"Lovely. Then I don't need to swap weapons," Absinthe calls back to Melianthe.

On the ledge 35 feet below, you won't have line-of-sight to target the guardians, unless they are on the edge and looking over at you (even then they'd have cover).

@ Melianthe: how are you activating a hex as a move action?

Melianthe tries to hex the guardian but it seems to have no effect on the creature. She then steps off the edge and floats down the ledge below.

Fungal Guardian 3 Will save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Jarha shifts a couple steps and hurls a kinetically-charged pebble at the fungi-covered skeleton. It hits the target with a loud crack, sending bits of bone and gelid goo flying, but fails to knock it down. The other nearby guardians attack, taking advantage of the opening in Jarha's defenses.

Segang swings his earthbreaker, slamming the guardian attacking him. Seren retreats, following Melianthe over the edge and floating to the lower ledge. The guardian slashes at him as he moves past. (they have Combat Reflexes...)

Ouch! I see a total of 55 points of damage, but which attack hit the mirror image?

Fort save: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18

Jarha barely shakes off the effects of the fungus and, seeing the impossibility of the current situation, takes a withdraw action to jump off the ledge.

You're right--the Fly part of Flight Hex is a standard action--but the Feather Fall part is immediate. My move was a 5' step (off a cliff)

Melianthe rises into the air...

and shoots a Web Bolt at the guardian she attempted to hex.

Reminder that Abby has the Ward Hex. +3 to that save.

Ah crap. I guess Fly is a standard action and then the move to rise is a move action. No Web Bolt yet.

@ Jarha: Check the crit confirmation against you; I rolled a 1 so that damage shouldn't apply.

As for mirror image, the convention I use is 1d#, where # is your total images +1. A roll of 1 hits you, any other hits an image (assuming a good enough attack roll).

So, the two AoOs hit you. And I just realized I didn't roll for it on the regular attacks...

Mirror Image?: 1d2 ⇒ 2 ... this attack hits your image, no damage, but your image is gone.

Thanks. Got it. So 31 points of damage from the attacks.

Jarha's token is over open space, currently. If that's where he had to fall, he'll end up on the rope bridge further down, or in the water at the bottom.

Somewhat confused. Segang was hit three time and was critted twice right? That means a 17 was a crit I guess. And you have totaled the total damage for each crit on the confirm line. Each crib did 21 and another hit did 10 for a total of 52. Taking DR 3 times, reducing damage to 40. Correct?

Segang, better understanding the threat of these guardian creatures switches to a full rage and full attacks hoping to drop at least one. He initially focuses on the southern one. If it drops he will 5' step and attack the one south of Ab.

Earthbreaker: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 282d6 + 16 ⇒ (3, 4) + 16 = 23

Earthbreaker: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 272d6 + 16 ⇒ (4, 3) + 16 = 23

I tried to make it as unconfusing as possible. Attack rolls first, with threatened crit rolls below (input after checking preview). I put the total damage on the crit line, assuming the crit confirms. Too many numbers to track at my end, so I leave it for you guys to check the dice vs your AC and do the hit point math. If I forget something like mirror images or miss chance, let me know.

Right. But the total damage is what I was wanting to make sure was accurate. 21+21+10 for 52 minus DR of 4 three times = 40.

Melianthe activates her flight hex and moves up into the air. Above, Jarha falls back off the ledge, using his kinetic control to dampen the impact of landing.

Segang smashes one guardian with two solid hits, cracking bones and sending pieces of armor and fungus flying. The thing remains standing, if only just.

Seren casts a flight spell on himself and takes out a scroll.

Segang continues to try to protect Ab and attacks back into the flank with her.

He draws the wand of magic missiles and wails away, starting with the flanking warrior if Segang doensn't kill it (which I doubt) and then moving to the flying one near Mel.

Are we fleeing? No reason to cast invisibility otherwise ... sneak attacker is getting sneak attacks

Segang is not fleeing...

@ Jarha: sorry, forgot again... Mirror Image?: 1d2 ⇒ 2... image is hit & destroyed!

Melianthe grants Segang good fortune and starts to cackle. Jarha projects another sling bullet, but it flies past the skeleton's head.

Segang hits the next guardian twice to good effect, blasting it apart.

Seren nods and fires his wand at Melianthe's attacker, doing some damage.

The three remaining fungal guardians continue to slash their blades at Segang, Melianthe and Jarha, respectively.

Can Jarha take a five foot step straight back so his back is against the cliff (which occupies half the square)?

Melianthe locks eyes with the guardian near her. Misfortune Hex DC19 for two rounds.

Hoping her Blink spell will protect her, she continues to cackle.

Gah! I forgot Melianthe's blink as well... 50% Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 20 ... missed!

@ Jarha: yes, but considered Squeezed.

meaning -4 to AC and attack? If so, he’ll need a different plan.

Absinthe will use Acrobatics to get up and over Segang and into flanking position with the last ghoulie on the ledge: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25

Jarha can't take much more of this and the guardian will get an attack of opportunity against him almost whatever he does (unless he squeezes against the cliff, which would allow the guardian to trap in him a disadvantageous spot), so Jarha decides he needs to exit and reset the situation. Jarha moves across the bridge (taking an AoO) and turns invisible.
