Sorry everyone--we lost power over the weekend and I had no internet access. I'm at work and I can't see the mat--once ZDM emails it to me I'll make my action, as i don't knwo whether I'm adjacent to a zombie or not. But I'll resolve my 5 saves now. . .

I glance around quickly. Nobody's down? Ooch, Blaze dunnlook so good. Salfon, should we pull out the wand, and you save your Channels for combat? I've got myself covered if you're not going to channel right now . . .
@ Ronya: So, any idea how big this place is? How many more of these nightmares we get to face?
Vaughn Elliot
Berry mopes a bit refusing to meet anyones gaze. Clearly she's not happy with the way the fight went.
Hey--it happens. We've all had our moments, good and bad. Forget it and move on, eh?
@Ronya: Hmm, treasure chamber, eh? That'll be heavily trapped. Hope we can handle that . . .
Kyren Tosscobble
"Well, I know the dungeon below his palace is quite big...but he also has a nice treasure chamber to pillage..."
"Kazam, Kazam! We love treasure! However, we also love coming home alive! So although the treasure piece of this adventure sounds very encouraging, I am very concerned about the getting out of here alive part! Now, for this last battle, I purposely held back on some major firepower, not to mention my secret weapon, specifically because I knew we had a lot of dungeon left to go. In fact, that acid splash is not much better than washing your face with some rough skin cream. However, I am very concerned about how close we came to losing some lives! If you folks need greater firepower from your trusty sorcerer, then be sure to let me know. Saving spells will not be useful if we don't even make it there! I am truly sorry if I underestimated the strength of those ugly fiends. However, I know we have a long ways to go still. How are we all feeling? Do we need to take a short break here and pull out the snacks?"
"Oh, and Berry, my dear, I really like those little concoctions you throw, but please be a little more careful where you throw them!"
Vaughn Elliot
As far as I can tell, Berry seems to be quite good in disabling nasty things. maybe for the first time that you know her, a smile flashes over her face.
Sure enough. Good skill to have . . .
I'll wait with going on until you tell me you're ready/healed up enough. Vaughn and Alcheringa: level up!
bazinga!
HP: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 <--makes for a nice even 70 total. :-)Rest will be updated shortly.
I'll take a swig of my special healing potion that also blesses
2d8 + 5 ⇒ (2, 3) + 5 = 10
Current HP: 67/70
*shrug* I'm ready. Kyren, I hear ya on not wanting to blow your load too fast. We'll just try to play it smart and call for some firepower if we think we need it. Otherwise, I'll trust ya.
Salfon Rarith
Fort Saves: A1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 and B1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
With a cough, the cleric begins "A wise decision Vaughn, I've already wiped my energies." He then brings out a wand and begins tapping it against those around him.
Kyren, we need to get you a wand of magic missile or something. I'm blowing all my spells trying to keep people alive; not to mention how nice it would be to take these guys out at range. Healing is going to be a feat if we encounter tougher groups.
Just going to heal Alch and Blaze for now. And of course, Ronya.
Alch:1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Ronya:1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 She look any better?
Kyren Tosscobble
"Nice work, Salfy! I think you had your hands full that last battle. Thanks for keeping us all healthy! Well, if we are ready, I think we can proceed. Where do we go next, Ronya, through that passageway on the other side of the room?"
Kyren Tosscobble
""Uh....I've been doing so. I mean I cracked open the door here right? Well it was trapped. Father did teach me how to. Said I should know in case I fell into a kobold hole."
"Good, good, my dear. I am practically blind as a bat, so please be sure to look carefully along this hallway, for any such devices of trickery. I am eager to move forward toward the treasure, but safely!"
Perception Check 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Kyren Tosscobble
"I know my way about traps a bit myself, had to learn how t'avoid them working in the city. Let's keep goin', I don't want to be down here longer than we have to."
"Well, I feel better already! Traps should not be a problem with Jazz and Berry on the scene! Let us proceed immediately. Onward Ladies and Gentlemen, Cat and all! Onward, my friends!"
Berry Peelyblossom
Setting herself to work berry starts disabling the tiles that Jazz has found one by one.

Berry is quickly able to disable the traps. She cautiously lifts the tiles and cuts through the wires. Stepping on them is not dangerous anymore now. Vaughn leads the party depper into the dungeon but stops at the next corner. He has spot two towering skeletal golems! Hold together by strong leather straps and large iron screws these strange mixtures of undeads and machines walk through the corridors making grinding and screeching noises.

I indicate quiet is needed here as we talk and look. I'm no expert in this kind of thing, but I'm not sure how effective our weapons will be on these toys. Anyone have any thoughts? What's the best way to get by 'em?
Kyren Tosscobble
"Crazzleboks! These creatures sound dangerous. I hope these aren't the golems that I have heard about!"
Knowledge Arcana Check (to determine what spells and/or weapons can affect these creatures) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
Alcheringa
"Hmm not sure what to do about these, they don't look like normal undead. I am trying to work out how much I hate them"
"Left. Left is always the best choice. When the skeleton move away and gives us room, we can charge in behind it to attack... dont fight it where it can keep us one on one."
Vaughn Elliot
OK, I'm ready to give it a go. If they attack, try to take one down at a time.
I'm also clearly ready to move, but am waiting to make sure we all go together, or stay together.
Zyren DM
You all scurry into the left branch ans Vaughn peers around the corner he can still clearly hear the thing moving around, however it is out of sight. The small room you are now in consists of a statue of a naked, heavily muscled man juggling with skulls.
That's him. says Ronya and spits on the ground.
Vaughn Elliot
That's a statue of Vultaran? Boy, somebody thinks pretty highly of himself!! What a twit. I'm suspecting traps here--Jazz? Berry? Whadayathink?
Kyren Tosscobble
"My friends, I don' think magical weapons are needed to fight those skeleton golems, but if I am not mistaken, you will need to use bludgeoning weapons to be effective against them. Regardless of what kind of weapon you have, let's still try to avoid them."
"That's him."
"Why the lack of clothes and the skull juggling? Is he dying to become a clown at a nudist colony?"
Jazz Rozer
Perception for traps, -2 otherwise 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25
Damn Berry, +23 is pretty sweet, haha
Jazz follows behind Berry, slowly realizing how much more attuned to the entire scene she is than himself. He keeps quiet, letting her do her work, trying to double check things in case she misses something.
Jazz Rozer
"Hmmmm... wait here, Berry," Jazz whispers, and creeps up on the golem, trying to see beyond it into the next room to see if the other golem is there as well, or if there is something else of note in the room.
Stealth 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (2) + 19 = 21
I will be RUNNING AWAY if I get seen...
Kyren Tosscobble
Kyren is not fond of being at the back of the group when they have just passed a skeleton golem. He looks back frequently as he sneaks ahead and tries to find a position in front of Salfon (U23).
