The halfling nods to Yon and quickly goes about adjusting the rifle for her small size before putting it within easy reach attached to her backpack.
She than follows in behind Tylur.
Goblins racially are usually considered evil beings. In Starfinder they are using scrap and such to build just about anything and their devices are not usually stable.

DM Nex |

Yes Goblins are still considered pests. Often stowed on ships and causing damage. Generally Evil. Though, just like P2E there are a few that have raised above that and can actually be good. Though you would be hard pressed to ever find a Lawful Good Goblin. Though that would be a fun character.
As Tylur inches forward he can see another Akata down the left cooridor.

P-1107 "Yon" |

"Tylur found another Akata!"
Yon activates Trianna to assist with his targeting and then fires a shot in the direction of the Akata attempting to distract it so that it will be easier to hit.
Move to Target the Akata, Standard for a 'Harrying Fire'
Harrying Fire: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
You can use your standard action to make a ranged attack that distracts a foe in your line of effect. Make an attack roll against AC 15. If you hit, you deal no damage, but the next ally to attack that foe gains a +2 circumstance bonus to her next attack roll, as long as that attack occurs before your next turn.

Zamasea De |

Zam sees what Yon is up to, then suddenly realizes her laser pistol isn't entirely useless if she can at least distract the creatures from the others. "Great idea, Yon!" She tries to get off a clean shot, but firing with the others so close leads her to be overly cautious, and the shot goes wide. "We've taken two down already, what's one more?"
Harrying Fire: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Move action: Get Em

Tylur Trask |

Unprepared for the akata's sudden rush and savage bite, Tylur quickly backpedals to put some distance between them and fires a shot in hopes of keeping it away. He then readies his assault hammer in case it closes again.

“Yes Yon, I believe your assessment is quite correct.” Replied the elf-droid with a nod and her face etched with disgust. She had dealt with plenty of creatures during her lifetime, with the Drow exterminating them as soon as they were found on any fleet vessels.
“I believe these creatures may have stowed away since most simply stow away to scavenge another day.” She smiled happily. “I probably wouldn’t call them a threat more than a nuisance.”
“Frak!” Dee swore aloud, seeing the creature come out of nowhere. Still holding her pistol, she fired a shot at the beast. “A logical assessment, I, however, will utilize my weapon with extreme prejudice.”

DeeV8 |

Dee see's her friend being attacked again by the creature. Fearing for Sybil's life, the elf-droid accesses her spell cache and unleashes a spell at the creature. Hand gun blazing, she let's loose a magic missile spell at the beast.
3 magic missiles. Harmful Spell Hack: 3d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1, 3, 4) + 1 + 1 = 10
I think that's how harmful spell hack works right? Like 1/2 your level plus damage?

DM Nex |

Yeah you get to add 1 to your final roll, BUT you get 1d4+1 for each missile. So the final roll would be 3d4 + 3 + 1. 3d4 + 3 is the normal missile damage, and the +1 is the Harmful hack. So the final damage was actually 12. I will record 12 damage
DeeV8 Throws 3 small blueish purple balls of energy, they fly past the other party and crash into the creature. Crashing into its side. It seems to be quivering, though you can't hear any noises it makes.

Zamasea De |

"Sybil! Shake it off, it's just a scratch! You've got this!" Zam steps to the side to get a better view of the predator. "Aim past its tentacles toward its flank!"
Standard: inspiring boost on Sybil for 8 stamina. Move: Get Em on the akata.

P-1107 "Yon" |

Yon winces as Sybil takes a bite.
"Wow, you really can use magic Dee, Trianna thinks that looked like a serious hit!
Here, I'll try and distract it again."
He then fires another blast in an attempt to distract the Akata for an opportune strike.
Harrying Assault, DC 15: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 = 17

Tylur Trask |

Taking advantage of Yon's harrying fire, Tylur looks for an opening along the akata's flank just like Zam suggests. He then executes a double-tap with his sidearm in an effort to put the beast down before it can inflict any further damage on him or Sybil.

DM Nex |

Tylur's shots strike true onto the creature, rippling through its somewhat see through flesh as it tears open its interior. It flashes its mouth upward then drops to the floor. Dead.
Out of initiative
The dead Goblin is still in front of you, you can now see down the cooridor all the way. You can see into the crew quarters decently well.
You can also see there are 2 cross halls, Large ones to your left and right, and a smaller set of halls a bit farther down. From the map you have seen of the ship, to the port and starboard, from your current location there should be Cargo holds. Farther down the halls should lead to crew quarters. With the kitchen being on the port side, and another crew storage area to the starboard.
[ooc]I opened up what you can see. There are some bulk heads and stuff, but I will say you can see past them.

