How long does it take to get to Tarsis the Beautiful from Silvanesti?
It will take a week with the spells the Clerics have memorized. I will be moving you to Tarsis soon. Last few days with Holidays were busy then I sprained my ankle tonight so I am not exactly thinking clearly at the moment.

Soon enough lunch ends and Eddie has some new clothing, ill fitting but no longer tattered.
You are both aboard a ship bound for the City of Landfall in Ergoth. Soon enough you see the city on the horizon.
RP a bit if you each wish to. I do want to move things along a bit by the end of this week.

"Shall we then?" The blue-garbed mage rises, dusting himself off, and waiting for Keyzer to join him in making their way to this ship.

Eddie spends the trip below deck trying to sleep through as much as possible. With two recent incidents nearly involving drowning, even he was nervous at the prospect of yet another voyage.

The ship pulls into the docks, one look from the Black Robe even drives the Kender away, especially as he begins to cast a spell.
Theodore sees not one but [i]two[/] Wizards standing on the docks looking up at the ship expectantly.
Eddie, one of the sailors rouses you from your sleep, "Strange, we are about to disembark. You are back on solid ground".

As the ship docks, a gnome ruhes off of the ship almost before the gangplank makes contact with the dock! He hurries over to you and your new companion Eldren, "Hello,IamTheodoreSameulWaldenGlitterfounder, atyourservice.Iamawizardcometo s eeawizard!" The little gnome looks at them expectantly.

"Ah, hello," the pale mage begins, "...err, The...odore? I think?" He sighs. "I am Eldren Vacaris and as luck would have it I was supposed to meet a gnome wizard at Mount NEvermind. You I take it?"
He then adds after a very brief pause, "Also, could you possibly speak a little... slower?"

Well... we both get five dice and we roll them in the cups, then we try to bluff your opponents into calling you a liar by calling the number of a number rolled... for example. I roll 2 two times. Assuming that is the minimum I guess my opponent has at least one, so I guess 3 twos. If he has more, he can call me a liar and win, but if he doesn't he risks losing himself if he calls me a liar. If you don't want to call me liar, you guess yourself, with a greater number. So using the same example you'd say 4 of a number rolled. And so on until you get called liar or call your opponent a liar It's pirates dice in Dead Man's Chest
| Red-Ohn Gathas |
| Zsar Kizar |
Liars dice: 5d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 3, 1, 1) = 11(look only at what was rolled not the total)
See. I rolled 3 ones. Now I assume you got at least one... or in can bluff. I would want to start with a big amount to throw my opponent off, yet I want to be careful he doesn't call me a liar and get it right. Basically, if I say 4 ones, and he doesn't have a one, or he has enough to make it more than four, if he says liar then I loose... however I could also be strategic and start with three or something else. I can say, "3 three", and try to bluff him. Then say ones later...

Eddie nods his thanks to the sailor and slowly makes his way above deck. After waiting for his eyes to acclimate to the daytime sun, he brushes himself off and heads to the dock. He hovers nearby the gnome that had helped him earlier. While he could run off and try to make his way in town, something told him that sticking around could be a fruitful endeavor as long as he figured out some pretense for it.

The Black Robed Wizard smiles, "Theodore, it seems that there are two Wizards who seek an audience with you. It is... unusual for a member of your race to be interested in Wizardry. That is likely why my Master and the Master of Eldren are so interested in you.
Make no mistake though, we are both mere apprentices to more powerful Wizards. Of course, you can only choose one of our Master's to study with. Therefore, I propose a test to aid you in deciding who to study with.
From my meeting with you, my Master wished for me to journey to Tarsis the Beautiful for trade negotiations. All of us should go. Then along the way you can decide which Master you wish to study with based on your interactions with us. Does this sound agreeable Theodore?"
The Black Robe then pauses and looks at Eddie, "Is this one of your companions?"

"My little friend, does your response mean that you wish us to take up the challenge and prove to you that one is a more worthy Mentor than another? Light versus Dark as they say?"
Behind you all the Captain is screaming at his men to get back on board, it seems he is about to pull out of port once again!
Soze turns to Eddie, "Can yo get him to delay? We will wish to charter that ship elsewhere I think..."

1st Day of Autumn Twilight - 1030 PC – Landfall
"I would not have expected one of your Order to actually be interested in having a gnome as a member," he finally says. "No offense meant Theo, I assure you," he quickly offers the diminutive fellow a sort of apology before turning back to Soze. "I mean, have you thought this through? Where his people tread, explosions follow. And then there is the Test. How would an apprentice of his, a gnome no less, failing it reflect on him?" And then he gets a little closer, his voice growing softer, almost a whisper. "Or worse yet, how would a gnome passing it reflect on your Master's other apprentice, you?"
Kind of trying to convince the Black Robe that the gnome perhaps is not worth his or his Master's investment, at the same time sparing Theodore what is sure to be a rather unpleasant apprenticeship.

