Sorry everyone--we lost power over the weekend and I had no internet access. I'm at work and I can't see the mat--once ZDM emails it to me I'll make my action, as i don't knwo whether I'm adjacent to a zombie or not. But I'll resolve my 5 saves now. . .

As far as I can tell, Berry seems to be quite good in disabling nasty things. maybe for the first time that you know her, a smile flashes over her face.

I'll wait with going on until you tell me you're ready/healed up enough. Vaughn and Alcheringa: level up!

"Kazam, Kazam! We love treasure! However, we also love coming home alive! So although the treasure piece of this adventure sounds very encouraging, I am very concerned about the getting out of here alive part! Now, for this last battle, I purposely held back on some major firepower, not to mention my secret weapon, specifically because I knew we had a lot of dungeon left to go. With a cough, the cleric begins "A wise decision Vaughn, I've already wiped my energies." He then brings out a wand and begins tapping it against those around him.

Kyren, we need to get you a wand of magic missile or something. I'm blowing all my spells trying to keep people alive; not to mention how nice it would be to take these guys out at range. Healing is going to be a feat if we encounter tougher groups.

Just going to heal Alch and Blaze for now. And of course, Ronya.

The narrow passageway consist of several small alcoves that look like they were made for some nasty trap action...

Jazz finds three floor tiles with suspicious mechanisms that will start some kind of apparatus below them...

Setting herself to work berry starts disabling the tiles that Jazz has found one by one.

Palace Dungeon

Berry is quickly able to disable the traps. She cautiously lifts the tiles and cuts through the wires. Stepping on them is not dangerous anymore now. Vaughn leads the party depper into the dungeon but stops at the next corner. He has spot two towering skeletal golems! Hold together by strong leather straps and large iron screws these strange mixtures of undeads and machines walk through the corridors making grinding and screeching noises.

I indicate quiet is needed here as we talk and look. I'm no expert in this kind of thing, but I'm not sure how effective our weapons will be on these toys. Anyone have any thoughts? What's the best way to get by 'em?

"Hmm not sure what to do about these, they don't look like normal undead. I am trying to work out how much I hate them"

"Left. Left is always the best choice. When the skeleton move away and gives us room, we can charge in behind it to attack... dont fight it where it can keep us one on one."


Kyren:

These golems look like they could be wounded like normal skeletons. So bludgeoning wepons might be the best choice.

The large creaking monsters slowly move away into the darkness...

Salfon whispers to the party "Perhaps we can move past them altogether. They're quite big and these halls are not. If we all move straight through... No telling what's down that hall, though."

Dungeon

You all scurry into the left branch ans Vaughn peers around the corner he can still clearly hear the thing moving around, however it is out of sight. The small room you are now in consists of a statue of a naked, heavily muscled man juggling with skulls.

That's him. says Ronya and spits on the ground.

"My friends, I don' think magical weapons are needed to fight those skeleton golems, but if I am not mistaken, you will need to use bludgeoning weapons to be effective against them. Regardless of what kind of weapon you have, let's still try to avoid them."

Berry snickers a little at Kyrnes joke as she searches ahead for traps.

Damn Berry, +23 is pretty sweet, haha

Jazz follows behind Berry, slowly realizing how much more attuned to the entire scene she is than himself. He keeps quiet, letting her do her work, trying to double check things in case she misses something.


After a very short and superficial check Berry and Jazz agree that the corridor is free of traps.

As Berry advances further, she suddenly spots the golem again - the creature has turned its back to her and isn't moving at the moment.

Dungeon


Female

It's an artificial enhancement. After an hour has passed it'll just be +13.

Berry backs away slowly without saying a word and back torwards the group.


Male Halfling Ranger 6 (Urban Ranger, Skirmisher)

"Hmmmm... wait here, Berry," Jazz whispers, and creeps up on the golem, trying to see beyond it into the next room to see if the other golem is there as well, or if there is something else of note in the room.

Stealth 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (2) + 19 = 21

I will be RUNNING AWAY if I get seen...


Dungeon

The other golem is not around, and the one you are facing is waiting in the dead end at the end of the corridor.

Kyren is not fond of being at the back of the group when they have just passed a skeleton golem. He looks back frequently as he sneaks ahead and tries to find a position in front of Salfon (U23).
