burning with the gaze of a thousand evils, she gathers her power into herself and begins chanting the low thrumming rhythm of a summoning spell.
Casting Summon Creature II, full round action, will go off next turn (round 7) unless her concentration is broken.
Cast Defensively DC 19: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Fraadok |

Round 6
Thalrik focuses his attention of the glowing dagger, picking up its magical aura. It detects as faint transmutation, and is definitely a +1 dagger. However, it seems to have a slightly stronger aura than a regular magic dagger, but further study would need to be done on the item to determine what this is. And having in it hand would help.
So, Thalrik, if you want to figure out what it does you will need to grab it and make a spellcraft check.
_______________________________________________
Fraadok lets out a bellowing shout, his voice booming and lower than normal due to his large size. He strikes forth with his long spear, landing a decent blow to the quasit dealing 9 (4) damage!
Concentration Check DC 16: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
The little demon screams as she is hit, loosing her concentration and her spell!
"CURSES YOU FILTH! KEEP PLAYING YOUR LITTLE GAMES! YOU ONLY DELAY YOUR DEATHS! YOU ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO KiLL ME!"
