Well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves... I have no idea if our fearless GM has other plans, or even wants to pick up another player... and, while I suspect the player would be really into joining I don’t actually know that for sure at this point.

It is sad to lose Reiko. I have to say that Reiko and the bugbear was just about the most fantastic thing I've ever seen in a game.

But since we have, Vigny calls dibs on that sweet red pearl hairpin!

^Lol. And yes, I'm sad to lose Reiko too but hopefully stormraven will return at some point or at least drop us a line to say that he's alive and well.

I'm all for Marcus joining if he wants to. I was going to have Reiko go background NPC after this in the hopes that her player would show up at some point, but other than that, I didn't really have anything.

I normally enjoy healers, but with the makup of this group, a bard seems like a better fit.

And maybe something a hair more mature than “cupshot” for a surname? I mean, I appreciate the restraint of not just naming him “Randall Wienershooter” or “Crotchshot McGee” but maybe lookup a more obscure (possibly foreign) euphemism?

(1) I'm not sure what it says about me that I totally didn't bat an eye or think anything unusual about a surname being 'Cupshot'.

As far as names go, didn't even realize that was a euphemism for a hit in the groin area. I'm torn between asking you to change it or demanding that you come up with an epic story for why that is your family's name.

Cupshot is old English slang for drunk. It has nothing to do with groins.

1) you know I have no objections to an occasional glass of fine sippin' whiskey.

2) ever since my boys joined peewee football, anytime I hear 'cup check' I know someone's about to get hit in the groin with something- its hard not to associate that with your chosen name.

3) the more I think about it the more "Randall Wienershooter" really grows on me.