8th Day of Autumn Twilight - 1030 PC - Tarsis the Beautiful
Hurudithya Griffontamer
The trip is relatively quick and with the aid of magic and strong backs from House Protector rowing the elven vessel makes excellent time. The trip involves at least one meeting per day among the representatives from House Cleric. Huru is asked few questions and based on her age it seems, those Clerics with her assume that she will do more listening than speaking.
Speaking is all she does with Draven of House Protector. By the time you alnd in Tarsis it is obvious that he is quite smitten with you. Are you with him? Well, we shall see!
As the ship comes near the famed human city of Tarsis the Beautiful, you can understand where it got its name from. While not as majestic as an elven city it has character. Sleek towers, one of the most extensive docks in the world that could accommodate well over 100 ships, and a library that is rumored to be one of the largest in the world.
The volume of ship traffic is breathtaking, the ebb and flow of so many ships, so close together with not one striking another is a testament to the sailing prowess of these humans. The ships of Tarsis stand out among all others, the winged ships are made of vallenwood, or so it is said. Lighter and yet sturdier in craft and appearance, the winged sails seem to lift the ships right out of the water. Even the cynical Draven seems impressed by the vessels.
A harbormaster who sits in the center of the symphony of ships flags down the elven Captain. "Head into slip number one Elf Lord. The procession from the Holy Orders will be there to greet you!"
The Captain imperceptibly nods to the human and heads on a course to take him into slip one. You can see sitting in slip two with a small skeleton crew on board another elven vessel. Draven frowns, "It seems the Qualenesti have beaten us here..."

8th Day of Autumn Twilight - 1030 PC - Tarsis the Beautiful
Remytheus "Remy" Broussard
You are exhausted, Father Dent was not kidding around when he said that it would be a tough, tough week. Even with a day off yesterday you are still beat too bad you could not have spent that day with Kala, you and she seemed to have chemistry the week before. Kala was busy though giving the Qualinesti elven contingent a tour of the city, seems she can speak elven!
Today the Silvanesti elves arrive. You are assigned to give them a tour of the city. Your parents had mentioned Silvanesti lineage when they were alive to Father Dent. You explained that would be a drawback and not a feature for the haughty Silvanesti but Father Dent believed that your fluent elven would be sufficient for you to represent the Church for their initial tour of the city.
Finished with morning prayers you see that it is time to make your way to the docks and for the first time meet full blooded Silvanesti elves...

8th Day of Autumn Twilight - 1030 PC - Tarsis the Beautiful
Eddie Richter, Eldren Vacaris, Theodore Samuel Waldan Glitterfounder & Rin Doodletwirl
Eddie is amazed at the time the ship made in getting to Tarsis the Beautiful! Full wind at the back of the sails with each day and nary a rain cloud in sight, a far cry from his previous sea voyage. The crew takes a liking to Eddie and ask him to stay on to crew the ship, The Dauntless when it ships back out of port. Eddie though has had a better offer from Keyser Soze. The Black Robe will pay two gold per day to stay in Tarsis until the task his Master has set for him has been complete!
Eldren while enjoying the voyage has a hard time getting a read on Theodore. The gnome clearly has a thirst for knowledge but does that thirst spill over into forbidden lore or does the gnome have scruples? Soze is a cagey and formidable opponent in his own right. Even without the spells of enchantment the man may have made an excellent salesman or preacher, his charm is undeniable. Hell, he makes his Master seem so wonderful that Eldren often considers whether he should switch allegiances. Sometimes on the trip. Eldren believes he catches sight of a kender stowaway but as soon as he sees that little top knot it's gone again!
Theodore is torn, what to do, what to do? Both of these apprentice Wizards make their Masters seem to be the right choice for him. The ship travel just has not given him enough time to male a decision. Perhaps this his first trip from Mount Nevermind will clear his head enough for him to make a choice!
Rin can sense from the tone of the Captain as she stands watching the ship from the dock that he does not like kender very much. No it is unlikely that he would allow her to buy passage on the ship, instead she can make sport of it! Will he and the crew find you? Only time will tell but the urge to just, get out of here, it's so strong you have to go! Plus Eldren is going to go and you never got a chance to say hi to you old acquaintance what with that unpleasant black robed wizard following him around! The ship trip is no different that black robe and Eldren are trying to recruit of all things a gnome! Who know, maybe kender will be inviting to the Orders of High Sorcery next!?
---
Finally as the ship comes near the famed city of Tarsis the Beautiful, you can all understand where it got its name from. Ergoth has nothing, not even its capital, that is quite like this. Sleek towers, one of the most extensive docks in the world that could accommodate well over 100 ships, and a library that is rumored to be one of the largest in the world. Though perhaps Palanthus in Solamnia would dispute that claim!
The volume of ship traffic is breathtaking, the ebb and flow of so many ships, so close together with not one striking another is a testament to the sailing prowess of the ship Captains. The ships of Tarsis stand out among all others, the winged ships are made of vallenwood, or so Eddie claims. Lighter and yet sturdier in craft and appearance, the winged sails seem to lift the ships right out of the water.
The Harbormaster directs your ship to slip 3. As the Captain begins to pull into port his first mate points to a nearby ship. "That is an elven ship! By the Gods I had never thought to see one that was not trying to burn me down o the seas for venturing too close to their territory, I wonder what they are doing here?"

