Rotes:

Single Target Spirit(Kinetic) Attack (KITAU): The space towards the target ripples, as a focused kinetic shockwave lances into the target similar like an out of control tank. 6 Shifts to damage. Weapon: 6 attack vs. target using Discipline to aim against athletics. Foci required (Night Stick).

Spirit(Kinetic) Effect Block (TAVIMO): Multiple frosted glass-like clock faces ripple into existence as sheer force distorts the air and space around the focus of Johnathan's will. Its hands tick away around ready to ward off the time of their death. Strangely, it shows the time that Johnathan's watch is currently set too, whether its right or wrong. Shifts 6 to power. Shift-Block 6 for 1 round for the target. Foci required (Mechanical Wrist Watch).

Spirit(Light) Effect Block (FIDELAT): A quick veil ripples silently into existence, hiding him from sight. Shifts 5 to power. Duration: 1 exchange. Opposed by: An observer’s Alertness skill. Effect: Renders the caster invisible. No Foci required

Spirit(Light) Effect Block (FIDELATUS): Johnathan and his allies shimmers out of view, like the illusion of water in the desert drying up. Shifts 4 to power and 2 to cover allies in the same zone. Duration 1 exchange. Opposed by: An observer's Alertness skill (4 rating). Effect: Renders the caster and nearby allies invisible. Foci required (Mechanical Wrist Watch).

??? - To be Decided. (Hyperawareness maybe?)

Specializations, Foci, Enchanted Items:

Evocation: Spirit (Control)
Thaumaturgy: Crafting (Strength)

Foci (3 slots)
Johnathan's Side-handle baton (2 Slots)
+1 Offense Power, +1 Offense Control for Spirit

Johnathan's Old Mechanical Wrist Watch (1 Slots)
+1 Defense Power
-Various sigils are etched into the leather wrist strap and surfaces of this Vietnam era watch. It doesn't always tell the correct time now, and needs to be wound constantly, but its suits him.

Enchanted Items (6 slots)
Light Khaki Trench coat (3 Slots)
Armor 2 - Constant (Lore 5, Specialization 1, 2 extra slots for 8 power. 1/2 to 4 for Constant. 1/2 to 2 for Armor effect.)
-The outside of this coat looks quite normal, with the exception of detailed stitching along the edges that form some of the runes. Inside the coat contains most of the runes for his protection. Light and comfortable for the amount of protection it gives. Past versions of this saved him from a lot of pain, so he puts a lot of effort into it these days.

Silver Ring (1 Slot)
Weapon: 3 - Constant Effect - Disintegration(Water) Attack
(Lore 5, Specialization 1. Half for constant effect for total of 3.)
-Inspired by Doctor Who, Johnathan altered a writing implement into a weapon he could use. Its sadly doesn't measure up to the inspiration it came from, but it makes for a handy weapon and a decent way to open/destroy a lock. This is the third generation of the item, changed to a ring after the pens were too easily lost, misplaced, or just stolen by someone else to write with.

(2 Slots) - Open for potions or future magical items.

Skills:

Superb: Lore, Conviction
Great: Discipline, Resources
Good: Athletics, Endurance
Fair: Weapons, Rapport
Average: Presence, Alertness

Background:

Grew up in a family of five, which cares for each other but drifted apart. Raised by his grandfather, a practioner of Kinomancy, once his powers started destroying technology a bit too frequently and to also learn what he can.
Johnathan was born into a rather wealthy family of five as the middle child, with an elder and younger sister. He will always consider it hellish, when trying to access the sole bathroom for the three children in those days. Two things did run in the father's side of the family, one quite consistently and the other randomly showing in the line. The first was ADD, before it was even called ADD. The other was that the capability of magic popped up in the line every so often. Said magic showing up in Johnathan in spades when he hit his teens, and started to destroy delicate electronics around the house in his anger.
At this point, Johnathan was sent to live with his grandfather, a practioner of kinetomancy of a small talent. There, he learned most of what he knows about magic that he didn't figure out for himself. None in his family has ever been a part of the White Council due to a lack of power, even if they are subject to its rules.

(Phase Aspect: I Didn't Break That, Dammit!)
(Things tend to end up breaking around Johnathan, beyond the usual electronics. Whether by his own fault, or not. Examples include windows, shelves, roads, and even a building in one instance.)

Rising Conflict:

Living with his grandfather, Johnathan starts to grow into his powers, making new friends, and making new mistakes. Spellcasting was initially rough, with his wandering attention, slowly learning over time to ignore his surroundings to focus on a task at hand. His first meeting with the Fey was nearly a disaster, that his father barely got him out of without any favors being passed around. His first girlfriend, Erana, was quite a friendly flirt of a girl that always seemed to rile him up. She changed one day, leading him to one of the clubs that her extended family owned with much more confidence then he could remember before. Not that he could remember much, but how Erana looked that day, as she lead him upstairs for an evening he could never forget.
Johnathan could barely think by the time he was lead in the room, but some part of him kept screaming something was wrong. He barely made the connection of her actions, and that of how White Court Vampires feed. In sheer desperation he threw her off, stumbled over to the window, and let loose a near raw wave of kinetomancy destroying the wall, shaking the building heavily as cracks formed, and fled nearly naked.
Not long after the incident while avoiding his now Ex-girlfriend, a recruiter shows up from Whiterock Services describing a dream. The White Council is small, and can't work everywhere despite the sheer power. Further, many citizens and government workers in-the-know are looking for protection from the things that go bump in the night.
(Phase Aspect: Overly-focused Wandering Attention)
(Johnathan's attention is either wandering quite often, or focused on a singular task and literally ignoring everything else around him by sheer force of will. For good or ill, either way.)

