the stones should dissapear now as 3 rounds have past since the casting.

Arjun Srivastava |

Arjun grunts in pain as the pike lances his thigh. What!? They made me bleed my own blood!?
Reflex 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 vs DC17
Arjun carefully picks his way through the sticky webbing, taking a few short steps towards one of the crossbowmen. [5-foot-step]
He reappears just as suddenly as he disappears and slashes out with his twin wakizashi.
+1 wakizashi/masterwork wakizashi 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 181d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 141d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 51d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 vs Flat-footed Crossbowman6 [full attack]
Sneak attack 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 92d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10
Vishkanya Venom: Injury; save Fort DC 10 + 1/2 the vishkanya's Hit Dice + the vishkanya's Constitution modifier; frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; effect 1d2 ⇒ 1 Dex; cure 1 save. (on second wakizashi)
Then just like before, he disappears.
Vanishing trick. [swift action]
HP 34/43, Ki 2/4

Dimitrious Black |

@ Dimitrious, that is a lot more intimidate than diplomacy, so I am going to use the roll on the die and your modifier for intimidate
Yeah, I should have phrased that differently

Noro the iron maiden |

Noro does a quick survey of the situation, seeing the enemy crew is well in hand, Noro grabs a rope and swings across looking to avoid the webbing.
acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
she immediately looks for signs for the whereabouts of the captain.
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

MichaelCullen |

Arjun correct me if my reasoning is wrong but doesn't vanishing trick work as invisibility where only your first attack is against their flat footed? And did you include your +2 bonus for attacking from invisibility to your attacks or no? You should get it on the first attack.
@ Noro: Most of the deck is covered in webbing, at least near any of the dhows sailors. It is hard to tell who is the captain but Pikeman #2 is dressed better than the others.

Noro the iron maiden |

ok well in that case reflex vs web: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Of course... just like I expected. note to self, punch anyone that casts web spells

![]() |

Jax will magic missile the closest enemey dmg: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 3) + 2 = 6

MichaelCullen |

Noro swings across lands in a good spot but finds herself covered in webs. (you can still attack just take penalties for being entangled).
With a word and a jesture Jax slings two bolts of at Pikeman 1.
Pikeman 1 short halfts his pike and tries to attack Noro who is now up in his face.
Pike: 1d20 + 12 - 2 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 12 - 2 - 4 = 231d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
And manages to graze her shoulder.
The other Pikeman (2) attempts to swing where Arjun is at.
Pike: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 12 - 2 = 171d100 ⇒ 631d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
And misses due to Arjun's speed.
***New round***
Noro I am looking at you ;) you are in their face, time to wreck em (their faces).

Dimitrious Black |

Dimitrious will cast grease(ref 16) on Pikeman 1.

Rachel Riptide |

did my hydraulic push do anything? Tried to push one guy in the web.
-Posted with Wayfinder

Noro the iron maiden |

reading the web spell it says you get the grappled condition, instead of entangled, if that is the case then Noro has reduced grappled penalties.

Noro the iron maiden |

Not letting the webbing show any effect, Noro turns her attention to the one that looks to be better dressed than the others, she makes the assumption he is in charge.
suddenly there is a fire in her eyes as she glares at the man. her unspoken posture despite the grappling webbing says she means business.
intimidate: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
start rage then use Intimidating glare rage power as move action
rounds shaken: 1d4 ⇒ 4 - DC = 10 + enemy HD + enemy wis mod
As the "captain" pee's his pants (hopefully) Noro then backhands him across the face.
unarmed strike: 1d20 + 11 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 11 - 1 = 25
non lethal damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
EDIT: attacking Pikeman #2 as he was the one described as better dressed

.Suny. |

At work.
Just a quick question. The web only exists/extends ABOVE the water, right?

Arjun Srivastava |

By now, the sailors facing them can tell the ninja has a preferred method of attack.
Reappear.
TWF vs flat-footed Crossbowman 6
+1 wakizashi/masterwork wakizashi 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 151d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 221d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 71d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Sneak Attack 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 102d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9
Vanishing trick.
HP 34/43, Ki 1/4

Rachel Riptide |

flatfooted and invis bonus is only for first attack btw
-Posted with Wayfinder

MichaelCullen |

The web is only above the waterline.
@ Arjun, you become visible with your first attack, the second does not get the bonuses, he is grappled by the web however. Also why is one of the wakizashi a d6 and one a d8? I think they are d6s right? Only the first should get the sneak attack unless there is another reason for the second SA. That said 20 damage ain't bad.

.Suny. |

Yah, my bad. Head totally in'a wrong game.. sorry..
Suny begins to descend the rigging, getting ready to help subdue the enemy crew.

![]() |

oh, right combat is still going on mm the nearest enemy dmg: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 1) + 2 = 5

MichaelCullen |

Waves crash up between the ships briefly obscuring the view between. The ships rock hard because of the waves.
DC 10 Acrobatics check to stay standing and there is partial concealment between the ships this turn.
Acrobatics Crossbow: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 6 - 2 = 18
Acrobatics Crossbow: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 - 2 = 12

Acrobatics Pikeman: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 - 2 = 4
Acrobatics Pikeman: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 - 2 = 9
Both of the pikemen loose thier footing and fall to the ground still covered in web.
Realing from Noro's back hand and a little bit scared Not actualy frieghtened from her glare Pikeman 2 tries to stab her back. Pike vs Noro: 1d20 + 12 - 2 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 12 - 2 - 4 - 4 = 31d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Pikeman 1 tries to help his captain. Pike vs Noro: 1d20 + 12 - 2 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 12 - 2 - 4 - 4 = 181d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Crossbowman 6 falls under Arjun's blades.

