Waiting on results of exploding zombie salfon drama before posting.


Two consecutive *BOOMS* and all zombies are defeated. Together with Ronya, Vaughn was able to dispatch the last zombie while Salfon's positive energy ripped his enemy apart.

So only another save from Vaughn. Alcheringa does not have to save.

"Oh, um,... Salfon! Are you okay?"


Ronya grinds her teeth and then jumps with both booted feet on the skull of one of the zombies which is cracked open like a ripe melon.

I hate undeads so much...

I hand her my waterskin of the special blessed healing potion we got from the underground temple. She heals some and is affected by a Bless spell for 24 hours.

Healing: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (5, 6) + 5 = 16


Ronya nods and after she has downed the potion, you see some nasty wounds on her neck and hands close.

Salfon turns to Berrry. "I'll live, young orc. But I will be cleaning this gunk out of my armor for some time, I'm sure."

The cleric eyes the goop, and makes rounds as the group searches the room, looking for any wounds.

Can I do a heal check to see if I can identify who's contracted the plague?

Kyren stands in awe looking at his hands as he feels the power of new arcane magic ready to be tapped from within!

"My friends, I feel my destiny awakening within, and I think the upcoming battles are going to feel a lot different from now on!"

The cleric nods at the druid. "Agreed".

As the group continues, Salfon pulls a wand from his bag, and taps himself a few times with the slender stick.

Cure Light Wounds:1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
And again:1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

"Anyone else?"

"Fighting style?" Berry looks at vaughn. "Oh! I was just going to use the compound I told you about back in the market. Shame they spread out so quickly though I was hoping to catch more than one in the blast."

Berry looks at the door. "Oh you better let me take a look at that. I wouldn't know what to do if one of you got chopped to bits by rusty poison coated blades. Well, except collect the bits."

Without another word Berry carefully inspects the door for surprises after gargling a nasty tasting concoction and spitting it back in the bottle. She gets the bizzarre wide eyed look from before making her look like some cave thing with overly large eyes.

Alchemical Allocation(Elixir of Vision) for 1 hour

1d20 + 23 ⇒ (12) + 23 = 35 Trapfinding


@ Salfon: Yes, after a short examination, you are sure you are theonly one who got infected with zombie rot.

As Berry begins to look at the handle and the lock, she soon finds some things that make her believe that the door is most probably trapped. But since it's a mechanic trap, she might be able to disable it.

"I can continue. I've dealt with these things before, and it passes. Tomorrow, I may take some rest and prayer for some more alleviating magics. Hopefully it doesn't get much worse up ahead."

Muttering to herself Berry is lost in a trance as she pulls a number of odds and ends from her robes including several firecrackers, a ball of yarn, a live ant farm, and several colorful beetles. All of these things seem important as she puts these things into various points in the door before lighting the entire contraption with a half burnt tindertwig and yelling "CLEAR!"

Vulturan's Palace

Not only is the trap disabled, the door even swings open. You scurry into a small chamber and reassemble. A five-feet-wide tunnel leads out of the room. The walls are made from a dark stone and are only roughly worked.

Perception Dc 15:

you hear low shuffling sounds from the corridor that leads out of the room.

"There's somethign down that way." Berry says pointing southward.

I can make that roll on a one at least for the next hour

Cautiously looking around the corner, Alcheringa and Ronya spot several zombies shuffling through the room. Walls and floor are tiled in brown and grey stone, but some of the tiles seem loose and only floating on a strange green bubbling fluid (red X).

Looking at the bubbling stuff Berry frowns. "Regardless of what it is it's right underneath the floor and might be eating away at it. I don't think it'll react well to human flesh."

You are pretty sure that this corrosive acid will be extremely devastating to human and zombie flesh and you wouldn't recommend stepping on the tiles at all...

"These zombies certainly look pesky, but unless things go really badly, I am going to save my more potent spells for the bigger battles. If things go really, really badly, then I am going to draw upon my ultimate secret weapon! Hehehe."

I sheathe my daggers adn pull out my bow. That sounds about right. Ronya, DON'T just go running in there. Let's let them clsoe so we can deal with them while we're together. I might be strong enough to push them into those acid pools when things start up.

Are we assuming we've all stepped outside of that room? If so, I'd love to maintain line of sight with the gentleman in K2.

Salfon steps around the corner, swinging his sling and launches a stone.

A stone skitters across the floor.


The zombies are pretty resistant against your arrows, but once you have send your volleys across the room, the monsters quickly turn around. Their burning red eyes are full of mindless wrath and hunger.

These apocalypse zombies are rather the dawn of the dead type:)