Tylur Trask |

"Reload, if you need to..." Tylur instructs everyone, taking the time to replenish the ammo in his own handgun. "Those that don't, keep your guns trained on the side corridors in case our fire draws in any more of them." He watches the main hall leading toward the front of the ship, and then spares a glance at the dead goblin. "Sybil or Dee? Can either of you check the body? Was the cause of death these akatas or something else? And does he have anything useful we might need to access the rest of the Acreon?"
"And Zam? Any direction you want to proceed? Cargo bays are to either side. No telling what else we might find there. Maybe the miners took some samples of the Drift Rock and left them behind? Or, there might be more surprises waiting for us. On the other hand, the ship's still open to vacuum. If we close the airlock and re-engage life support from the bridge, we'll have an atmosphere again and we can save our oxygen. Give us a path and I'll take us down it..."

P-1107 "Yon" |

Yon chances out the battery in his Laser Rifle, deciding a fresh one would be a better idea going forward.
"Not too bad here, really. According to Trianna the circuitry in my body is working in overdrive indicating recent stress. Though I do not believe it to be anything of concern."
Yon moves to inspect the Akata: "Curious creatures, harmed by salt water you say? I wonder what it is in their anatomical structure that causes such a reaction."
And then he moves to inspect the Goblin's wounds. "I will have Trianna assess as well. Processing..."
Heal Medicine?: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Not sure what the appropriate skill in Starfinder is.
Afterwords, Yon looks to Zam to see where she thinks she might want to do. There is a certain logic in heading to the bridge in order to assess what logs and information we can. Along with rebooting the systems as Tylur states. Fearless Leader?"

Zamasea De |

Zam relates a short narrative of the combat for the benefit of the drone. Then she examines the goblin over Yon's shoulder. "Yes, the bridge should be our first stop. Maybe we can also get a read on any other life on board..."

Tylur Trask |

"Sounds like a plan to me..." Tylur nods. Satisfied with his reload, he double-checks the side passages for further movement and makes ready to lead the team forward. "Stay alert. Could be more akatas or goblins about..." He makes sure to check any remaining side passages in case something else might be hiding to either side of them.

DM Nex |

As you collectively move down the hall of the ship you can see the cargo bay interior doors are open, though you can't see far inside. As you move farther down the hall, you can see down the second corridor. Of the 4 doors, looking to lead to various crew quarters, one is closed, while the others are still wide open.
You can also see a closed door, that would correspond to the crew Storage on the starboard side of the ship. To the Port side, you can see a basic kitchen. Many of the kitchen supplies are scattered about on the floor.
There does not seem to be any movement in the halls. As you get closer to the Bridge.
If you are being stealthy please provide stealth. Otherwise let me know and move your roll20 token where you would like it to go

Sybil Surefoot |

Sybil moves as quietly as she is able towards the door of the bridge. At the door she listens carefully for any sounds of action on the other side.

DeeV8 |

"Sybil or Dee? Can either of you check the body? Was the cause of death these akatas or something else? And does he have anything useful we might need to access the rest of the Acreon?"
“Unfortunately, Medicine is outside of my expertise.” Dee stated, looking at the soldier. The elf-droid had never been truly immerse into the field. She did have some science, but medicine wasn’t anything she knew about.
“There is a certain logic in heading to the bridge in order to assess what logs and information we can. Along with rebooting the systems as Tylur states. Fearless Leader?"
“Agreed, if we can access the engineering systems that may allow us to reactivate the life support systems on the ship.” She had suggested that earlier, but the run in with the Akatas had distracted everyone. “This may be attempted on the bridge, however until we can have access to the systems I will be unable to tell.”
“I hate to be negative about this situation. But one would imagine creatures like this one having built a habit in an inhospitable starship. The probability isn’t very high for survivability for either goblin or crew.” Dee replied, her tone trying to be sympathetic as possible.

Tylur Trask |

Stealth: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Tylur inadvertently kicks up a piece of debris still floating within the depressurized confines of the Acreon and sends it ricocheting off the walls, making him cringe within his armored suit.
"Damn it. Hold up, Sybil." Tylur pauses at the next intersection until the spinning debris finishes announcing their presence. While he waits, he takes in the open doors among the crew quarters and the scattered kitchen supplies of the presumed ship's galley. "Now that I've called even more attention to us, I suggest we do a threat assessment on anything that's not already locked down before we commandeer the bridge. At a minimum, let's assure nothing can come up on our six..."
"That alright with you, Zam? Shouldn't take long. Just a quick sweep of the port side of the ship and then back to here as long as we don't turn up anything dangerous..."

