HP: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Ok I think I'm ready

MichaelCullen |

@Dimitrious,
Upon further thought, I am willing to let you extend the casting time of Liberating Command to a standard action when cast on yourself, this will leave the immediate action/swift action unused by the casting and will let you help yourself escape. Remember to make the concentration check when you try to cast though 15 + spell level while entangled.

Dimitrious Black |

I can live with that 8>). I will use Liberating Command on my Init. For a second there I thought I had Freedom of Movement from the amulet, but that's only in water.
I added a concentration check to my previous roll

Noro the iron maiden |

*Hugz the Captain* (^_^)
Wishin' ye all'a best at gettin' better.

Angus Alehammer |

Hey, sorry to do this, but I have been feeling like I've been running on empty for a little while and I need to step away from some things so I don't feel overextended. I'm afraid that means I'm dropping several games I'm in and this is one of them.
As I said, I am really sorry about doing this, but I really need to regroup and refocus.

Dimitrious Black |

Well that sucks, take care of yourself.
DM: I guess we need to recruit two more players

Dimitrious Black |

I will ask this guy he's a great DM/player and a very reliable poster

MichaelCullen |

Sounds good!
We have a couple routes for getting him in the game in a decent manner. He could still be a member of the crew that you recently picked up. Or he could be the last surviving member of a crew that wrecked on the island. He could be being held for a future meal by the giants.

.Suny. |

*Waves*
Wishin' ye all'a very bestest an' hopin' things get better fer ye Angus.
Is we lookin' fer jus' one or couple more bods fer joinin'?

Baldwin,
Welcome, I replied to your PM. But to recap:
The party is level 9 and you would come in with level appreciate wealth (46,000).
Recent events:
The party has recently won the Free Captain's Regatta. With this they have won the right to be Pirate Lords. However simply wining the race is not enough to earn the respect of the Lords on the Pirate Council. The must prove themselves to be as good at ruling as they are at ship handling. As such they have received the deed to this island, "The Island of Empty Eyes".
The party has taken their two ships to the island and brought with them a large crew and an assortment of supplies. They also brought along some competent tradesmen to help with any construction projects the Island will need. In three month's time, the party is expected to host the Pirate Council. Being poor hosts will bring about derision, being good host will garner respect.
Right now the party is exploring their island and has come across the ruins of an ancient town. The buildings are all quite large and are currently occupied by at least a couple of cyclopses.

A perception of 15 isn't bad is it? Besides making every check is no fun
All things considered, being prone is not a bad thing if they are shooting at you. They do not have a very good "to hit", and their insight ability is only once per day
I have no complaints

.Suny. |

At work.
Nope, sadly no one immediate comes too mind. :(

Baldwin has indicated that he has too much going on right now to build a character and play another game. I would like to have at least 4 players, if we are unable to directly recruit, I may open it up to general recruitment. Does anyone have someone else they would like to invite?
There is a good spot coming up to integrate them.

.Suny. |

Am happy with general recruitment.
Lookin' forwards to payin' with whom ever we add. (^_^)
EDIT: Found a friend on'a interwebz an' has asked 'em to come play! (^_^)

I have a rules questions as this is my first time in pathfinder; as a human; they get +1 rank of a skill and as all my level will be in one class which is my favorite class; that is +1 skill to so if I am reading this correct; do I get 2 extra skill levels per level?

Valegrim |

I could not find firearms like cannons in the book; I took that class as my second Weapon class; I just need to make sure it is not exotic as I only know simple; normal; martial; so let me know if I need to change it.
Also; how are we rolling hit points? I am all done except for that; my character is in pdf form at the moment.
how is everyone posting their characters?
My characters name is Paddy "Pim" Crocker; Swashbuckler (fighter)

MichaelCullen |

Are you using the regular dieties as per the book?
I tend to, but I am open to including others.

Yes. The first one you get for being human. The second you may take as your favored class bonus. You may instead take a hit point as your favored class bonus. Your choices are 2 extra skill points or 1 extra skill point and 1 extra hit point.

Firearms are considered "emerging" they are rare but not unheard of. You would normally need exotic weapon proficiency. However.... I have a proposal, most race/class combinations have alternative favored class bonus. I am willing to make one up for you where you can use 4 levels of favored class bonus to gain proficiency in 1 type of exotic weapon. This can help you keep your concept but not get something for free. (Effectively 4 less bonus skill points for proficiency in one type of weapon) Thoughts?
For hit points you get maximum at first level and then roll thereafter. Feel free to roll in the discussion board.