8th Day of Autumn Twilight - 1030 PC - Worldscape Forest
Red-Ohn Gathas & Zsar Kizar
A week passes slowly. Red is taken for a tour of the forest by Zsar, quite a beautiful place if you are an elf or a Druid but for a Minotaur the tranquility is tedious. There are rumored to be deadly creatures here that Red longs to hunt but Zsar advises against such an action.
Instead, the two opt for dice. A lot of dice. By week's end Red is finally catching on though he loses more than he wins. One of the wild elves enters the humble abode where the two creatures currently stay. "The Arch Druid would see you both". The elf does not accompany you as both of you know where to go.
The great clearing is devoid of life save for the Arch Druid. He smiles warmly at you both. "Come sit".
After you are seated near him, he begins, "My scouts tell me that no new fleet is amassing from Falthana. It seems our spells and their losses have dissuaded them from further attacks. Red-Ohn Gathas you wish to fight to free your people as do you Zsar. I fear that I cannot support such an endeavor. Nature abhors violence and the misery it causes is not something I would add to.
That does not mean that I can prevent you for seeking out aid for such a cause, I will give you leave to do so if you so desire..."
Another Druid flies out of the sky and into the clearing turning from a bird to his human form, "Arch Druid, something in the air and swift this way comes. We believe they are Wyverns!"

8th Day of Autumn Twilight - 1030 PC - Tarsis the Beautiful
Theo (having learned his lesson on his previous voyage), determine to stay in the captain's good graces, decided to spend the fast voyage tinkering around with crafting some easy items. The little gnome mostly keeps to himself, pondering the decisions that have been quickly pressed upon him...
Associated School: Conjuration.
Replacement Powers: The following school powers replace the acid dart power and the dimensional steps power of the conjuration school.
Create Gear (Su): At 1st level, you can create any object that weighs no more than 1 pound per wizard level you possess. Creating an object in this way is a standard action. The Item remains for 1 minute before fading away, although it disappears after one round if it leaves your possession. Creating an Item to an exact specification might require a Craft skill check, subject to GM discretion. The object must be made of simple materials, such as wood, stone, glass, or metal, and cannot contain any moving parts. You could use this ability to create a dagger, but not a vial of alchemist’s fire. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.

As you disembark you find that the representative who was supposed to meet you has yet to arrive...
However, you do see a ship a few slips down where exit a motley band. Three humans and a gnome. One human is clearly some kind of sailor whereas the two wizards could not be more opposite form one another as one wears white and the other black robes!
The head of the Protectors assigned to the trip Hexare leans in to Regulus' ear. Regulus responds, "We shall hold here my friend. Wandering in such a large city without our guide would be a mistake".

Most of the them appear to be Nobles. One in particular stands out from the rest, she is clearly the youngest and among the females the most beautiful.
Soze turns back to the rest of you, "Elves in Tarsis the Beautiful. This may have never happened before, I wonder why they are here..."

The Arch Druid casts a spell and a wave of energy issues forth from his staff heading towards the Wyvern. The wave reaches the wyvern which begins to shift and warp as does the space around it. The wyvern's form is revealed for what it truly is, a Black Dragon and in that space appear more Red Dragons!
The Arch Druid hisses, "An assault!" He turns to you all, "Quickly move from the clearing and into the woods!"
In all there are five huge red dragons and one gargantuan black dragon! Each has its own rider wearing black plated armor.