.Suny. |

Sense Motive:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Suny climbs down closer, threatening those who are threatening her ally, Noro.
"Surrender!"
Diplomacy:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Trying to distract/flank other wise discombobulate 'em.

Dimitrious Black |

Surrender and you live Aid Another for Suny
Aid: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Rachel Riptide |

Calah will use a wave of salty air to push pikemen 2 overboard between the two ships.
hydraulic push: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
acrobatics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
"Last chance or you are sharkbait!"

MichaelCullen |

Pikeman 2's reflex save to hang on: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Pikeman 2 gets pushed overboard by a rogue wave nice Calah
He is still held by the web and is now dangleing by his feet between the two ships.
The other pikeman drops his pike in surender.
Bashing damage to pikeman 2 as the ships crash together: 2d10 ⇒ (10, 4) = 14
If you would like to end combat here you may. You may try to pull up Pikeman 2 if you like or you can just cut him loose into the sea.

Dimitrious Black |

What are your orders Captain?

![]() |

acrobatics: 5 + 1d20 ⇒ 5 + (19) = 24
and Jax will help the man up since they surrendered.
Why did you attack us?

Calah Riptide |

lol jax were pirates after their booty :p
Calah stands on the rail and yells.
"We accept yer surrender and we will be taking yer loot!
Now the lads who were smart enough to obey my surrender command have a chance to join our crew. You start as swabs until we feel ye can be trusted. The rest of ye we be leaving behind on yer boat with what is left of it after we take what we need."

.Suny. |

Staying out of the webbing, Suny will also help the fallen sailor back on to deck... Thence assisting Sandra with seeing to the wounded.

MichaelCullen |

We attacked you because these are dangerous waters, it seems we were right. Says a beautiful young woman who had been holding a crossbow, alone among the crew she seems to have control of her fear. We will join you if you will treat us fair, that is what we ask for, otherwise I'll swim. The rest of the crew sits fearfully waiting for your response.
Now that the combat is over a look at the isle reveals it is not uninhabited, or at least there is some sort of stone tower rising above the coast.

.Suny. |

At the woman's comment Suny simply skips over to her, avoiding the pointed cross-bow, and gives her a friendlily hug. (^_^)
Diplomacy:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Boo tha' dice roller :P ! I can be takin' ten after a while to assuage her fears, though...

Noro the iron maiden |

Noro moves to hoist the enemy captain back on board.
She leaves the parley to the parleyers.

Rachel Riptide |

"I be Captain Riptide and aye, we treat our crew member fairly and just. To raise arms against a crew mate without legitimate reason on our ship is punished by a dip with the sharks. If ye work properly ye get an equal share of the loot. And who would you be?" Calah calls across.
-Posted with Wayfinder

MichaelCullen |

Not sure what to take of Suny's hug the woman stands there and accepts it. After a while she wams up to Suny and realizes she is just trying to be friendly.
@ Arjun, she is probably a 7 but you have been out to sea so she is probably a 9 to you.
Once back aboard and qustioned the man who apears to be captain says,
This is the Velltall, we transport mostly dry goods. She is a decent ship but aparantly not fast enough. He apears to be quite bloodied up.

Dimitrious Black |

Dimitrious will start healing members of the party.
1 charge for Noro, 2 for myself anyone else?

Rachel Riptide |

think if nothing else happens our cleric can channel to heal everyone. Its cheaper
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

Channel 1: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10
Channel 2: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10
I was pondering that....
Anyone on either side need healing? I will provide healing to anyone that Captain Riptide says too
Cleric Channel Positive Energy 2d6 (7/day, DC 16) (Su) Positive energy heals the living and harms the undead; negative has the reverse effect.

Dimitrious Black |

Ah much better, Thank You Kyranda

Arjun Srivastava |

Arjun pulls Calah aside. "We cannot allow the captain to live. He will be the center of plots to overthrow our command, and will be a liability every single day. At the very least, he needs to be gagged and chained in the hold."

![]() |

Dangerous seas hey, all the more reason for you to join our crew. But the real danger lies not in other ships, people should be friendly with each other or try to minimize that problem. The real danger would come on the day that we run into a Kraken, or the lockness monster or the serpentine snake. and Jax says this with meaning, but is serious about believing in the legendary monsters.

Rachel Riptide |

Calah says to Arjun.
"I'm not planning to. He can take a rowboat or stay on that ship after we have plucked it from booty and willing crew."
-Posted with Wayfinder

MichaelCullen |

The remaining crew helps empty the dhow of goods. It contains about 2000 pounds of wheat as well as farming implements. The former captain stands somberly and watches as the goods are removed. Once the transfer is complete, he gets in one of the rowboats without a word and starts rowing for the isle.
Transfering the stores from the dhow to your ship takes about 2 hours. Right now most of the stores are on the weather decks and will take about 2 more hours to store below.
All told this ship nets you 2 plunder points. A plunder point has an approximate value of 1000 gold when fenced in port. If you actually took the time to sell everything individually it would probably fetch a much higher price but that would take time away from going out and grabbing more plunder. Your deeds here today have the potential to gain you one infamy point if word of them spreads. Too many infamy points and not enough plunder gets you looked at as dangerous but unsuccessful. Too many plunder points and not enough infamy makes you look like a soft target to pirates who have heard of you.

Noro the iron maiden |

While still on the dhow, Noro searches the Captain's quarters looking for charts, maps, or any interesting information, possible customers or even blackmail information.
perception search: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 - (or if I can take 20 for a 26)
Noro helped with the plunder loading it on board, organizing the hold like and expert dock worker.
looking over at the other ship, shkuttle it, no contactsh in any port to shell a boat. her suggestion is blunt and to the point. people can heed her advice or ignore it, makes no difference to her.

Dimitrious Black |

Dimitrious will aid in the removal of product from the ship and then await orders to get us underway. Shall we load the cannon captain?