First Story: Service Trouble:

(First person view switch for this one, posssibly go back to the others for the same treatment?)
It began with a call, even if the phone died and had to be replaced with one of the spares quickly. I ended up taking the employment with this Whiterock Services, a specialized private military corporation or PMC in short. The pay was well off, access to knowledge and training was much better then what I had on my own but complaints and moaning could still be heard about its low quality or lack of at times. Besides, I thought I would make a difference, be a hero, and all that fluff.
A possible Warlock was threatening a client with a variety of creatures that kept growing stronger and more numerous with time. Animals at the time, squirrels, dogs, and the like. He had also kidnapped the client's pet cat as a hostage for an odd reason, his sanity was probably questionable. Orders were to stop the Sorcerer slash possible Warlock, and rescue the blasted cat if it lived. Bloody rich clients, but they pay. I was teamed up with two others for this one, Ms. Letheren another Sorcerer and one Mr. Butler, a combat focused practitioner and our senior in rank.
Locating the cabin he was operating out of was simple, after a bit of divination with some of the personal effects the client had with them. Quite a number of them too, as if he had been living in on their grounds for a while. Possibly hired by them. We aren't advised to dig too deep into our clients, as per orders of the company, so I ignore it. Once at the cabin? The situation turned into a complete FUBAR once at the site.
The Warlock was influencing the minds of a variety of animals, herding them, and using them as attack dogs. Even if only some were dogs. It wasn't just animals though, but homeless vagabonds were taken in and "magicked" into his thrall as well.
It took a bit of effort, but slamming down a chain-like net of force of the area quickly stopped the various thralls from attacking us once we got out of the middle of the mess. One of Ms. Letheren's spells had gone awry and injured one of the humans so badly, he already bled out, even as she kept trying to revive him. Mr. Butler...
Mr. Butler snapped simply killed everything held down by my net, humans and all, before coldly stating that our assignment was getting away.
His head quickly was removed, as a veiled Warden's sword went through his neck. A gray-cloak stood there, bloody sword in hand, grumbling about "foolish damned sorcerers".
The Warlock was already killed by the Warden, as he fled the wrong way. Ms. Letheren's trial was short and found guilty for breaking the First Law, even if carelessly. She never had the training that my grandfather put me through about how to avoid killing humans with magic and how to disable them such. Whiterock never teaches it, I realized belatedly.
My supervisor was angry about loosing two operatives to the Wardens in one day. And that we hadn't saved the client's cat. He only asked me if I needed time off for seeing all that and...
And I took it. For quite some time. Just...
Is this what I got hired for? Was I going to turn out like Butler if I stayed?
Did I even want the chance to end up working for another client that likely had kept a Warlock on staff to influence the minds of guests again, all because of no-questions-asked?
(Phase Aspect: Rocky Whiterock Service)
(Disillusioned to the work for Whiterock Services. Its not always as bad as this, but Whiterock has lost enough of their personnel to the Wardens that they're jaded to it. It could just have been a bad supervisor, bad situation, or such. It could be how the company is tarnished as a whole, Johnathan doesn't know.)

Guest Star: Cool Down:

During my extended leave from White Rock, there was only so much time one can spend doing nothing without feeling like you are about to go insane. Stir-crazy. Cabin Fever. What ever you may call it, I had it.
Thus I began my hobby, building my arcane library even bigger. Thus began my problems, trying to find anything. Having no real leads, I hoped for a stroke of luck and look through a book sale at the Columbia University on some of their older books. You never know what could turn up in an old collection, and I was hoping the Lady granted me a little favor.
I struck absolute gold there, and the Lady has my ever-lasting thanks. Instead of a single book of lore I didn't have, I stumbled upon a rather nice young lady offering to help me find something named Marisol Raith.
She knew multiple languages and willing to translate those I didn't know for me. Further, she had knew people, whether in person or online, that had occult books for sale if the price was right or just the information out of it. As a sorcerer who lacks any White Council resources for these things, I was more then willing to throw money at her to keep these services going.
I'll admit I twitched when she mentioned her last name, but she is nothing like Erana. Besides, she is a devout Catholic of all things, so there is no chance she is related to my ex, right?
...
Right, because I would loose access to her lovely sources for stocking my library otherwise. I'm not going to back to my blind attempts.
Now, I just need to decide where to put all those books ... my Library is already starting to overfill as it is...
(Phase Aspect: Occult-Reference Fanatic)
(Johnathan knows his Lore, and has the books he collected to back him up. On the other hand, its primary and almost sole focus of his education. Further, his past attempts to hunt down books for his library has made more then a few people wonder about his sanity and be slightly scared of him.)