DM Nex |

As Sybil gets closer to the bridge, she tries to quietly walk forward. Not letting her feet hit the bulkhead too loud. As she gets to the door she looks in. She can see 3 Akata, each one rooting around in the computer parts. You do see 3 more strange cocoon like shards scattered around the area.
Ahead of her is a wide transparent aluminum window that stretches across the forward wall of the control room; twinkling lights int he distance are all that can be seen of Absalom Station adn the ships of the armada around it.
As she peaks around, one of the Akata raises its head. Looking like it is smelling the air, its tendrils waving in the air. Seems odd, since there is just vacuum in the ship, after shaking its head it goes back to rooting in the exposed cables.
Tylur hits the debris, but luckily the lack of air means the sound is lessoned. Staying back he does not see into the cabin. They do not seem to come running.
There is vacuum in the ship, but there is gravity. Just heads up
Still not sure if the lighting is working out. I can go back to a normal "expose room when someone sees it" type fog of war. Are you guys liking the dynamic lighting? Still torn

Zamasea De |

Zam reaches out with her mind to communicate silently with her crew. It still feels funny to think of them that way...
{Great, more akatas. I have a smoke grenade I can throw into the room to try and disable one or two of them while we take them on out here in the hall.} She plucks the grenade from her belt (careful not to activate it) and raises her eyebrows in a questioning sort of way.

P-1107 "Yon" |

Yon does his best to move forward slightly to follow the others, unfortunately being unheard and unseen was not something he had ever been good at
Stealth: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3
Nor did it seem like he had recently had any epiphanies on the matter. He hoped he did not alert anything.
--Post Akata spotting.--
Yon groans inwardly at the indication of more Akatas. Quite fascinating, and quite annoying. He thinks.
Yon nods to the others to indicate his readiness as he trains his weapon on the area, ready to blast some Akata.

Tylur Trask |

"If there are more of them, we definitely want to lure them out of the cockpit. Otherwise, we'd risk damaging the controls if we fire on them there," Tylur responds by speaking into the comm unit on his suit so everyone can hear him, "Zam's grenade might smoke them out, but we'll need a plan for how we deal with them if they come running all at once."
"Is there anything we can force them to run into that'll incapacitate or hurt them?" he asks, "A trap or weapon we can put in place so they'll run into it as they exit the bridge and come into the hallway? If so, then maybe we can stand back and gun them down as they're weakened or incapacitated by it. We know fire is out...and frankly, we probably couldn't start one in this vacuum anyway. They're probably shielded against cold, as well. What else are they susceptible to? Did someone say salt water harms them? Is there anyway we can hose them down with some?"

Sybil Surefoot |

Sybil slowly backs away... Stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
She switches weapons to her Arc Rifle... and whispers... "Lure them down the hallway... zap 'em a few times..." She looks to Tyur, "You might be beter at that than I am..."

Zamasea De |

Ah, the dreaded decision point--the bane of many a PbP game. Seeing no clear objection, I'm just going to act with my proposed plan.
Zam steps forward a few feet, grasping her smoke grenade carefully. {I don't have any salt water, though a beach trip sounds pretty nice right now. Well...Here goes nothing. If they run out, I'm going to jump to the back and try to coordinate efforts from the rear.} With that, she presses the button activating the bomb. It begins to vibrate and emits a short series of flashes--a countdown. She lobs the grenade through the doorway into the bridge, then jumps back, her pistol at the ready.

P-1107 "Yon" |

Yon communicates over the comms. "I have never been to a beach properly. Saltwater seems like an odd reason to travel so far when most weapons seem to generally be effective against these creatures. I must not understand just how effective it is.
Either way, I am ready!"
Yon considers the grenade on his belt as well though decides to save it for later. Two Akatas would hopefully not be too much.
He keeps his Laser Rifle weapon trained and ready to blast one at first sight.

DeeV8 |

Now that I've called even more attention to us, I suggest we do a threat assessment on anything that's not already locked down before we commandeer the bridge. At a minimum, let's assure nothing can come up on our six..."
“I agree, however seeing that these creatures have made this their home, one would assume that this threat isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.” Said the elf-droid. There was a brief flash of concern etched on her features. Dee didn’t want to think about the entire crew on board being dead. Even if the probability was stacked extranomically against them, the technomancer hoped that she was wrong.
“Smoke grenade does sound like a tactical advantage. May I also suggest using my sticky grenade as well? I can certainly let someone who’s more skillful at it attempt to hold these creatures in place with it?” Dee spoked softly through their coms.
Reaching into one of her largest pockets on her jacket and pulled out device. “Would you be interested in throwing this?” She lifted the grenade at Tylur’s direction just before Zam throws her grenade into the room.
Her pistol in her hand, Dee raises and holds her action until a creature comes through.
