How successful was Segang's attack? Are there fewer zombies down here now?

Seren lobs a conjured acid bolt at the elf, but it only spatters against the wall behind her. She shakes off the stun, eyes a-goggle for a moment before she barks a sharp laugh looks around rapidly, side-to-side. "They're everwhere!" she hollers, then grabs a flask and gulps it down... and disappears.

Absinthe gets an AoO on her, if you like...

The doorway to the west opens, showing a plush office beyond.

Back to Melianthe's action, since her spell's target is now invisible.

Melianthe shrugs and drops a Stinking Cloud to cover the entire office.

DC17 Fort or nauseated for 1d4+1 rounds, and a new save each round she's in there.

"Watch for swirls in the fog if she emerges, Absinthe, and stay back for a minute. I can't dismiss the fog."

As the noxious fumes roll into place, you hear some exaggerated gagging and choking noises from the direction of the office. "By the gods, who died in here?" A peal of laughter is cut off by a loud gag.

Absinthe slashes her scimitar, damaging the lead zombie critically, though it still moves to attack.

Downstairs, Segang sweeps his maul around once again, smashing two more zombies down. Only one remains animated on the ground floor.

Absinthe slashes her scimitar, cutting her zombie target nearly in half. As it falls to the floor boards, the next in line shoves forward to attack.

Segang swings his maul, sending the last zombie downstairs flying back with a sickening crunch. He starts up the stairs, coming just short of the greased steps. Cherias vaults past the Shoanti, nimbly traversing the slick.

Unsure how far a single move carried Segang up the stairs and if there was grease that area would have been double movement. While on the map, Segang seems to still be down stairs, even after his move action last round. I think, even moving slowly he should be able to get to the top of the stairs in a single move, right? I have placed him where I think he would be.

Segang will use his movement to move up to and then into the square Serin identified. This will provoke. If the caster attacks that will make he visible and allow Segang to make a regular attack. If he finds her but she does not attack he will swing with a 50% miss chance. I am unsure how the web bolt will impact this.

Assuming combat doesn't end before I'm done with the cast, can I summon a Mud elemental?

@ Melianthe: The way I'm reading web bolt, it clearly is cast at a target, who then makes a save. You'd still require a miss chance roll here (unless there's a FAQ or ruling precedence that I'm missing).

@ Segang: To traverse a greased area, you require a DC 10 Acro check to move at half-speed. You did not make a roll and said you were avoiding the grease, so I stopped you just short of it on the steps.

(Just discovered an obscure rule about adding 4 to Acro DCs made on stairs, but I won't retcon the required DC. Let's say the railings add a circumstance bonus to the check!)

No overrun, just run into. If there is someone in the square Segang can not move through it and provokes when trying to enter the square.

Melianthe flies over to Seren and hands him a scroll. Absinthe continues to hold the doorway, chopping at the next zombie in line.
