Muchorak "Windstriker" |

Muchorak looks at Wolfspirit, his expression in aggreement with their new small companion; could she be so affected by this place. He shakes his head, no I must never loose faith in her, and focuses on his other senses...

Romon |

"A woman in trouble in the attic? " Romon smiles as images of grateful damsels course through his thoughts. "I know where that is. Let's go."
The thief walks toward the door, headed for the stairs.
I hope she's pretty, Dabbler.

Ali looks to the others, smiles when Big Bear says he hears the woman too, then drops to all fours flowing to wolf as she does. She then quikly pads after Romon, looking back once or twice to make sure Lunas and the others are following.

Romon moves along the corridor, scanning the ceiling for entries to the attic. Reasoning that the woman is in the part of the attic closest to where Ali first heard her, he goes to the far end of the hall.
The upper right door off the corridor please, unless something interesting is down the corridor at top left.
Reaching the door, he stops, listens, and probes the door for traps.

Noticing his distress Aliwolf turns to her brother and asks in wolf speak, her ears twicthing and facial muscles moving in a language known only to canines
WOLF
Disturbed you are brother, and with reason, for foul indeed is this house of men and death. Yet is there more which touches your shay'en? Do you sense something your sister does not?[/i]

Romon shivers. Mrs. Lordship is not houseproud.
"Looks like. Let's try the next room."

Aliwolf licks her pack brother on the muzzle, once again reinforcing her love and affection for him.
When Romon opens the door, not liking the smell of the room Ali whines and nudges the door with her muzzle, closing if it opens that way, or waiting for someone else to do it if it doesn't.

DM Wellard |

Romon finds nothing amiss with the door and you open it to find...
This large room features two padded chairs and a long couch facing a wide alcove lined with stained-glass windows. Several music stands lean against the southern wall next to a violin, two flutes, and a large harp; all the instruments are in poor condition. The windowsthemselves depict a diverse array of animals and plants—from north to south are a large pale and ghostly scorpion, a gaunt man holding out his arms as a dozen bats hang from him, a moth with a strange skull-like pattern on its wings, a tangle of dull green plants with bell-shaped flowers, and a young maiden sitting astride a well in a forest while a spindly spider the size of a dog descends along a string of webbing above her.

Muchorak "Windstriker" |

"It is no wonder the place has become so fouled." Muchorak looks at the depictions on the windows, "These pictures almost seem to welcome in things of madness."

"No sign of this woman the rest of you have heard" he says. "I don't remember Foxglove saying anything that lead me to believe he wielded magic. Ali, Muchorak, did he give either of you that impression?"

Alisebett |

Aliwolf looks to Icky for a moment then shakes her head. It is obvious though that she is distracted as her ears keep flickering as she picks up more sounds. She then begins to sniff along the hallway.
Wellard can Ali hear or smell what direction the sounds are coming from or any scent of the woman who's voice she hears?

DM Wellard |

Ali
The windows do not detect as Magical

Muchorak "Windstriker" |

"He seemed as much a normal man as the next." Muchorak looks at Wolfspirit as she begins to sniff around, "He hunted for the pleasure not the need." Moving over to Wolfspirit, "Have you found something?"

Romon |

Romon looks around the room before stepping in. Nothing of value, except maybe the windows. No way to the attic.
"I'll check across the hall. "

Alisebett |

Quickly flowing to Gnome form Ali answers BigBear "Yes yes! Yucky house smell make smelling not so easy" she says rubbing her nose "But Ali and brother Lunas smell..um...not real two-leg flower smell? Ali's friend Kali sometimes smelled close to it?" she continues with some obvious confusion in her voice. Then, adding almost as if she forgot "Oh ya, and noises of hitting on wood, voices and screaming come from up there. Maybe good we go fast fast there, yes yes?" she finishes, pointing at the ceiling.
Looking around first to see if anyone wants to ask her something, if no one does she flows back to wolf.

Muchorak "Windstriker" |

Looking at the others, "If there is nothing more to be found here." Then turning back to Wolfspirit, "Lead on." And he follows Wolfspirit putting more of his focus on the surroundings than her knowing her focus will be in tracking the smell.

Romon |

Romon crosses the hallway to the second set of double doors. He gives them a brief examination before opening them.

Heading straight to the door at the end of the corridor, Aliwolf scratches on it and looks back over her shoulder expectantly.
Just to be said, I personally have an interest in exploring the rooms, but Ali doesn't, so hence her action.

Muchorak "Windstriker" |

I absolutely agree with you, I have an interest in searching the rooms and sifting through all the junk for the 'good' stuff. But alas Muchorak does not. He'd rather see this place burned down as at every turn it shows itself to be cursed and abondoned.

Romon |

Romon sighs at both the condition of the room, and the lack of attic access. Unsure where to go next, he is suddenly worried about the exit route. He turns to the southwest door and crouches beside it.

Romon is focused on two things. Potential profit, and finding 'his lordship.' ( Remember 'his lordship?') OK three things because he's hoping this damsel in distress is pretty. Well, maybe four because this place is pretty gross and has rats; he wants to leave. The order of presentation has nothing to do with priority in Romon's mind.
That said, I've got no problem with checking the place out and Romon will have a better look 'round to fill the time if someone else dawdles in the rooms.
