Okay, I am thinking about my final two phases. Having read Zoe's I assume she will be my phase 4 guest star, likely meeting at some art function, or a chance encounter when she was dragged out of her domicile by peers that hadn't recognized her inherent distaste for social situations.
Phase 5 maybe she and Zoe go by Seil's tavern? I don't see her knowing an FBI agent, unless he's investigating her.
I am open to suggestions.

Johnathan Lie Hudson |

I am open to suggestions.
Well as the other fellow newbie, having both of us feature as a guest star for the other can work.
Johnathan's Library always needs stocking of books, and probably hit Columbia University for two reasons during his Leave from Whiterock Services. One, the University was selling some of its older books, and he wanted to peruse them for anything dealing with the occult before someone else snaps them up.
Probably the best place to actually have the two end up meeting, where Johnathan doesn't end up directly introducing Marisol to the supernatural. As Johnathan probably ends up searching through the Romantic era books for the rare occult treasure, amongst the Midsummer Nights Eve and other books that include the Fey in their stories.
The other reason was probably a small job hunting down a deranged Domovoi causing havoc on campus in various ways. Usually claimed as a hairy homeless vagrant who breaks in and causing who knows what damage/trouble in various places on campus.
My Phase Aspect would probably end up being dealing with how horrible of a liar he is (Hmm, "Unbelievable Excuses" or ... "Or Lie isn't My Middle Name"?), with his attempts of covering up the supernatural while tracking down and banish the Domovoi.
Yours could end up dealing with Curiosity, or what you can think up with a hired man who tells rather obvious lies to you, yet running around campus tracking an insane but hard to find homeless vagrant could cause?
My other Aspect will probably come up once I have a better idea of how Thomas's character works.

Marisol Raith |

No no no. I only get upset at people "doing it wrong" when they write "Good" on their sheets and act EVIL. When they say that they promote balance, and then create factions inside a group and take sides against a single party member.
That, I believe, is "doing it wrong" and should be railed against with the sternest verbosity!
And I hardly social RP females correctly. Unless you want to read the RotRL thread, where I play a 17 year old girl quite well. HAhaha.

Marisol Raith |

Yes, some. I like the idea of meeting at the library. She has contacts, and scholarship. If there were something mundane you needed to know, she could have furnished you with it, or helped your research.
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you, my games have been taxing me a bit lately, but I got my intro post out of the way.

Johnathan Lie Hudson |

Met at the library, as he was perusing the books for sale for anything for his collection.
Stocking his personal "arcane" library is probably the most you contact him about, as he is more then willing to pay a nice finder's fee for books you may stumble upon that meets his rather "bizarre" collection hobby. Rare Fey, occult, and such books/journals/scrolls/texts and a few outside of it. Things an avid reader may stumble across when looking for a new book. Or to get the reward on finding one with a specific subject he puts a bounty on.He does have rather good resources to pay for such things, and they don't pop up that often anyways.
Of course when he says that the collection is just a hobby of his, you call him on the lie. But when he dryly states to using the collection to ID monsters to get rid of them easier, that has to be an even worse lie, right?
Hmm, "Occult-Reference Fanatic" can work as an Aspect for me with this.
Anything to put in as well, whether to help bring forth an aspect that fits or something? The idea of helping Johnathan stock his arcane library was a very nice idea. Especially as he doesn't have access to the resources of the White Council, thus he must find what he can elsewhere.
Possibly Twilight as one of the books, for him to treat it as a horrible and cruel joke you played on him.

Marisol Raith |

I thought the guest stars were like an appearance, but I suppose I read wrong.
But sure. For my part, Marisol... likely has some manner of minor position in the library, likely as a tutor of some sort, basically to stack books and what not, perhaps to be on hand to help with translation of older text for students (there's no relative skill in this system, but I imagine she would probably know Latin, Greek, Hebrew and even Arabic having studied religion extensively). So if he was looking for some information on demons, perhaps, she'd be able to find an old text and translate it?
I mean, keeping to the theme.
If you haven't read what she's been speaking about with Zoe, she has plenty of informed opinions on the subject.

Johnathan Lie Hudson |

I thought the guest stars were like an appearance, but I suppose I read wrong.
Nah, I may have read it wrong myself here. Lets run it as an appearance unless someone else says something. Easier on both of us that way.
But sure. For my part, Marisol ... would probably know Latin, Greek, Hebrew and even Arabic having studied religion extensively). So if he was looking for some information on demons, perhaps, she'd be able to find an old text and translate it?
Definitely adding translation services to why he is in touch. Thats a skill that Johnathan would lack ability for himself, but is willing to spend money on to have done.
I wonder what Marisol's thoughts are of her "part-time job" looking up and translating rather strange Lore. Johnathan knows his Lore, but is always looking for help translating and gathering more.

Marisol Raith |

Yeah, I gave her scholarship but not Lore because I figured her mysterious benefactors were better at keeping her in the dark. So, she'll be able to help people get books through contacts and what not, and probably translate, but as far as knowing about monsters and stuff she'll be pretty useless.
So we going to run with the idea that Marisol helped Johnathan with some translation of text on Demons? I don't think it'll be too much retconning or anything to say that that has been done in the past. If Ryuko is okay with it.
I also have to think what my phase aspects will be. I believe I'm in the process of "writing" phase 5 with Zoe right now.

Zoë Campbell |

For Zoe it is mainly about her insecurities and lack of social base around the city. And that Marisol is great but in a non-threatening way (to her)

Marisol Raith |

Well, someone is going to have to pop her cherry, so to speak. Aha! I think that it would be less frightening if Zoe were to do it with a physical transformation than it would be if a demon were to appear in front of her and confirm all her greatest fears.
Besides which, she meant what she said about God's love. So I think it would be an appropriate test of her faith, and her character, and a pretty decent phase cap.

Johnathan Lie Hudson |

So we going to run with the idea that Marisol helped Johnathan with some translation of text on Demons? I don't think it'll be too much retconning or anything to say that that has been done in the past. If Ryuko is okay with it.
That works out just fine for me. I can't think of anything else to add.

Ryuko |

Hey guys, sorry about my silence the last couple days. I'm going through a bit of a rough patch with my gf and my family, and I'm having trouble summoning creative energy from that. I had hopes to write tonight but another argument has left me feeling drained so hopefully later tongiht I'll be better. Either way I have the next two days off so let's hope I'm feeling up to it in the morning. Just apologizing for crap and explaining my abscence, happy trails.

Ryuko |

Well, game rule wise, you're only at risk of going berserk when you rack up your hunger track or I compel you. That said, I hadn't heard of what Seil had planned for the bar, and I'm thinking of doing just that... we'll see.
EDIT: Just realized that White Court Virgins aren't even required to have a Hunger Track, since you didn't take Feeding Dependancy. Will see what Seil is planning to do and then will likely compel your concept for you feeling a berserk need to feed.
