Lothalian yells to Harek to keep on swimming and he shoots an arrow at the foes, but misses.
Both foes continue to pepper the group with crossbow bolts, but both miss.
Rask fires arrows at the foes, but he also misses. Sirasa seeing that Harek is well out of reach jumps while holding onto the knotted rope and then climbs up to the center span directly behind Rask, while her eagle bites and claws at the foe damaging it more. Ordrud sees that Harek is floating down river, but the sturdy dwarf, instead of sinking like a stone manages to move closer to the shore and remain in sight of the group.

Lothalian continues to provide cover fire hoping the foes would be rattled, but his arrow goes wide.
The two foes continue to gleefully shoot crossbow bolts at the group, one hitting Lothalian and one critically hitting Rask.
Rask returns the favor, and hits each one of the foes once with his rapid shooting. Ordrud grabs one end of the rope and instructs Sirasa to give the other end to Lothalian, which she gladly does after missing with her crossbow. Harek, does not manage to move closer to the shore, but sinks like a stone to the bottom of the river (six feet deep) and is swept downstream about ten feet because of dragging his feet on the river bottom.

Both foes switch their aim to handle the nearest threat, the elf running towards them and both hit, and Lothalian is sorely wounded.
Rask continues to fire arrow, wounding both of the foes. Sirasa heals Rask. Ordrud readies himself to jump across also after the hook is set, and Harek finally makes it to shore and climbs up to dry land. (60 feet from the closest foe)

The other foe shoots a final bolt at Lothalian, however it bounces off Ordrud shield. Then you see the creeper run north along the road and it is out of sight of even those with darkvision.
Harek runs out to the road, passing by the dead creeper and looks but he also does not see where the foe ran off to.

Rask sees the tracks of the creature follow the road, which turns to the west and follows the river. The tracks of the drow and the villagers also continue in that direction, but Rask notices that there are fewer villager tracks then before.
It has been a couple of minutes so the creature is most likely far ahead of you now.
